Now that you’ve seen my signature simple gift packaging idea I hope you will visit the Cut it Up challenge blog for more design team inspiration.  Create and share your project for a chance to win 3 designs from our challenge sponsor.  The challenge starts today and ends Wednesday, December 29, 2021 at noon EST.

CIU #240 - Holiday Cards

Hello Friday, let the weekend begin!  Today’s project share is my design team project for challenge #240 at the Cut it Up challenge blog, and the sponsor is Oddball Art Co.

I colored the tree image from our sponsor using color pencils, used some DCWV shimmer paper  and pattern paper from  a Martha Stewart Crafts holiday mat stack; a strip of Recollections burlap ribbon and some star gems and this card was done.  This card came together quickly using papers that have been in my stash for almost ten years, I really have to make a more conscious effort to use my stash!

I hope you will visit the Cut it Up challenge blog for more design team inspiration, create and share your holiday card for a chance to win a $10 gift certificate from our challenge sponsor.  The challenge starts today and ends Wednesday, December  15, 2021 at noon EST.

Merry Christmas

Hello and happy Wednesday, another mild weather day in our area!  I am moving right along with getting my holiday cards done, hoping to get them in the mail by next weekend.  I’ve already sent cards for two different swaps so I just need to finish the cards for family and friends.  Today’s card share may very well be the one that I make  multiples, just need to see if I have the larger paper pad.  I put this card together after watching a Cardz TV YT video,  I used papers from the Craft Smith Say Freeze 6x6 paper pad, cut the deer using the December 25th Cricut cartridge, a Hero Arts stamp for the sentiment and some Gina Marie Designs enamel dots. I was really pleased with how this card came out, I think the paper choice really compliments the design.  I am sharing this card for the Anything Goes challenge #154 over at Cardz TV, thank you Mary for your inspiration!
