Happy We Are Friends

Hello weekend, I am being intentional in creating and sharing my cards as a part of my observance of Lent.  When putting together today’s card I used sketch inspiration from Try Stampin’ on Tuesday #445, some adhesive back K&Co paper, a Crafters Companion die for the scallop edge, a Love Nicole stamp for the sentiment, finished by adding a few pearls as embellishments.  I am sharing this card for the Anything Goes challenge #109 over at Cardz TV.

Thank you for your visit, wishing you and yours a wonderful weekend.  I hope you’ll come back soon!

I put my card together using a sentiment die from STAMPlorations,  paper from the DCWV Classic Christmas 12x12 paper pad,  a die from the Spellbinders Deckled Rectangle set, added some sticklers and my card was done!

Now that you have seen my project I hope you will head over to the Cut it Up challenge blog for more design team inspiration.  Create and share a project using your favorite color and a die for a chance to win a gift certificate from one of our sponsors.  The challenge starts today and ends Wednesday, March 4, 2020 at noon EST.

Matching PJs

Hello and happy Wednesday; cloudy skies, seasonal temps and the possibility of flurries tomorrow.  Today's project share is another 8 1/2 x 11 LO created using a picture taken of my daughter and I on Christmas morning.  This is one of those projects where I really pulled out a bunch of miscellaneous items from my stash and loosely followed a Pagemaps sketch and put it together.  This is one of those projects that I just needed to finish because I had taken it to several crops and never worked on it.  I am going to another crop this weekend so I hoping to get more LOs done since cardmaking seems to have taken over.  I'm sharing this LO for the Anything Goes challenge #108 over at Cardz TV and #43 over at Love to Craft.

Thank you for your visit and I hope you'll return soon.  On Friday I will be sharing my latest design team project for the Cut it Up challenge blog.

Hugs & Kisses

Hello and happy rainy Tuesday, I wanted to stay home in bed but as life would have it I couldn't!  I'm hoping  to share different Valentine's cards everyday this week.so today's card share is one where I used only scraps, not sure which paper pad since the cover had been tossed sometime ago.  This is it for that pad as I won't be using anymore papers from the pad and the remaining sheets will go in the donate pile!  I used sketch inspiration from Sketch N Scraps Monthly FB challenges where we were to use sketch #92, polka dots, hearts and words on our card.  In addition to my scraps of paper I used some heart ribbon, a HL puffy heart sticker and a Recollections rubber stamp for the sentiment.  This was the first time I used that particular stamp!  This card was made, signed and sent on the same day!

Thank you for your visit, hope you'll return tomorrow!

Fall Chic

Hello and happy cold Saturday.  Happy Birthday to my dad who will never see this post!  Today we will be heading to JMU to continue celebrating our Baby Girl who has grown into a young woman but will forever be my Baby Girl!  Today I am sharing one of the LOs that I created for her 8 1/2 x 11 album.  I used pictures taken on Thanksgiving Day as she was headed out to dinner with one of her friends.   All the papers used with the exception of the base came from my scrap stash along with the miscellaneous embellishments and I cut the title using the Forever Young Cricut cartridge.  I am sharing this LO for the Anything Goes challenges over at Cards TV #107 and Love to Craft #43.

CIU #193 - Love is in the Air

Happy Friday and hello weekend!  Today's project share is my latest design team project for the  Cut it Up challenge blog. The theme for challenge #193 is Love is in the Air - Valentine’s Day and our sponsor is CAS-uall Fridays.

When putting my first Valentines card for the year together I used sketch inspiration from Tuesday Morning Sketches #540, paper from the Pebbles Be Mine 6x6 paper pad and a Recollections stamp and die set.  I like the card but for some reason I was thinking it needed something else more intentional items from my stash.  I am sharing this card for the My Heart is on Fire challenge #413 over at  Shopping Our Stash.

I hope you will head on over to the  Cut it Up challenge blog for more design team inspiration, create your Valentine’s Day project (using a die) for a chance to win a gift certificate from CAS-uall Fridays.  The challenge starts today and ends on Wednesday, February 19, 2020 at noon EST.

Celebrate You

Hello and happy Wednesday, mild temps and rain showers in our area.  This week has been hard on me emotionally so I haven’t had time to blog which was not my intention this week.  Today I am sharing one of the cards that I created for my daughter, her birthday is tomorrow  but I have been trying to celebrate her all week.   This is something that we did before she left for college so I am trying to maintain it in some form.   I made some 4x4 cards and sent one each day with a small gift, this will be the first she won’t be home for her birthday.  She wanted to come home for the weekend but she has a school commitment on Saturday so we will go up to take her out for dinner.

Loads of Love

Hello and happy Saturday, sunny skies and mild seasonal temps today.  Today I am sharing a card that I made using the Recollections Valentines stamp and die set that I picked up in Michaels last week.   My dad’s birthday is next week so this card is for him from my daughter.  The wood veneer hearts  and cloud die has been in my stash forever.   Now that I am typing this post I am wondering why I didn’t color the truck green, since his truck is green!   I am even more amused at that road that I created!   I am sharing this card for the newly acquired stash challenge over at The Sisterhood of Crafters blog.

Thank you for your visit, I hope you are enjoying your weekend.
