First Day of School
This LO is of DD on the first day of school, I adapted this LO from a layout in the Annie's Attic Scrapbooking With Cricut book. I'm still not convinced that this book was a good investment but since I used a coupon I won't complain. I like how the LO came out and it didn't take me long to put it together once I selected the paper. I can never really share specific details because I always use a 'hodge podge' of paper stacks, single sheets and misc. stuff that were previously purchased. I can say that I used the Old West cartridge for 2010 and Don Juan for the 1st Day!

I'm Grateful For
I've finally been working on tryng to finish up my gratitude journal. In case you don't remember this was a challenge over at Scraps of Color that we did last June and I have yet to finish my 30 LOs. I've completed all of the journaling its just the actual scrapping that I haven't been able to complete. In these two LOs I scrapped about being grateful for the last day of school and my childcare provider. I will complete this project before June of this year though.

Happy 70th
Today's is my father's 70th birthday and I'm bubbling with joy. I'm happy because I still have my father here on earth with me and because he has been a blessing to our family. He adores and cherishes his only grandaughter and treats her like she's the one and only. This is a picture of them on Sunday when they came to visit while we were having lunch at O'Charleys (her favorite restaurant). They were doing the children's menu activities. I am thankful for both my parents, I love them dearly and I probably don't tell them enough.

Happy Monday
We had a busy weekend celebrating our daughter's 10th birthday. What an exciting time she's in double digits now and I've got lots of pictures to scrap. She celebrated with her friends at Panera Bread and Build-a-Bear Workshop on Saturday. On yesterday which was her actual birthday we went out to lunch with my parents. We had so much fun and everyone had a blast since we haven't been able to visit my parents in a few months and DD is always showered with lots of love when she gets to see them!

Pumpkin Pickin'
I'm having a good time trying to complete at least one LO a week which about all I can sneak in right now! This is a LO that I completed of DD choosing her pumpkins last year! The LO was inspired by a LO posted in an old quarterly Scrapbooking magazine sold at HL. I used the cricut cartridges Simply Charmed and Old West for the first time so of course I was happy.

Update
I AM PARTICIPATING IN A NO CRAFT SHOPPING BAN!
No craft shopping for the this whole month so that means no shopping and not being enable by others. I have to use what I have, can even buy adhesive; I should have enough as I don't get to scrap as often as I'd like to. No in store, online or window showpping for 28 days.
Its February already, the second month of the year and there's lots going on. My baby girl turns 10 and my father turns 70 so thats two reason to celebrate. We also celebrate Black History month although I celebrate it everyday. Its also American Heart Health month so I'm wearing red on the 4th in recognition of women's heart health. February 14 is Valentine's Day so we'll see what that holds for the loves of our lives!
So whats on your plate for February? Is your calendar filled with b-days, holidays and special events. I'm wishing you much love, health and happiness!
