JUMP

Hello Wednesday, doing a quick drive by post as I meant to share yesterday. I have been busy finishing up my layouts for my quarterly goal! Today starts a new quarter and I already got plans this weekend to work on a few layouts as I don't have any holiday plans.

I created this 81/2x11 layout to document a holiday visit to see the lights outside and visit Santa's indoor fun workshop.  I used my brick stencil to add some interest to the background, I always want the photos to be the focal point for my layouts, shopped my stash for some lettering for the title. Cut a few embellishments, added some enamel dots and this was layout was done.

I am sharing this layout for Just Us Girls challenge #829 - Stencil Week.

Thank you for your visit, take care and hurry back soon.

Happy Mother's Day

Hello and happy Sunday and Mother's Day! It has been an emotional day for me as this is the second year I am celebrating as a motherless child. I am sharing a card that I put together this morning using sketch inspiration from Sketch N Scrap card sketch #297, pattern papers from Paper Studio, used a die set from an old Spellbinders Advent Calendar.  It had been sitting in my stash for a while as I picked up from a yard sale, used my Cricut to cut the sentiment and this card was done!  I still might send it to someone because as mothers we are to be celebrated everyday!

I am sharing this card for the May Anything Goes challenge over at A Cut Above and the Die Week challenge #822 over at Just Us Girls.

Thank you for your visit, continue to be safe and hurry aback again soon.

Wednesday Musings

Hello and happy Wednesday, doing a quick drive by post to share a graduation card that I created for a family friend. I used sketch inspiration from Just Us Girls where this week's challenge #821 was to CASE a design team members project.  I used inspiration from DT member Sue and I flipped the card sketch and added some ink splatters. I used my Cricut to cut all the other elements of the card from three different cartridges. One graduation card done with only two more to be done!

Thank you for your visit, continue to be safe and hurry back again soon.

Hi Friend

Hello,  Happy Indigenous Peoples Day and the start of a new work week.  Even though today is a holiday I am going into work as I need to take off on Friday. Today's project share is a card created using sketch inspiration from the second WCMD sketch shared over on Sketch N Scrap. I used some random papers from a Kiwi Lane card kit that someone gifted me some time ago, the struggle is real trying to get through my stash of crafty goodies!  I cut the focal point using the Create-a-Critter 2 Cricut cartridge and used a Fiskars stamp for the sentiment which I heat embossed.  Another card done to add to my stash.  I am sharing this card for the Anything Goes challenge for weeks #720-721 over at Word Art Wednesday.

Hello and happy Friday, let the weekend begin. I am so excited as I am headed out of town for some crafty fun tomorrow. Merry Christmas

Hello and happy Wednesday, another mild weather day in our area!  I am moving right along with getting my holiday cards done, hoping to get them in the mail by next weekend.  I’ve already sent cards for two different swaps so I just need to finish the cards for family and friends.  Today’s card share may very well be the one that I make  multiples, just need to see if I have the larger paper pad.  I put this card together after watching a Cardz TV YT video,  I used papers from the Craft Smith Say Freeze 6x6 paper pad, cut the deer using the December 25th Cricut cartridge, a Hero Arts stamp for the sentiment and some Gina Marie Designs enamel dots. I was really pleased with how this card came out, I think the paper choice really compliments the design.  I am sharing this card for the Anything Goes challenge #154 over at Cardz TV, thank you Mary for your inspiration!

April Showers MemoryDex

Hello rainy Monday morning, doing a quick drive by post to share my monthly MemoryDex card.  I really like how this one came out as it is one of the few times the end result came close to the plan I had in my head!  I use a pattern piece of paper from a  DCWV paper pad along with other misc. scraps of paper from my stash (I really just need to toss  those scraps).  I cut the grass and tulips using the Artiste and Walk in my Garden cricut cartridges, used a SU punch for the umbrella, stamped, colored  and fuzzy cut the boots and the bee.  Added the bee and boots with dimensional tape and doodled the bee line with a sharpie, both were requirements elements for the challenge.  I'm sharing this for the Anything Goes challenge #138 over at Cardz TV.

Thank you for your visit, continue to be safe and hurry back again soon!

Woven Background

Hello Monday,  third day of Spring looking forward to milder temps.  Today’s card share is another card created after watching one of  Natasha’s YT videos.  This was my second attempt at trying this particular background, I still feel like there’s room for improvement. I  used two different colors of oxide inks and some blooms from a My Creative Time water brush blooms  stamp set, cut the strips and then wove the strips to create the background.  I cut the sunflower using the Cricut Walk in my Garden cartridge after getting frustrated with a stamp and die set.  Added a stamped sentiment and this card was done and will be going postal soon! I am sharing this card for the Anything Goes challenge #136 over at Cardz TV.

Thank you for your visit, hurry back soon.
