Happy Birthday

Hello and happy Wednesday, two family members  and one friend birthday today.  I'm sharing a card that I created for my daughter to give to her dad made using some stamps that I hadn't used before.  My stash seems to keep growing at a rate that isn't good for my space.  I used the Tim Holtz Stampers Anonymous Breatstrokes stamp set, some distress oxide inks, cut the word dad using the Cricut Beyond Birthdays cartridge, a Woodware stamp; finished by adding some enamel dots.  I was pleased how the card came out, now to try to use up more of my accumulated stash.

Thank you for your visit, take care and hurry back.

Thankful for Family

Hello and happy Wednesday, just stopping in to do a quick  post to share a layout that I put together using sketch inspiration from Sketch N Scrap sketch # 254.  Pulled the papers from several page kits and 12x12 pads.  I used a a STAMPlorations die to cut the title and some stickers for the sub-title, embellishments all of have been in my stash for quite sometime.  The pictures were taken during a recent trip for a family member's celebration of life.  Another memory documented with a layout!

Happy Birthday

Hello and happy Tuesday and Happy Birthday to one of my scrappin' BFFs Rachelle!  I'm happy to report she received it on time, the mail can be a little unpredictable sometimes.  I was pleased with the outcome, and it received high marks from her as well.  I used mostly scraps of paper to cut the brush using a die, I used a Stephanie Bernard's stitched oval die for the velum, a Pink Bow Ties stamp for the sentiment, added a few gems and it was done!  I am on a personal quest to use more of  the stash of goodies that have been sitting unused. I am sharing this card for the Tic-Tac-Toe Challenge #174; pink, patterned paper and die cuts.

Thank you for your visit, wishing you and yours a pleasant day.

CIU #258 - All About Me

Hello and happy Friday, so looking forward to the weekend!  Today's project share is my design team project for the Cut it Up challenge blog.  The theme for challenge #258 is All About Me; the challenge sponsor is STAMPlorations.

I created my layout using photos taken last Saturday morning during the weekly GirlTrek Super HERo Saturday walk.  We walked in the Museum District in the city and I took a few pictures along the way that has some personal meaning/relation to me.  I used pattern papers from the Vicki Boutin's Color Study 12x12 paper pad and other random papers from my stash.  I cut the flowers using a Momenta die set and the title using some Sizzix dies, finished the LO by adding some journaling and some star gems.

Now that you've seen my project I hope you will visit the Cut it Up challenge blog for more design team inspiration. Create and share your own All About Me project using a die for  a chance to win a $20 gift code from our sponsor.  The challenge starts today and ends Wednesday, August 24, 2022 at noon EST.

Thank you for your visit, stay safe and hurry back soon.

Happy Birthday

Hello and happy Tuesday, I'm stopping by to share a birthday card that I created using sketch inspiration from Atlantic Hearts challenge #484 and some random papers from my stash, I think they may be from DCWV.  I used a Spellbinder's die for the cupcake and an unbranded die for the sentiment; finished the card by adding a few Jillibean Soup star gems.  I like it when a card comes together nicely especially since I have lots of birthdays this month so I will be sharing more birthday cards soon!
