Sunday Musings

Hello and happy Sunday, it's almost bed time.  I was going to schedule this post for tomorrow but I just decided why not do it now.  Today I am sharing another Father's Day card using inspiration from card sketch #120 from Sketch N Scrap.   The pattern papers are from the Love Nicole Time Machine 6x6 paper pad, a Hero Arts stamp for the sentiment added a few Jolee dimensional stickers and this card was done!  I am sharing this card for the  Any Holiday Challenge #350 over at Hiding in my Craft Room.  Thank you for your visit, hope you have a wonderful week as we say goodbye to April and hello to May!

Happy Birthday

Hello and happy Saturday, today is my manager's birthday so I am sharing the card I made for her.   I used one of my new favorite die sets  to make the card, this easel card is so versatile.  I used some  Love Nicole heavy weight cardsrock for the base and some paper scraps from the American Crafts Crimison 6x6 paper pad for the banner.  I heat embossed the sentiment and the flower, I think I might even use chalkboard paper the next time I make this card!   I am sharing this card for the CAS challenge #55 over at Always Fun Challenges and the Anything Goes  Challenge #45 over at  Cardz TV.   Thank you for your visit, have a wonderful weekend.

Wednesday Musings

Hello and happy Wednesday, mild temps and more rain showers in the forecast in our area today.  I am doing a really quick post as I am still extremely busy so time is of the essence.  Today's project share is a birthday card created using sketch inspiration from card sketch  #119 from Sketch N Scrap, papers from  the Shimelle True Stories 6x6 paper pad, the Spellbinders cupcake die and a few rhinestones.  I am sharing this card for challenge #366 - Birthday over at Die Cuttin' Divas and the Anything Goes Challenge #43 over at Cardz TV.   Thank you for your visit, hope you'll come back soon.

Hello Friday

Hello and happy Friday, cooler temps this AM but a little warm up later today.  Day 2 of our move and I am up trying to get an early start to my day.  I have had some late nights this week ar work so my plan is to leave work a little early today.  Baby girl returns from her minimester in South Carolina today, DH is out of town for the weekend and there's lots do as always.  Today's card is one that I put together for someone that recently experienced the loss of both of their parents.  I used paper from the 6x6 Spring paper pad from American Crafts, a WeR Memory Keepers die for the rose, twine for the bow and some Queen & Co Jellies as embellishments.  I am sharing this card for the following challenges:  3-2-1 over at  DIe Cuttin' Divas, Super Scraps Saturday #348 over at  Hiding in my Craft Room. and Anything Goes #44 over at  Cardz TV..  Thank you for your visit, have a wonderful weekend and I hope you return soon!

Wednesday Musings

Hello and happy Wednesday, lots going on today as I will be working my last day in my current building.  They have built us a new hospital and we will start moving tomorrow, bittersweet as I'm not sure how I feel about it.  Anyway on to my project share for today, another birthday card to add to my stash using sketch inspiration from  Fall to Layout #66 Take Two over at Clean & Simple Stamping.  I used more scrap paper from my stash and balloon dies from C. C. Designs.  I even used some liquid pearls for the first time, they have been in my stash for a very long time!  I am sharing this card for this month's  challenge over at Always Happy Birthday  and the Anything Goes Challenge #43 over at Cardz TV.  Thank you for your visit and I hope you'll come back soon.

Enjoy Life

Hello and happy Monday afternoon, I am squeezing in a driveby post.  I have been so busy that I don't know whether I am going or coming.  I did spend sometime this weekend working on the LO that I am sharing today.  The LO uses sketch inspiration from sketch #150 over at Sketch N Scrap and pictures from my daughter's birthday dinner earlier this year.  I used papers from the Recollections Elegant and Serene paper pad, flowers from Recollections and the title is a sticker from one of the scrapbooking page kits that I picked up from Hobby Lobby on clearance.  Thank you for your visit, I have a busy week but I do hope to get in a few more posts this week!

Totally Thursday

Hello and happy Thursday it is really cold outside, I think spring is hiding.  I am happy to report that I used more paper from my scrap stash and I used the Sizzix chalkboard easel die by Lori Whitlock that I picked up on clearance at HL not too long ago.   I really like this die set so I'll be using it again soon!  I'm sharing this card for the Anything Goes challenge #41 over at Cardz TV, the April challenge over at Always Happy Birthday, and challenge #346 - Freestyle over at Hiding in my Craft Room.  Thank you for your visit, take care and be safe.

Father's Day

Hello and happy Tuesday, nicer temps are in the forecast for today but I have to work so that's no big deal to me since I don't have any outside plans!  Last weekend as I was going through my scrap stash I decided to put some cards together before tossing some of the scraps because my scraps are really getting out of hand!  I put together this card using sketch inspiration from the Fall to Layout #64 from Clean & Simple Stamping.  I cut the tie using the Simply Charmed Cricut cartridge and the sentiment came from the one of the stamp sets that comes with the CTMH Artfully Sent Cricut cartridge bundle.  I'm sharing this card for challenge #21 - Anything Goes over at the LTCCB.  Thank you for your visit and I hope you'll come back again soon.
