Flap Cards
I made these two cards as part of our SistasScrapToo monthly challenge and the original directions were taken from a tutorial on splitcoaststampers with a few variations.

Weekly Update
The weekly updates are turning into whenever I find the time updates. School is open and that means I've got less time for scrappin' but I'm doing as much as time permits. The first two weeks of school has been an adjustment and we're still trying to figure out how to best approach 3rd grade. More homework means less time for extra activities so that meant a schedule modification. On another note, I got a new scrapbooking toy and I'm so excited and I can't wait to start using it. I'll probably do a separate post with my new tool soon.A big thank you and show of appreciation to my sister!

Weekly Update
Fall is near as its not as warm as it has been, I wonder what the next few months will be like. Yesterday was the first day of school and we now have a big third grader. She came home so full of excitement which I hope lasts all year long. She was especially excited about changing classes. We're still trying to get our routine down which is making me totally exhausted and it has only been two days. I haven't been able to get any scrappin' done but I hope to complete some cards and LOs this weekend.

Daddy & Daughter
This is a picture of my DH and DD playing checkers at Cracker Barrel in Fayetteville. This was his birthday and we were headed home after spending the weekend in Fayetteville for my cousin's wedding. Its moments like these that I cherish because my daughter and her dad have a totally different daddy/daughter relationship than the one that I had with my dad when I was a little girl. I wish someone had documented special moments like these with my dad. I hope she appreciates the effort that I put into documenting her memories.
