Holiday Greetings

Hello and happy Friday afternoon, can you believe it two card shares in one day!  This card was created using sketch inspiration from Sketch N Scrap's card sketch #134, I used pattern paper from the AC Jolly 6x6 paper pad.  I cut the snowflakes using an unbranded die set and some Recollections glittered paper, stamped the sentiment using  Delicata Silver Shimmer ink and finished the card by adding  some splatters!  I'm sharing this card for the Anything Goes challenge #76 over at Cardz TV.

Take care and hurry back!

Cut it Up #162 - World Hello Day

Hello and happy Friday, more cold weather in our area today with a forecast for some rain tomorrow.  Today I am sharing my latest design team project for the Cut it Up challenge blog,  The theme for challenge #162 is World Hello Day and the sponsor is A Day for Daisies.

I created a card using our sponsor's Penguin Buds digital stamp.   I colored the penguins using some colored pencils and  fluorescent gel pens both items picked up from HL on clearance a few months back.  Once the coloring was done I cut the stamp out using a Pink & Main stitched rectangle die,  stamped a sentiment, added a few gems and spritzed it with some Glimmer Mist.  I hope that my card will inspire you to visit the Cut it Up challenge blog and participate in the World Hello Day challenge that starts today and ends on Wednesday, December 12, 2018 at 12 noon EST.

Thank you for your visit and I hope you'll come back soon!  Wishing you and yours a wonderful weekend.

Wednesday Wanderings

Hello, cold and sunny here in our area today, doing a quick afternoon post.  Today's card share is a card that I created recently but never shared it for the challenge.  It is another one of my signature clean and simple cards and I am loving it; I decided not to add a sentiment to the outside of the card.  I used a Darice snowflake embossing folder, a Sizzix Santa die, some glimmer mist and some wink of stellar.  I'm sharing this card for the Anything Goes challenge #75 over at Cardz TV and the Any Holiday challenge #380 over at Hiding in my Craft Room.

Thanks for your visit and I hope you'll return soon.

Kids Cards

Hello and happy Tuesday, cool and sunny here in the Commonwealth today!  It has been a while since I shared, its not like I haven't been playing, just need to finish some of the projects that I've started.  Today I am doing a drive by post to share the last five cards that I made to be donated and distributed to homeless children.  I used a sketch/method shared by Mary from Cardz TV where you use one sheet of 6x6 paper and make five cards.  I used a sheet of pattern paper from a Doodlebug  6x6 paper pad, card stock from my stash, stamped a sentiment and added some enamel dots and the cards were done!  Sharing these for the Anything Goes challenge #75 over at Cardz TV and #86 over at Always Fun Challenges.

Thank you for your visit and I hope you'll return soon.

Stick it Down

Hello and happy Black Friday, I hope you had an awesomely blessed Thanksgiving.  I'm back today to share the card that I created for this month's card sketch over at Stick it Down.  I am one of  their guest designers for this month so head on over to Stick it Down where you'll see not only my card but lots of inspiration to include other cards,  single and double page layout challenge sketches too!  I created this card for my parent's anniversary which is next month.  I used paper from the Pebbles Be Mine  6x6 paper pad, a Stephanie Bernard dotted heart die, a stamp and a few Queen & Co Pebbles for embellishments.  I used my WeR Memory Keepers Crop-a-dile corner chomper to round the edges of two of the layers.  This card came together quickly and I like it!

Thank you for your visit, wishing you and yours a wonderful weekend.

Wednesday Wanderings

Hello and happy Wednesday, cool temps here in the Commonwealth; traffic was light coming into the office this morning.  Today I am sharing another birthday card that I created using sketch inspiration from Tuesday Morning Sketches #480.  I struggled with the embellishment part so I just might replace that bow with a flower or a different type of bow.  The pattern paper is from the My Mind's Eye Happy Day 6x6 paper pad, I cut the scallop circle with a Spellbinders die,  the sentiment was cut using an unbranded die and the bow was cut using a Crafter's Companion die.  I am sharing this card for the Anything Goes challenge #74 over at Cardz TV.

Thank you for your visit, take care and have a wonderful day.

Hello and happy Monday, warmer temps in the forecast today.  My weekend was fairly busy so I didn't get a chance to post!  My plans changed so I didn't get all of my craft "to do" list done either!  Today I am sharing a birthday card that I created at the request of one of the FB card angels.  I used sketch inspiration from sketch #298 over at CAS(E).   I used paper from the  My Mind's Eye Fancy That 6x6 pad, Recollections gold papers, cut the sweet 16 using my SLICE machine, stamped a sentiment and added a few Recollections rhinestones and this card is ready to go postal.  I'm sharing this card for the Anything Goes challenge #74 over at Cardz TV and the birthday challenge over at Die Cuttin' Divas.

Lady Falcons

Hello and happy rainy Thursday, its cold and windy but no snow flurries in our area for that I'm thankful!  Today's project share is another LO for my daughter's high school album, these are bittersweet as she is in her senior year.  I just used misc. pictures from some of this season's games, I still need to add the journaling on the yellow strips. Everything used has been in my stash for quite some time, the only exception is the volleyball pattern paper that I picked up in HL a few weeks ago. The dimensional stickers came from two different Me&My Big Ideas sticker packs, I cut the title using the Mickey Font and CTMH Cricut cartridges and the doll came from the Teen Scene cartridge. I'm sharing this LO for the Use Your Stuff challenge #337.

Thank you for your visit, hope you'll return soon; I'll be sharing my latest design team project tomorrow.

Saturday Musings

Good morning and happy Saturday, I am doing a quick driveby post as I need to get dressed and out the door!  Today's card share is one hot off the press and created using inspiration from Fall to Layout #96 - Take 2 over at  Palm Trees and Pogo Sticks.  I was looking for a die when I came across this scrap of  pattern paper and decided to use for this card, used more scraps for the border and added it to the card base after I sponged it with some distress ink.  I also added some wink-a-stellar to some of the trees but it's not really visible in the picture.  I am sharing this card for the Anything Goes challenge #73 over at Cardz TV.

Thank you for your visit, wishing you and yours a great day.

Wednesday Wanderings

Hello and happy Wednesday, sunny skies today after lots of rain yesterday.  I am glad the mid-terms are over as I was getting tired of the political ads, texts and speeches!  Today I am sharing a quick drive by post of some post it note holders that I created using inspiration from a video shared by Maymay on YT a few weeks ago; this is not a new project but just one that she did from one of her viewer's suggestions!  I used 110 lb card stock for the base, misc. pattern papers and some CTMH stamps for the sentiments.  The typewriter die is from Sizzix, the stitched squares were cut using unbranded dies, added a few flowers as embellishments and this project was done!

I hope you have a wonderful visit and that you'll stop by again soon.

Card Sharing

Hello and happy rainy Monday, it is cold too after some nice weekend temps.  Today I am sharing some super simple holiday cards that I created at the request of a card angel she is collecting cards to give to homeless  kids. I created these cards after watching Mary's video where she used one sheet of 6x6 paper to create five cards, I decided to just use her measurements but using mostly scraps from the same paper pad.  The paper that  I used  is from an older Recollections 6x6 pad, I think the name of it is Sugar Plum.  I used different stamps for the sentiments and enamel dots from Paper Studio and Recollections.  I have five more cards to make but I will use paper from a different pad. I'm sharing this post for the Anything Goes challenge #72 over at Cardz TV and  the Love to Craft Challenge Blog #28 Anything Goes.

Thank you for your visit, have a marvelous Monday!

Thursday Musings

Hello and happy Thursday, mild seasonal temps after a beautiful weather day for the Trick-or -Treaters yesterday.  We had lots of fun participating in a Trunk or Treat at the church, lots of fun in the parking lot and inside the gym!

Today's card share is another project created after watching another project share from Tracy on YT,  I had to make a few modifications but I am please with the outcome!  The color is a little bit off because of the lighting.  I used more paper from the Love Nicole Time Machine 6x6 paper pad.  I cut the grass, sign post and the ladybug using the Walk in my Garden Cricut cartridge,  used a Love Nicole die for the sentiment, added a few other embellishments and the card was done.  I'm sharing this card the Anything Goes challenge #71 over at Cardz TV. and the Anything Goes challenge #393 over at Die Cuttin' Divas.

Thank you for your visit, hope you'll return tomorrow for design team project share.
