Happy Valentines Day

 

Hello and happy cold Sunday, we only got a dusting of the snow storm so I'm good.  I haven't felt much like walking but I'm planning to bundle up and get it done in a bit.  I'm do another quick drive by post to share another one of the cards that I made to donate to a facility, I hope to finish them today and get them in the mail no later than Tuesday.  For this care I used sketch inspiration from Try Stampin on Tuesday, more papers from an old Stampin Up pad called Love Blossoms, it was gifted to me by one of my scrappin' besties.  I used a sizzix die to the cut the heart and a Cricut CTMH stamp for the sentiment, it came with the Artfully Sent set.  I finished this super quick card by adding some Recollections gems!  I will probably used this sketch again since this card came together so quickly with just using papers from the one pad and a die as the focal point.

CIU #244 - Hard to Say

Hello  Friday, we are gearing up for some more Winter weather in our area.  I just hope it waits until I get home from work. Today’s card share is my design team project for the Cut it Up challenge blog.  The theme is Hard to Say and the sponsor is DRS Designs, they are offering  a $20 gift certificate to their online store.

For my sympathy card I used a digital stamp provided by the vendor, a Darice flower die, pattern paper from a DCWV paper pad, a Pink & Main  stitched rectangle die set; finished the card by adding a little butterfly and a few gems.  Although I like the finished card I am not sure the color is good for a sympathy card.

Friday Musings

 Hello and happy Friday, been extremely busy which means not a lot of play time.  I am doing another drive by post to share another birthday card created using sketch inspiration from Try Stampin’ on Tuesday challenge #538.  I used papers from the My Mind’s Eye Life of the Party 6x6 paper pad, a few unbranded  dies, a Cricut CTMH stamp for the sentiment and some Gina Marie enamel dots. I meant to do some embossing but in my haste to get the card finished I didn’t.  Another card done and more to made as I plan to finish off this paper pad.

Just a Note

 

Hello and happy Sunday evening, the snow has turned into rain. Tomorrow is a holiday so I plan to craft late into the night!   I am back to do a quick drive by post of a card created using sketch inspiration from Atlantic Hearts  challenge #455, this is the final project using papers from the My Mind’s Eye All Spice paper pad.  I cut the flower using a Gina Marie die, a Sizzix die for the greenery, a stamped sentiment and some Paper Studio enamel dots.  Another card done and ready to go postal later this week.

 Good morning, I'm up early playing before I do some chores and worship online.  Today's project share is a LO using a picture taken the day after Christmas which was my parents 59th wedding anniversary. I used sketch inspiration from the January single page challenge over at Stick it Down.  I used papers from my stash, the base and pattern sheet is from  Love Nicole paper, a die cut from the Silhouette design store,  Heddi Swapp sticker a TH small talk sticker and Recollections cork and enamel stickers.

CIU #243 - Anything Goes

 

Hello and happy Friday, we’re bracing ourselves for some pending winter weather.  Today I am sharing my design team project for the Cut it Up challenge blog, the theme for challenge #243 is Anything Goes and the sponsor is Newton”s Nook Designs.

When creating my card I started by using a stencil, one of two intentional stash items that I am using this month. I used the Newton’s Scoots By sets that includes stamps and dies.  I used color pencils, some foam adhesive and a few sequins and this card came together quite nicely!

Wednesday Wanderings

 Hello and happy Wednesday, doing another drive by post to share another birthday card.  It’s going to be a little warmer out today and the forecast calls for the possibility of some snow over the weekend.
 I created this one using sketch inspiration from Sketch N Scrap card sketch #209, more papers from the My Mind’s Eye All Spice 6x6 paper pad, a Sizzix tag die, a Recollections fabric flower and some Bo Bunny gems. The stamped sentiment  is from one of the unbranded stamp sets,  I can’t seem to create birthday cards fast enough, I have four cards going postal tomorrow.

Hello wintry weather Monday, I have been trying to post for the last few days but I just didn't get around to it.  I have a lot going on and I'm just trying to live a less stressful life of gratitude.  Today's project share is my first completed LO for 2022, I actually started it on New Years Eve but didn't finish it until New Years Day.  The pattern papers came from an old Recollections paper pad, I cut the ornaments using the CTMH Cricut Artiste cartridge, fuzzy cut the little tree from a sheet of paper from the pad and the snowflakes are stickers from Paper Studio.  I have some journaling on the back but I will probably at least write the date on the front before I put it in the book.  I am sharing this LO for the Anything Goes challenge #96 over at Challenge YOURself.
