Have a Happy You Day

Hello and happy Tuesday, hope you had a wonderful holiday weekend.  Cloudy skies and more rain in the forecast for our area thanks to Alberto.  One of the projects that I started to tackle over the weekend was to organize my scraps, it is going to be a long process!  I recently went to crop with some ladies and one of the other scrappers had her scraps organized and she mentioned if I had mine organized I would probably use them so I have started that monumental task.  So today I am sharing a card that I put together using some scraps from that pile, I was ready to toss that piece of pattern paper but decided to use it one more time!  The sentiment is from the Cardz TV This 'N' That stamp set, I added a few Queen & Co. Hello Sunday, I had lots of things on my to do list this weekend but most of them have not been done!  I guess I will just spend tomorrow doing chores and running errands.  Today I am sharing a card using sketch inspiration from Atlantic Hearts's challenge #265, pattern paper from Bo Bunny's Modern Miss 6x6 paper pad.  The stitched hearts are unbranded dies and the sentiment is from Spellbinders Sentiments 3. Just Saying Hello

Happy Saturday and holiday weekend, more hot weather and the possibility of some rain as a result of tropical storm Alberto!  Today I am sharing a card that I made using inspiration from sketch #454 from  Tuesday Morning Sketches .  The pattern papers came from Momento One Fine Day photo mat pad, I cut the turtle using the Create a Critter cartridge and some Queen & Co. gems.  I am sharing this card for the turtle challenge over at Die Cuttin Divas and the Anything Goes challenge #48 over at Cardz TV.   Thank you for your visit, hope you have an enjoyable holiday weekend.

Wednesday Musings

Hello and happy Wednesday, sunny skies this morning after high winds and heavy rain yesterday.  Today I am sharing a card that I created as part of the Friday Night Chat session over at Scraps of Color.  I was the host last Friday and we completed three different Father's, Day/Male themed projects.  This card was created for the BINGO challenge. I used papers from the Amy Tangerine Ready Set Go 6x6 paper pad, unbranded tool dies, a stamp and some Recollections embellishments.  I'm sharing this card for Anything Goes challenge #48 over at Cardz TV and the Masculine or Father's Day challenge #353 over at Hiding in my Craft Room.  Thank you for your visit, I hope you will return soon.

Hello and happy Thursday, more rain and clouds for our area today.  Today's card share is one created using sketch inspiration from this week's sketch over at Clean & Simple Stamping.  I created this card for a sweet young man who is moving on from elementary to middle school. I used pattern paper from Becky Higgins Project Life Desktop Edition 6x6 paper pad and scraps from my stash.  I cut the owl using the Create-a-Critter 2 cartridge and a sticker for the sentiment and this card was done!  I'm sharing this card for the Anything Goes Challenge #47 over at Cardz TV.  Thank you for your visit, take care and come back soon.

Never Again

Hello and happy Wednesday, cloudy and rain showers in the forecast for our area today.  Today I am sharing the only LO that I actually finished on NSD, it uses pictures taken during a school system sponsored event after the Stoneman Douglas  shooting in Florida.  The pattern paper used for the base came from the DCWV High School paper pad, all other papers and embellishments used were random items from my stash. Happy  Monday, I meant to share over the weekend but I was busy!  I  did some chores and ran a few errands on Saturday and yesterday I spent the whole day with family!  More warm temps in our area today with the possibility of a storm later.  Today's card share is one created using inspiration from sketch #121 over at  Sketch N Scrap, miscellaneous paper scraps from my stash, an unbranded stitched circle die, a Spellbinders butterfly die and some Recollections pearls.  I am sharing this card for the butterfly challenge at Shopping Our Stash and the Super Scraps challenge over at Hiding in my Craft Room.  Thank  you for your visit and I hope you'll return soon.

Hello and happy Friday, another hot day in the forecast.  It's Friday and Mother's Day on Sunday so another busy weekend of things to do and people to see!  Today I am sharing another Mother's Day card created using some random paper and gems, an unbranded tag die and a stamp that I picked up on clearance from HL earlier this year.  I cut the tulips and flower pot from the Cricut Walk in my Garden cartridge.  I'm sharing this card for the following challenges:

Tuesday Musings

Hello and happy Tuesday, another nice sunny day here in our area.  I am still trying to finish my Mother's Day cards in hopes that I can get them in the mail tomorrow!  Today's card share is one that I created using sketch inspiration from last week's sketch from Clean & Simple Stamping, some Doodlebug Design paper and a Lawn Fawn stamp set.  I used some color pencils and wink of stella on the stamps, this is one of those cases where I think the card looks better in person!  Another card created and going post for the FB card angel group.  Take care and have a great day.

Mother's Day
