Teacher Appreciation

Hello and happy Friday, mild temps in the forecast for our area today.  It's Friday and I'm here to share a last minute card that I had to mass produce for my daughter.  She is in her last year of high school and for some reason decided that she wanted to do something for her teachers so I made a this card after looking on the internet for quick and simple ideas!  I literally took the picture as we were trying to get out the door after she asked me to write the note on the inside of the cards so it looks a little blurred.  I used a Darice embossing folder, the pencil is a cut from the Nate's ABCs Cricut cartridge and the sentiment is from the Cricut Sampler cartridge.  I thought about adding some stars but since I had to put these together without any help from my daughter I kept it simple!  This week we have recognized; police, nurses and teachers and we are thankful for the important work that they do!  I'm sharing this card for the anything goes challenge #89 over at Cardz TV.

Thank you for your visit, wishing you a wonderful weekend as most will celebrate mothers and college graduates.

Teacher Appreciation

Hello and happy Friday; it is currently raining outside.  My eyes are burning because I am still sleepy but I must get my day started.  Today I am sharing one of the teacher appreciation cards that I made for my daughter's teachers.  I made five but since I finished them at the last minute I didn't have time to take pictures.  I am happy  to report I am still on my spending ban so everything used has been in my stash for sometime!  This card  is for my daughter's History teacher, I used my Darice notebook paper embossing folder for the first time, the globe is a sticker, the sentiment is from the Beyond Birthdays cricut cartridge, and I  finished off this clean and simple card by added a few sequins.  Wishing you and yours a blessed weekend.

Teacher Appreciation

Its the last day for Teacher Appreciation Week and I was torn with whether I was going to do anything.  At the ninth hour last night my daughter asked me when I was going to make the cards; I was up until almost midnight putting four cards together.  I used this card that I got from the silhouette store but putting the pieces of the pencils together was a job in itself.  I used alphabet stickers on the inside and each teacher got a starbucks gift card.  I was in such a hurry that I almost forgot to take a picture!

Teacher Appreciation

I completed these two projects for DD's teachers for Teacher Appreciation Week. These projects aren't my originals you can find them on several crafting and informational websites. We sent flowers on Monday, thank you notes on Tuesday, desserts on Wednesday, I sent the bottled water w/tea on Thursday and today the post-it note holders, pen and a starbucks gift card.

Teacher

This is the bouquet that I made for my daughter's teacher for Teacher Appreciation week. We sent a small token everyday and I sat and watched the class so she could enjoy lunch with the other teachers yesterday. I have mixed feelings about how it turned out but its the thought that counts.
