Tuesday Musings

 Hello and happy Tuesday morning,  doing a quick drive by post to share another birthday card.  I created this card using sketch inspiration from Try Stampin' on Tuesday sketch number 599, scraps of paper from my stash and a previously die cut sentiment.  I have to really work harder at using my stash since I went to Tuesday Morning yesterday and they had items marked 80 and 90 percent off.  I really didn't need anything but there were a few items that I had been watching so I took advantage of the prices.  I am really sad to see them go but I did learn that there would still be one that I could visit when I go to visit my parents.

CIU #274 - Embellishments

 Hello and happy Friday, nice temperatures in today's forecast.   Today's card share is my latest design team project for the Cut it Up challenge blog, the theme for challenge #700 is embellishments!  I created this monochromatic card using sketch inspiration from Tuesday Morning Sketches #700, papers from the My Mind's Eye Dwell 6x6 paper pad, a MFT banner die, a typewriter die (In'spire by Spellbinders), a Crafter's Companion stamp for the sentiment and a few Recollections faux peal embellishments.  I popped up the typewriter so that the background would be more visible.

Good morning,  and happy Sunday; the start to a wonderful week!  Today's card share is a mini slimline card using some rainbow colored pattern paper from Pebbles Kid at Heart  paper pad, a Crafter's Companion cupcake die, a scrapbook.com die for the sentiment and some Paper Studio star gems.  I am sharing this card for the Somewhere Over the Rainbow challenge #492 over at Shopping Our Stash.  Another card ready to go postal when needed, as I looked the card, I think I put the pattern paper on upside down, I think the scallops should be down; oh well such is life!

Thursday Musings

 

Hello little Friday, doing a quick drive by post to share another card.  For this card, I used sketch inspiration from Atlantic Hearts challenge  #516,  papers from the American Crafts Crimson 6x6 paper pad, a Sizzix rectangle die set, a Hero Arts stamp for the sentiment and some Crafter's Square gems.  I'm using my stash but have recently added a few items, sorry to see Tuesday Morning close but their sale hasn't been that great.

Easter Greetings

 Hello and happy Tuesday, cool and windy in our area today.  Today's card share is an Easter card using sketch inspiration from Sketch N Scrap card challenge #237, some Stampin' Up papers, a WeR Memorykeeprs tag die and a cross diecut that was gifted to me from another crafter.  I finished the card by adding a few sequins and a wood veneer diamond that I sprayed with some silver Mister Huey's color mist.  The card was hard to photograph; I think it looks better in person.

Sunday Musings

 Hello Sunday, the start of a new week and adjusting to daylight savings time! I'm doing a quick drive by post to share another  birthday card created using sketch inspiration from Atlantic Hearts challenge #515, the papers I used are mostly scraps the pattern piece is from the Echo Park Hello Easter 6x6 pad.  I cut the flower using a Sizzix die, the focal birthday dies is an unbranded die and the swirl is a Momenta die.  Another signature clean and simple card done and ready to go postal.

CIU #273 - This Makes Me Happy

 Hello and happy Friday, I'm back today to share my latest design team project for the Cut it Up challenge blog.  The theme for challenge #273 is This Makes me Happy, I decided to create a layout since I am so behind on my layout challenges.   Coffee makes me happy but it is not good for me since I have to add flavored cream and syrup!  I have given up coffee for Lent hoping to decrease my desire to have it, I just can't tolerate it black.

The layout sketch was inspired by one created by another crafter  and shared on IG at @shesgottascrap.  I used pattern paper from the Park Lane Classic Chic paper pad,  a Sizzix tag die, a piece of metallic trim from the Target Dollar Spot, some enamel dots and hearts from my stash.  I added some paint splatters, used my Dynamo label maker and AC letter stickers for the title.

Hello and happy little Friday; it's cool but sunny here in our area.  I am working from home today so I haven't gone outside yet; I might try to get in a quick lunch time walk.  Today's project share is an Easter card created using sketch inspiration from Tuesday Morning Sketches #698. The papers came from the Echo Park Hello Easter 6x6 paper pad, which is almost done, maybe one or two more cards.  I cut the stitched  hexagons using a Crafter's Companion set, used a cut apart for the sentiment and added a few enamel dots.  Another card done and ready to go postal!

Hello and happy Sunday evening, doing a quick drive by post to share a card. I have been wanting to use one of  my macaron dies so I cut some using some of my scraps.  I used sketch inspiration Atlantic Hearts sketch challenge #514,  a piece of DCWV Glitzy card stock, a My Favorite Things piece of Buffalo Plaid paper,  and a Crafter’s Companion stamp for the sentiment.  Another card done, I really need to work on some layouts!
