Sunday Musings

Hello Sunday, welcome Fall!  Today's card share is another birthday card created using sketch inspiration from Atlantic Hearts sketch challenge #647, random papers from my stash along with a pattern piece from My Mind's Eye Hootenanny 6x6 pad,  a Sizzix die for the bag and a balloon die cut and some twine.  This card came together nicely and will be going postal later this month.  I am also sharing this card for the Shopping Our Stash challenge #556 - The Cat is in the Bag.

CIU #339 - It Looks Like Fall

Hello and happy Friday, the weekend has begun!  Today's project share is my design team project for the Cut it Up challenge blog, this weeks challenge is It Looks Like Fall.  Fall is my favorite season and sunflower are one of my favorite flowers!

When putting my card together I used a piece of embossed paper from the Craft Smith Fall Embossed 12x12 paper pad, cut the sunflowers using  the Spellbinders Picture Perfect Autumn die set, and the Tim Holtz Sizzix planter had been cut previously. Added a stamped sentiment and this card was done! I am sharing this card for this month's Anything Goes challenge over at Die Cut Divas and the Anything Goes challenges for weeks #716-717 over at Word Art Wednesday.

Now that you've seen my project, I hope you will visit the Cut it Up challenge blog for more inspiration, create and share your It Looks Like Fall project. The challenge starts today and ends Monday, September 29, 2025 at noon PST.

Thank you for your visit and comment, hurry back again soon!

Sunday Musings

Hello and welcome to the start of a new week!  Today’s project share is a music themed birthday card using sketch inspiration from Atlantic Hearts challenge #646.  I started by pulling some papers from my scrap stash to create the background layer.. I shopped my stash and rediscovered and used a SugarPea Design stamp and die set that I hadn’t used in while; I only had to add a few gems and the card was done.

Thank you for your visit, take care and hurry back soon!

I just pulled random papers from my stash as I was using the plaid sheet as my base, it is from Recollections,  I used a really old Richard Garay stamp and die set for the telephone, added a stamped sentiment and a few gems and this card was done!

I am sharing this card for the September Anything Goes challenge over at Die Cut Divas and Crafts Galore Encore #139.  You too can visit these blogs for more inspiration!

CIU #338 - That's Funny

Hello Friday, although it has been a short work week it has felt long!  Today's project share was created for the Cut it Up challenge blog.  The theme for challenge #338 is That's Funny, the challenge was to create something humorous; and for me that was indeed a challenge!   While sorting and de-cluttering my stash I  found some older never before used Sizzix Tim Holtz stamp and die sets so I decided to use the Cat Chat set.  The embossing folder was a part of the set too,  stamped and cut the cat, popped it on a polaroid die cut and added to the embossed layer. I used some glittered  letter stickers for the sentiment and this card was done!

I am sharing this card for the monthly Anything Goes using a die challenge over at A Cut Above and the Just Us Girls challenge 3791 - Die Week.

I hope that you will visit the Cut it Up challenge blog for more inspiration, create and share your humorous project using a die cut.  The challenge starts today and ends Monday, September15, 2025 at noon PST.

Thank you for your visit, all the best to you and yours.  I hope you will visit again soon.
