Today's project share is my design team project for the <a href="https://cutitupchallenges.blogspot.com/" target="_blank">Cut it Up</a> challenge blog. I created this mini slim line card for the Colors of Spring challenge #299.<p></p><p>When putting this card I used a Spellbinders embossing folder called Bubble Wrap, it has been in my stash for many years and this was my first time using it. I am having a hard time parting with stuff even though I am not or haven't used them. The remaining die cuts came from the Spellbinders Open House Door Die Collection. Finishing by adding some gems in the flower centers. I am sharing this card for challenge #164 Cozy over at <a href="https://craftinghappinesschallenges.blogspot.com/" target="_blank">Crafting Happiness</a> and challenge #60 over at <a href="https://mynbus.blogspot.com/2024/03/nbus-challenge-60.html" target="_blank">Never Before Used Stuff.</a></p><p>Please visit the <a href="https://cutitupchallenges.blogspot.com/" target="_blank">Cut it Up</a> challenge blog for more inspiration, create and share your Colors of Spring project. Today's card share was created using inspiration from <a href="https://atlanticheartschallenge.blogspot.com/" target="_blank">Atlantic Hearts</a> sketch challenge #567 and more miscellaneous papers from my many scraps. I cut the clover using the Create a Critter 2 Cricut cartridge, used a Fiskars stamp for the sentiment and finished by adding some sequins. This card was created using inspiration from one of the design team members over on <a href="https://justusgirlschallenge.blogspot.com/" target="_blank">Just Us Girls</a>, the theme for challenge #716 was to CASE a one of their design team members. Again I reached for papers that was used from recent projects with the exception of the vinyl that I used for the records. Now that I am thinking about I do have some mirrored cardstock that I could have used. The stamp and die set is an unbranded set that I had in my stash. I also embossed the white layer with a sheet music folder which is hard to see in the picture even though I did ink it lightly. This is one of those cards that look better in person. I also shred this card for the music themed challenge hosted by 2crafters1 design over on YT and IG.<p></p><p>Continue to be safe and enjoy the rest of your weekend.</p>Trevahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/00431394995080446865noreply@blogger.com4tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4466416962093960637.post-57733411722076734502024-03-02T07:56:00.001-05:002024-03-02T07:56:28.993-05:00It's Your Happy Day<p> </p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br /></div><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhZz-iniyES-XLDnNy0w1DgDyiAvZ218_taUARhSgjPN-V56XvgcZsQ1TWTbT7iF6QCp6K4gdcnaYaUVREdhyphenhyphenz7usGevmlTZ43wGl9wcQTxisjYrgJMSKCrz-mRSprEkD_PlIKHYqRPtefovb9u33qULPocawtc-vs_Kay8sVqmLHvasFYL4Mrh37HIk7g/s1532/20240301_221445.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1532" data-original-width="1149" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhZz-iniyES-XLDnNy0w1DgDyiAvZ218_taUARhSgjPN-V56XvgcZsQ1TWTbT7iF6QCp6K4gdcnaYaUVREdhyphenhyphenz7usGevmlTZ43wGl9wcQTxisjYrgJMSKCrz-mRSprEkD_PlIKHYqRPtefovb9u33qULPocawtc-vs_Kay8sVqmLHvasFYL4Mrh37HIk7g/s320/20240301_221445.jpg" width="240" /></a></div><br />Hello Saturday, it's pouring buckets of rain so I will only go out as necessary! Today I am sharing a card that I created for a IG challenge for #craftydares. This week's dare was to use a doily, the color pink and a butterfly. I used Vicki Boutin papers, a WeR Memorykeepers heart doily die, a Crafter's Companion stamp and die sets, a MS punch for the butterflies and some CTMH gems. This card doesn't have to just be for Valentine's Day. I am sharing this card for challenge #743 - Love over at <a href="https://lilredwagon.blogspot.com/" target="_blank">Little Red Wagon</a> and Hearts/Flowers challenge over at <a href="https://tuesdaytaggers.blogspot.com/2024/02/hearts-andor-flowers.html" target="_blank">Try it on Tuesday</a>.<p></p><p>Thank you for your visit, continue to be safe and hurry back soon.</p>Trevahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/00431394995080446865noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4466416962093960637.post-12052888295988979882024-02-14T07:12:00.001-05:002024-02-14T07:12:13.753-05:00Thinking of You<p> </p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br /></div><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgWqv1Ek7wBVgeQu08_udPiZ-JQpcfEKE3LxV2XNFT6R7aFF0EydW4I0zzxK22iU-4fde-FOzG7AaQnqeDKm-GttdpzaBRV2RcCZ41soh7kxm29bq00chlavtOE288ufruuUtijmkl9FE_QTxPYcohVlfGZ-r3UGUzOVFOyer_CNzhOWRAM9ak6ChXYAOc/s1699/20240213_130649.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1699" data-original-width="1345" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgWqv1Ek7wBVgeQu08_udPiZ-JQpcfEKE3LxV2XNFT6R7aFF0EydW4I0zzxK22iU-4fde-FOzG7AaQnqeDKm-GttdpzaBRV2RcCZ41soh7kxm29bq00chlavtOE288ufruuUtijmkl9FE_QTxPYcohVlfGZ-r3UGUzOVFOyer_CNzhOWRAM9ak6ChXYAOc/s320/20240213_130649.jpg" width="253" /></a></div><br />Hello and Happy Valentine's Day! Today's project share is a layout created for my design team project for the <a href="https://cutitupchallenges.blogspot.com/" target="_blank">Cut it Up</a> challenge blog. The theme for challenge #296 is This Makes Me Happy.<p></p><p>Ordinarily I would scrap something family centered but this picture was sitting on my table waiting to be scrapped. I am a shoe girl, love shoes and my feet are always happy when I put on some new shoes. On that particular day I was sitting in church and snapped this picture of my feet! I used mostly scraps of paper, the pattern sheet came for a Paper Studio paper pack, I think the name of it is Boss Babe. Today's project share is my design team project for the <a href="https://cutitupchallenges.blogspot.com/" target="_blank">Cut it Up</a> challenge blog. The theme for challenge #295 is A New Year (use a new tool, design, technique, idea, etc).<p></p><p>In my head I had a lot of things/ideas that would meet the criteria of the challenge theme but as life would have it I created this card using a new cover plate die and some color pops that I had from Scrapbook.com, a free item with a purchase. So I am happy that I was able to use two new unused items from my stash. This may have been the first time that I tried the inlay technique too! Purple is one of my favorite colors so I just paired it with another sheet of paper that was sitting on my desk from another project. I am sharing my card for the January challenge #119 over at <a href="https://pathofpositivitychallenge.blogspot.com/" target="_blank">Path of Positivity</a> challenge blog and #58 over at <a href="https://mynbus.blogspot.com/2024/01/nbus-challenge-58.htm" target="_blank">Never Before Used Stuff</a>.</p><p>Now that you've seen my project, I hope you will visit the <a href="https://cutitupchallenges.blogspot.com/" target="_blank">Cut it Up</a> challenge blog for more design team inspiration, we have four new team members that recently joined. I hope you will be inspired to create and share your project using something new from your crafty stash, don't forget to use a die, The challenge starts today and ends, Wednesday, January 24, 2024 at noon PST.</p><p>Thank you for your visit, take care and hurry back soon.</p>Trevahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/00431394995080446865noreply@blogger.com9tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4466416962093960637.post-22608943052011749992024-01-09T05:58:00.000-05:002024-01-09T05:58:22.459-05:00Bee Happy<p></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEifyTbkPE4ogiF0ToenHhaWJEa-jmi78x4RcBs0rLegoCQfYETdLfsxcZrU_9CcmekEvOKr7AERxd91n9_1xM0qe24gcf8jnrqz6htva4xudFYxL4_wtNr86XDjUnW98_-Z_EHWL-08tHVSEjYDfY0D51sMQ2dyIj_WHjuFvo3o1jYZPW-EsLJsNdAVF_E/s2192/20240108_111849.jpg" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="2192" data-original-width="1701" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEifyTbkPE4ogiF0ToenHhaWJEa-jmi78x4RcBs0rLegoCQfYETdLfsxcZrU_9CcmekEvOKr7AERxd91n9_1xM0qe24gcf8jnrqz6htva4xudFYxL4_wtNr86XDjUnW98_-Z_EHWL-08tHVSEjYDfY0D51sMQ2dyIj_WHjuFvo3o1jYZPW-EsLJsNdAVF_E/s320/20240108_111849.jpg" width="248" /></a></div><br /> Hello Monday and Happy Birthday to my Aunt Andrea!
