Back2School


Hello Thursday, I am back today to share one of the cards that I put together for our daughter who is heading to high school next week.  She'll find a different card in her lunch box each day next week, this will be her first year catching the bus so it will be an adventure!  The sketch inspiration came from sketch #84 over at Can You Case It?   I used a kraft card base and  pattern paper from the 8x8 TPC Studio Homeroom paper pad that has been in my stash for a while.  I cut the bus and sentiment from the Autumn Celebrations cricut cartridge so I am also sharing this card for this week's Back to School challenge over at Bitten by the Bug2.  Added some dimensional dots and gems for the headlights and this card was done, I have my friend Felisa to thank for keeping my inbox full of sketch ideas!

    wow - you are a special mom to have so much love put into your child's life - very nice to put a little card in the lunchbox. I'm sure she will love it.

    thanks for joining us at bbtb2 this week. I too, once long ago, took the school bus - it was actually fun and I got to meet and talk to people that were not in my classes.

    I'm kind of sad mine don't take their lunches anymore, because I liked to pop a little note in there too! This turned out so cute and seeing the yellow bus brought back memories! Thanks for joining our BBTB2 challenge last week!
