Hello Saturday, the forecast calls for nice weather today. Wow, it has been a long time since I have shared on my blog for a whole week, seven days straight! It just means I have been busy documenting memories and creating cards. I looked at my calendar and I have quite a few friends celebrating anniversaries next month so I am getting them done now! For this card I used sketch #280 from Freshly Made Sketches for inspiration, paper from the American Crafts Crimson 6x6 paper pad and some Recollections enamel dots. Take care and enjoy your weekend.
Hello Friday and welcome weekend! I'm back today to share another LO from my mother's birthday album, I am happy to say that I shipped it to her yesterday. I hope she'll be pleased because there won't be any changes except adding the names the next time I go visit. The chipboard flower stickers are from studio 112 (K&Co) from JoAnn's and they have been in my stash for a long time but the Our Family wood veneer title came from Tuesday Morning within the last few months. I'm sharing this LO for challenge #115 Anything but a Card over at Crafty Gals Corner. Thank you for your visit and I hope you and your family have a great weekend.
Hello and happy Thursday, I am back today sharing another card for the FB card angel group. I created this card after watching one of Mary's videos from Cardz TV and I am sharing it for their Anything Goes Designer Challenge #5. The pattern paper came from one of Becky Higgins' Project Life 6x6 paper pads that I picked up from TM, the band-aid was cut using the Smiley Cards cartridge from Cricut, the medicine bottle is a stamp and die from Lawn Fawn and the sentiment is from the Hero Arts Everyday Sayings stamp set. Thank you for your visit and I hope you'll return soon.
Hello Wednesday, windy and cooler temps today but looking forward to warmer temps this weekend. Today I am sharing a sympathy card that I put together using sketch #489 from Mojo Monday and paper from the My Mind's Eye Happier 6x6 paper pad. The sentiment and inside stamp is from CTMH, the flower is Recollections and some of my unnamed dies which I ordered from Ebay. Another card going postal for the card angel group. Take care and have a wonderful Wednesday.
Hello and happy Tuesday, sprinkles of rain this morning but the forecast calls for warmer temps today. I am back today to share a card that I put together using sketch #38 from Paper Play Sketches for inspiration. I used mostly scraps of paper from my stash, I think the pattern papers are from Studio G, I even pulled out my markers and did a little coloring, the sentiment is from a stamp set that I picked up from HL some time ago (using my stash). I am also sharing this card for challenge #293 over at Hiding in my Craft Room. Take care and I hope you'll come back tomorrow!
Hello and happy Monday, starting off with cool temps for the first day of spring and they are calling for rain later. I am off and running since I was out of the office on Friday but I wanted to stop by and say that I finished my mom's birthday album and it will be going postal within the next few days. I am not sure when I will go visit and I want to surprise her since I promised I would have it done by the end of the month. The only thing left to do is add the names which I will do later. So today I am sharing another a 2-page LO from the album. Take care and I hope you'll come back again soon.
Hello and happy Sunday, nice temps early yesterday but later in the evening it was a different story. Today it is cloudy with light rain and some flurries not too far from us and tomorrow is the first day of Spring. Today I am sharing one of the LOs from an 8x8 album that I am working on from my mom's 75th birthday celebration last October. This project has gone unfinished long enough, I promised my mom it would be done by the end of this month. I plan to have it done before I go to bed tonight, I may share more later this week. Since the album is small and it is important to showcase the pictures there will be limited embellishments. On this LO I used some rub-ons and a mixture of thickers and letters cut with my SLICE. Thank you for your visit, wishing you and yours a wonderful week.
Wow, it's Thursday and I am starting to wonder where has the week has gone. I am so ready for spring but it looks like old man winter is not ready to release it's grips! Today I am sharing a birthday card that I made for a one year old that recently lost his mother so we decided to send him a care package for his birthday. Most of the paper came from my scrap stash and the squirrel die cut came from the Birthday Bash cricut cartridge and the sentiment is a stamp from Hampton Arts. I am sharing this card for the birthday bash challenge over at Bitten By the Bug2. Take care and try to stay warm if you live in an area where it is freezing cold.
Hello and happy Monday, it's cold outside and some areas near us are bracing for snow. Our local forecast is just calling for precipitation. Today I am sharing a card that I created using sketch inspiration from Atlantic Hearts sketch #202, I just finished the card this morning and the link is closed so I'll just share it for the Spring challenge over at Embrace Your Art. I used paper from the My Mind's Eye Happier 6x6 paper pad, a cut from the Phrases cricut cartridge, added a few gems and the card was done! Take care and enjoy your week.
It's Sunday and the start of another work week and I'm starting early. I'm stopping by today with a driveby post as there just never seems to be enough time! Today I am sharing another clean and simple card that I created using sketch inspiration from Freshly Made Sketches. I used TH distress ink for the base of the card (hard to see in the picture), scraps from my stash, cut the little sail boat with my SLICE, a stamp and a few sequins and this card was done. This card is going postal to a little boat that recently lost his mother so we are sending him and his brother care packages. Take care and have a wonderful week.
Hello and happy Thursday, more wind but nice temps again today before more cold weather this weekend. I meant to share this LO in honor of International Women's Day yesterday but such as life would have it I didn't get around to it. So here it is today a LO that showcases the day my daughter and I rocked our pearls as part of the movement to honor former First Lady Michelle Obama for her birthday. I struggled with my paper choice for this LO but I finally chose papers from one of the Craft Smith hot buy paper pads from Michaels, can't remember the name right now. The flowers are some Prima flowers that I picked up during one of my Tuesday Morning visits, I altered the center by adding some pearls and I used a Spellbinders dies for the greenery. Thank you for your visit and I hope you are inspiring, growing, nuturing, encouraging and complimenting the girls/women in your life and community.
Hello and happy Monday, more seasonal temps today; we've been spoiled with the warmer temps! Where does the weekend go, always more to do than time. Today I am sharing another clean and simple card that I put together using sketch #277 from Freshly Made Sketches. I am giving the card to someone that recently move into a new home. The paper came from the Amy Tangerine Ready Set Go 6x6 paper pad, heat embossed the sentiment on the hand cut flag and the card was done! I'm falling behind on my card challenge but I'm current with my LO challenge so #project365 is coming along I just need to work on my organization so I can complete my projects quicker. I just realized today that I haven't been taging my challenge projects here on my blog! Take care and I hope you have a marvelous Monday.
Hello and happy Sunday, seasonal temps and all that comes with it! Need to get myself together for church and the day's activities; I really need to get myself organized as I am just all of the place. Today I am sharing a card that went postal yesterday to a young person recovery from an accident, I used sketch inspiration from challenge #310 over at Try Stampin on Tuesday. I used the Create a Friend cricut cartridge for the guitar and the sentiment and paper from the Be Bold Be Bright line from The Paper Studio. Thank you for your visit and I hope you have a wonderfully blessed week.
Hello and happy Friday, its so cold here today nothing like the nice temps we had earlier this week and they are calling for frost tonight. I'm back today to share a LO that I created for Women's Heart Health when my daughter and I wore red the first Friday in February. I think I used the cricut Mickey font cartridge for the lettering and the heart, didn't note it when I put the LO together during last month's crop. The polka dot paper was left over from another project, added a few sequins and this LO was done. I'm sharing this LO for the Cardz TV Anything Goes Designer Challenge #4. Thank you for your visit and I hope you'll come back again soon.
Hello and happy Thursday, we are back to our season temperatures today after setting a record of 81 degrees yesterday. Today I am sharing another get well card that I put together for the FB card angel group using inspiration from sketch #311 from Try Stampin' on Tuesday. I used paper came from the My Mind's Eye Fly a Kite 6x6 paper pad, a Sizzix die and some Echo Park enamel dots. Thank you for your visit and I hope you'll come back again soon.
Hello and happy Wednesday, cooler temps and rain today. I'm back today with another card that I put together for the FB card angel group. Sketch inspiration for this card came from the February sketch challenge over at Scrapbook and Cards Today, I didn't get to share it over there but I'm sharing it for the use a sketch challenge over at Use Your Stuff. This was a perfect challenge for me as I almost always use sketches for inspiration. I used paper from the Paris & Co. by My Mind's Eye 6x6 paper pad, a tag die, a Lawn Fawn stamp set and I even did a little coloring! Take care and have a wonderful Wednesday.
