Thursday Musings

Hello and happy Thursday afternoon, warm temps in today’s forecast.  Wow, life has just been going wild with everything going on in the world right now which means I haven’t had as much time to play!  You would think that I’d have more time but not me!  I did join a FB live last night where I put together a box and a mini-album, just need to make a few adjustments to the box and I will share it.  Today’s card share uses leftover papers from that project the pattern/focal layer is from the Capitol Chic Designs 6x6 paper pad, the sentiment stamp is from a Hero Arts set and the little pink heart is from my sticker stash.  Another clean and simple card ready to go postal!

Thank you for your visit I hope you will return soon as I hope to get back to creating during these uncertain and everchanging times.  Take care and be safe.

Smile

Hello and happy cloudy Saturday, I started this post about six hours ago and got distracted. So much going I’m having a hard time settling down to really create; it doesn’t help that I have a sinus headache so it’s taking me longer to do anything.  While attempting to organize I came across some more scraps of paper so I decided to make two cards using  sketch inspiration from CAS(E) this sketch #364.  For this card I used a Crafter’s Companion die and some wood veneer stars, another card ready to go postal that will hopefully brighten the recipients day!

Thank you for your visit, wishing you and yours a great weekend and good health.

Hello happy Friday and first day of Spring.  So much going on, I am trying not to be stressed but it’s getting very hard.  Today I am sharing my card for the Spring Fever challenge over at the Cut it Up challenge blog and the sponsor is Digital Delights by Louby Loo.

Today’s card uses the Momenta Tommy& Tilley Paper Design die, mostly scraps of paper, some TH distress ink, a Hero Arts stamp for the sentiment and a few Queen & Co embellishments.  This was my first time using this die and I like it so I will probably use it again soon.  Another card done and about to go postal to someone as we wait out the pandemic!

Sketch #535
For this card, I used the same papers, a Recollections stamp for the sentiment, a MS butterfly punch and some Paper Studio gemstones.

Sketch #536
Finally for the last card, I used an Illustrated Faith stamp set for the sentiment and more Jolees bling! If you are looking for some great inspiration you should visit  Mojo Monday  and subscribe to her blog.  I am sending these cards to people in hospitals and facilities that aren’t allowing visitors right now.

Sunday Musings

Hello and happy Sunday and it has been a really lazy day.  We had church online today so I haven’t been out of the house.  Today I am sharing another LO that I  created for my daughter’s college album. I used pattern papers from an Armed Service Uniform Collection 6x6 paper pad and  some Sticko and TH stickers for the title.   I used lots of intentional stuff on this LO and I have mixed feelings about the end result.  I used a Crafter’s Companion die for the diamonds used as a border and the Stand and Salute Cricut cartridge for the helmet.  I finished the LO with some TH small talk stickers, some Freckled Fawn enamel stars and some Heidi Swapp color shine.  I am a little behind with my creating for National Craft Month since Baby Girl has been home.  Although she is into her own activities and friends, I am cooking and cleaning more!

I am sharing this LO for the  Anything  but a card challenge over at Bitten by the Bug 2 and the Anything Goes challenge #110 over at Cardz TV.

Thank you for your visit wishing you a wonderful week

About Yesterday

Hello and happy Monday, where does the time go?  I’m not sure what happened, maybe it was the time change.  I had my card done but never had the time to create yesterday’s post, it was International Women’s Day and my MIL’s birthday.  So I created this card for her using sketch inspiration from Sketch N Scrap card sketch #165, papers from the Graphic 45 Celebrate 6x6 paper pad, some twine, a CTMH stamp for the sentiment and a Crafter’s Companion die for the flower.  I am sharing this card for the March challenge over at Love to Craft challenge blog.

You Warm My Heart

Hello and happy Monday, the weekend is just not long enough.  Nice  temps yesterday and I came home after dropping Baby Girl off to meet her ride and took a long nap so it has been  a restless night.  It is going to be a long day because day because it is 4 AM, I am awake and I have a late meeting which requires meeting which is an hour away.  Today’s project is another intentional project created using sketch inspiration from CAS(e) this sketch #361, pattern paper from an American Crafts DIY Shop 6x6 paper pad, and a stamp set that I picked up on Saturday at a yard sale.

Thank you for your visit, wishing you and yours a wonderful week.
