July MemoryDex

 

Hello and happy Monday, as we near the end of June and the beginning of July I wanted to share my month memorydex card.  I used misc. papers from my scrap stash, a Gina Marie gnome die, a CTMH calendar stamp, some gem stars and foam letter stickers.  I used a little wooden embellishment for the nose and a star that I colored red for the 4th of July. I am sharing this memorydex card for the Shopping Our Stash challenge #473.  I usually create at least two memorydex cards per month, one to share and one to keep!

Hello and happy Monday morning as life would have it I started this post on one day and finished it the next day! evening almost night, I'm doing a quick drive by post to share one of the cards that I made over the weekend.  I used sketch inspiration from Tuesday Morning Sketches #662.  I know the link has already closed but I still wanted to share.  I used just scraps of paper my stash, a Thickers sticker for the sentiment and an unbranded balloon die set for the balloons.  I was so busy getting my July birthday cards ready for the mail that I forgot to share.  I did add some enamel dots after I took the picture, this card will be going postal in tomorrow's mail!

Friday Musings

 

Hello and happy Friday, hello weekend.  I'm stopping in to do another quick drive by post, today's card share is going to one of scrappin' besties son.  He is currently in basic camp training for the Air Force, I should have been sending him encouragement cards along the way but as life would have it I didn't.  When putting this card together I used Mojo Monday Sketch #558 and papers from a really old 6x6 paper pad that I picked up on clearance from HL.  Most of the sheets were Army specific but I made it work, used the Cricut Stand and Salute cartridge to cut the fighter jet which I popped on a stitched circle die cut.  Added a few Paper Studio stars and use my DYMO embossing label maker for the sentiment and this card was done and will be going postal later today.  I am sharing this card for the Tic -Tac -Toe Challenge #167, I used the bottom row (metallic, gems and pattern paper).

You Did It

 Hello and happy Wednesday, doing a quick drive by post to share another card.  I put this card together using sketch inspiration from Atlantic Hearts challenge #478, misc. papers from my stash, a Momenta die for the dolphin, a Hero Arts stamp for the sentiment and some gems.  I made this card for a special student that my daughter works with that  is moving on from elementary to middle school; the dolphin is the school's mascot. I am also sharing this card for The Paper Players  challenge #596 - Clean and Simple.

Monday Musings

 

Hello and happy Monday, doing a quick drive by post ass I continue to prepare for an out patient medical procedure this morning.  I hope you had a good weekend celebrating Father’s Day and Juneteenth.  For this card I used sketch inspiration from Sketch N Scrap card sketch  #219.  I used Recollections and Park Lane papers, a Momenta die for the flower, added a few enamel dots and this card was done.

CIU #254 - Magical Creatures

Hello and happy Friday, today's card share is my card for the Cut it Up challenge blog.  The theme for this challenge is Magical Creatures and the sponsor is Oddball Art Co.

When putting this signature simple card together I colored the digital unicorn stamp from our sponsor using some alcohol markers.  I used a Pink & Main stitched die, some Love Nicole papers and finished the card by adding some Bo Bunny enamel hearts.  This card came together quickly but I struggled with the coloring as usual.

Sunday Musings

 It has been forever since I posted and it seems like I am so behind in creating and getting cards in the mail.  One of my scrapping’ besties birthday is tomorrow so I am sharing her card today, I literally just got back from walking to the post office to mail it.  I used sketch inspiration from Atlantic Hearts challenge #476,  papers from the My Mind’s Eye Stella & Rose 6x6 paper pad, a Momenta flower die,  a stamped sentiment and some gems.

CIU #253 - Guys/Father’s Day (Tic Tac Toe)

 Hello and happy Friday, today’s project is my latest project for the Cut it Up challenge blog.  The theme for challenge #253 Guys/Father’s Day (Tic Tac Toe) with two sponsors Lawn Fawn and the ScrapRoom.

When putting my card together I used the bottom row of the board that included a baseball cap, favorite sport (baseball) and Father’s Day.  I used papers from the Tim Holtz Lost and Found 12x12 paper pad, die cuts from the Fathers Day and Nate ABCs Cricut cartridges; a Hero Arts stamp for the sentiment and a few Paper Studio stars finished the card.

Hello June

Hello June and happy hump day!  I am doing a quick check in post as I have been away and haven't had the opportunity to share.  We had a really nice time on our girls trip to Vegas, hope to start scrapbooking the pictures soon; will probably just do a mini-album.  Another warm day in our area so I will need to get my walking done inside today.   Today's project share is a memory dex card that I created for Juneteenth using papers and letter dies from my stash, I used the Stand and Salute cricut cartridge to cut the map.
