Belated Birthday

Hello and happy Tuesday, just dropping in to do a quick drive by post sharing a belated birthday card.  My cousin's birthday was last Wednesday and as life would have it I didn't get her card in the mail in time so I created this one for her.  I used leftover papers from a previous project, a Sizzix tag die set,  Recollections ribbon and enamel heart and an unbranded stamp and die set for the sentiment. I am sharing this card for the anything goes challenge #150 over at Cardz TV.

Thank you for your visit, continue to be safe and come back soon!

CIU #235 - Back to School (Follow a Tutorial)

Happy Friday and hello weekend let the fun begin! Today’s project share is my design team project for the  Cut it Up challenge  blog.  The theme is Back to School - Follow a Tutorial and  the challenge sponsor is DRS Designs and they are offering a $20 gift certificate to their online store.

For my project I created a gift card holder using the technique shown in Sharon’s  YT video.  I used a sheet of pattern paper from the DCWV Year Round 8 1/2 x11 paper stack, a digital stamp from the challenge sponsor  that I colored with pencils even the book pages.  Stamped the inside message using a Crafter’s Companion stamp set and a WeR Memory keepers punch for notch;  finished the holder by adding some rhinestone stars.

I hope you will visit the Cut it Up challenge blog for more design team inspiration and decide to create and share a project using a tutorial for a chance to win some crafty goodness from our sponsor.  The challenge starts today and ends Wednesday, October 6, 2021 at noon EST

Thank you for your visit, wishing you and yours a wonderful weekend.

CIU #234 - Fall is in the Air

Happy Friday and hello weekend.  Today's project share is my card created for the Cut it Up challenge blog challenge #234.  The challenge theme is Fall is in the Air and the sponsor is Hetty Clare, she is offering two digital files from her Esty shop.

For my card I used sketch inspiration from Atlantic Hearts sketch #437, the sponsor's flower cup digital image and colored it with some alcohol markers.  If you know me I struggle with any type of coloring but I still try and I was surprised that I liked how it came out!  Once the image was colored I used a Cutter Bee Square die to cut it out and added it to the pattern paper which is from the DCWV Autumn Stroll  6x6 mat stack.  The sentiment was stamped using two different stamp sets, added some Bo Bunny gems, used  some foam adhesive to add it to the card and finished the card by adding some glimmer mist.

Now that you've seen my project I hope you will visit the Cut it Up challenge blog for more inspiration, create and share your Fall project.  The challenge starts today and ends Wednesday, September 22 at noon EST.

Thank your for your visit, wishing you and yours a wonderful weekend.

Happy Birthday

Hello Friday and happy holiday weekend!  I have been missing in action, as I've said before sometimes life happens and it prevents me from sharing.  I'm doing a quick drive by post to share a birthday card that I  created for my nephew.  I used papers from the My Mind's Eye All Spice 6x6 paper pad, an unbranded die for the stitched circles, some wood veneer stars and a stamp for the sentiment.  I'm sharing this card for challenge #556 over at  The Paper Players.  It is a Tic-Tac-Toe challenge and I used the middle row across (birthday, die-cut/punch, masculine).

Thank you for your visit, take care and be safe as you enjoy the weekend.  I hope you will return soon.
