CIU #346 - Anything Goes

Hello and happy Friday, praying that you had a blessed Christmas with family and friends. Today’s card share is the project created for the final challenge for 2025.for the Cut it Up challenge blog. The challenge for challenge #346 was Anything Goes and in keeping with my quest to use unused items from my stash I created a shaker card. When creating my card I used some very old pattern papers from a K&Co mat pad and a Momenta die set for the tree. The die set was one gifted to me a few years ago. The shaker bits have been in my stash  for some  years too, came from the Target Dollar Spot along with the sticker sentiments, I made a lot of cards bout failed to mail most of them, there’s always next year! I'm sharing this card for the December Christmas/Winter challenge over at Die Cut Divas.

Now that you’re seen my card I hope you will visit the Cut it Up challenge for more design team inspiration.  Create and share your Anything Goes project using a die cut, the challenge starts today and ends Monday, January 5, 2026 at noon PST.

Continue to be safe during this holiday season! Thank you for your visit, I hope you'll visit again soon.

Sunday Musings

Wow, it has been forever since I share but I have been trying to get some crafting done.  I have been a little under the weather so I have been resting trying to get over whatever is going around.  Today's card share is another holiday card created using inspiration from Atlantic Hearts sketch challenge #660. I used pattern paper from a Park Lane paper pad,  a Tonic Studios tree die (first time using it), some gems and a TH label sentiment.  Another card and going postal tomorrow, not sure if it'll make it to it's destination in time!

Thank you for your visit, take care and enjoy time with your family and friends during this season.

CIU #345 - Oldie But Goodie

Hello and happy Friday, snow mostly gone but the cold temps are here to stay; it already feels like Winter. Today I am sharing my design team project for the Cut it Up challenge blog, the theme is Oldie But Goodie.  I chose an item that every time I go to get rid of it, it tugs at my heart!  I really like the Slice little die cutting machine as a matter of fact I'm on my second one! I used two different SD cards on my card, one for the tree and the other for the sentiment.  Everything used to make this card has been in my stash for a while with the exception of the arch shaped die set.  I think the Slice machine is definitely one of my favorite tools! I am sharing this card for the December Anything Goes challenge over at A Cut Above.

Head on over to the Cut it Up challenge blog to see what everyone else has used from their stash.  I hope you'll look in your stash for an oldie but goodie item, create and share your project using a die cut. The challenge starts today and ends Monday, December 22, 2025 at noon PST.

Thank you for your visit and taking the time to leave a comment.  Be safe and hurry back again soon. I'm mostly done with my 12 Days of  Crafting challenge but I still have lots to do.

Tuesday Musings

Hello and happy Tuesday, cold and snow here in our area so I will be staying in a little longer before heading in to work once the temperature comes up a little.  Today's card share was created using sketch inspiration from Sketch N Scrap card sketch #292 and papers from the Paper Studio Miss Mary Christmas 6x6 paper pad.  I cut the poinsettia with a Momenta die set, added some gold gems to the center and used a TH label sticker for the sentiment.

Thank you for your visit, take care and hurry back soon.

Day 6 - Merry Christmas

Hello and happy Sunday, the start of a new week.  I moving right along with my challenges barely keeping up but doing what I can! Today's card was created using Atlantic Hearts challenge #658 more papers from the Bella Blvd paper pad, a sentiment stamp from Scrapbook.com and a few gems.  I have mixed feelings about it as I didn't have a die to cut the pattern paper and I struggle with placement with my cutting board at times!  I might have to do another card using this sketch as I still have a ways to go in this challenge, this card marks the hallway point!

Thank you for your visit, continue to take care and hurry back again soon.

Thanks

Hello and welcome to my first project share for My Twelve Days of Crafting Challenge.  I am doing this challenge with one of my crafting friends, rather than doing 12 days of Christmas which is what we usually do; we aren't limiting our projects to Christmas projects. I created this card using inspiration from the Shopping Our Stash challenge #561, A Quick Thank You; I think I did succeed in creating this card within the suggested 30 minute once I selected the papers and the dies that I wanted to used.  I used papers from the Dear Lizzy Neapolitan  12x12 paper pad,  dies from Stampin Up and Scrapbook.com.

Thank you for your visit, be safe and hurry back soon.

Sending Happy Thoughts

Hello Thursday, I'm doing a quick driveby post to share a post that I had started some time ago and never finished.  This card has been gone postal and should have been received as it was created for a FB card group.  I used some random  papers that have been sitting on my desk as I am trying to finish using some 6x6 pads that only have a few sheets remaining.  The umbrella die is  from a  Pretty Pink Posh set and the fabric flowers are from Recollections.  Added some gems to the flower centers and a stamped sentiment and this card was done!  I am sharing this card for the Anything Goes challenges for Weeks #726-727 over at Word Art Wednesday and the monthly Anything Goes challenge over at A Cut Above.

Thank you for your visit, take care and hurry back soon.

CIU #343 - Favorite Color

Hello Friday, let the weekend begin! Today’s card was created for challenge #343 over at  Cut it Up  for the favorite color theme. I have more than one favorite color but my most favorite color is red! This signature clean and simple card came together nicely once the pattern paper was chosen;  The polka dot piece of paper came from an old Craft Smith 6x6 pad called Peppermint Twist.  I used the Tim Holtz Sizzix Bow Tied  Colorize die with the addition of a gem for the center and  a Tim Holtz label sticker for the sentiment. Although I don't use it often this is one of my favorite die sets!

I hope you will visit the Cut it Up challenge blog for more inspiration, create and share your project using your favorite color. The challenge starts today and ends Monday, November 24, 2025 at noon PST.

Thank you for your visit, be well and continue to be safe. I hope you will return soon!

I used random scrap papers from my stash, some Crafter's Square dimensional stickers and a sentiment from scrapbook.com.  The card came together nicely but this is not one that will be going postal, I would hand deliver it! I am sharing this card  for the Anything Goes challenge for weeks #724-725 over at Word Art Wednesday and on IG for two challenges hosted on YT.

Thank you for your visit, take care and enjoy your holiday if you have tomorrow off! Hurry back soon.

Hello Sunday evening, doing a quick drive by post to share a card that I created this weekend. I used sketch inspiration form Atlantic Hearts challenge #1653 and a piece of pattern paper from a paper pad that was sitting on my desk from a recently created project.  Cut the snowflakes using two different die sets and the sentiment is a Sizzix TH die set; hard to see in the picture but  I added vellum to the oval opening.  Each snowflake also has a glittered gem in the center.

Gift Packaging

Hello Thursday, this week has gone by so fast and I really haven't had time to play!  Today's project share is a simple decorating idea for some packaging.  I needed something small to gift a magnet that I had picked up on a recent road trip.  I had some DIY bags in my stash so I just decided  to decorate the bag using a tree cut from the Pagoda Cricut cartridge.  I had pulled this cartridge for an Asian themed challenge hosted by 2Crafters1Design over on YT and IG.  Tied  a bow  using some twine and stamped a sentiment and it was done.  I'm sharing this project for the Word Art Wednesday Anything Goes challenge for weeks #722 - #723.

Thank you for your visit, take care and hurry back again soon!
