Wednesday Musings

Hello Wednesday, doing a quick drive by post to share a card created using sketch inspiration from  Atlantic Hearts challenge #692. I created this card by stamping the image on a watercolor piece of paper, colored it with some Recollection watercolor crayons (something that has been in my stash for a very long time). The color actualy has a shimmer to it I guess that's why the packaging says speciality!  I am having a hard time parting with stuff as I de-clutter so I am using it to see if it should remain in my stash for a little while longer.  I cut the image with the die, assembled the card, added a stamped sentiment and a few gems and the card was done.

Thank you for your visit and I hope you'll vsit again soon!

CIU #356 - Flowers

Hello Friday, let the weekend begin! Today's project share is my design team member project for the Cut it Up challenge blog. The theme for  challenge #356 is flowers so I reached for two more die sets (flowers and sentiment) from the  2024 Spellbinders Advent Calendar, one of the items that you have in your stash waiting for the right time to use it! This is a true shopping your stash project, the pattern papers are from the American Crafts Cutie Pie paper pad, I  used sketch inspiration from the Atlantic Hearts sketch challenge #681; like when a card comes together as you vision it in your head but I don't like the little pieces in these die sets (maybe that's why they had been tucked away)!

Now that you're seen my flower project I hope you will visit the Cut it Up challenge blog for more inspiration, create and share your project using flowers. The challenge starts today and ends Monday, May 25, 2026 at noon PST. Don't forget to use a die on your project.

Thank you for your visit, continue to be safe and hurry back again soon.

Hello Friend

It’s Saturday morning and we are still on a major storm watch, praying that it is not as bad as they are predicting! Anxiety level moderate to high so that’s why I am crafting while I still can. Today’s card share was created using sketch inspiration from Atlantic Hearts challenge #665, random papers mostly from an old Kiwi Lane card class kit. Cut the Spellbinders butterfly using some glitter paper, the greenery came from a Sizzix wreath die, a Crafter’s Companion hexagon die, some gems and a TH label sticker for the sentiment. This was clearly a shopping my stash project! I have a wish list but I have no plans to buy any crafting goodies aside for adhesive!

Day 6 - Merry Christmas

Hello and happy Sunday, the start of a new week.  I moving right along with my challenges barely keeping up but doing what I can! Today's card was created using Atlantic Hearts challenge #658 more papers from the Bella Blvd paper pad, a sentiment stamp from Scrapbook.com and a few gems.  I have mixed feelings about it as I didn't have a die to cut the pattern paper and I struggle with placement with my cutting board at times!  I might have to do another card using this sketch as I still have a ways to go in this challenge, this card marks the hallway point!

Thank you for your visit, continue to take care and hurry back again soon.
