Thinking of You

Hello Saturday, I am back today sharing a card that was inspired by the weekend challenge over on Stampin' Girls Gone Wild, I shared this card for a challenge over at Embrace Your Art.  I used pattern paper from a very old Making Memories 6x6 pad,  I am not sure I will ever use all of it!  For layering I used the leftover brown paper from the card I shared yesterday.  I cut the sentiment using my George Cricut cartidge (something I haven't done in a long time), added a Recollections flower, ribbon/bow,  some gems and the card was done.  It will be going postal to someone that recently suffered a loss .  Thank you for your visit and enjoy your weekend.

Friday Musings

It's Friday evening almost night and I am suppose to be playing with one of my friends online.  I wanted to share this card that I put together this afternoon using skerch inspiration from sketch #464 over at Mojo Monday.   I had limited items to play with but I wanted to get this card done for one of my co-workers.   The pattern paper came from the DCWV Indian Summer Fall Stack, I cut the sentiment using the George cricut cartridge and added a few Jolee's dimensional stickers and this card was done.  Wishing you and yours a wonderful weekend.

Fabulous

Today I'm sharing a LO that I completed for the ANYtime, ANYwhere Scrapbook Experience that I'm partiicpating in over at Scraps of Color. This is week 5 LO which took me a while to complete just because of life situations. The pictures used in the LO is of me and two of my friends at a recent function hosted by DH's fraternity and the Deltas. It was a fun night of food, fellowship and fun; I spent most of the night at the blackjack table.

Cards Using my Stash

I've been trying to use my stash so I made these cards. I'll be sending them right out in this week's mail. Now that I'm all done with May's birthdays and anniversaries I need to start working on June. Since I've been working on cards I haven't been able to work on my LOs which is putting me even further behind. I just need more hours in a day so I can scrap more!

Aikido Seminar

The pictures used in this LO were taken during DD's aikido training seminar in March. March was busy for DD in relation to her martial arts training since she tested, was promoted to 'brown belt' and her dojo hosted the Mark Larson seminar. She continues to make us proud!

Family Reunion

I created this LO using pictures from a recent family reunion for a posted challenge sketch over on the Cricut MB. I used the cricut for the circles and most everything else was scraps from some misc. paper packs and buttons.

Mother/Daughter Duo

Photobucket
Does this picture look familiar? I've posted it before when we first got back from the Movement and Wellness Expo earlier this year. I finally decided to scrap it as part of a challenge from the Urban Scrappers board. The challenge was to use a black and white picture, two different pattern papers and add some doodling which I think I don't do very well.
