Happy Easter

Good morning, wishing you a wonderful day filled with the blessings of love and happiness!  Today's project share is a card that I put together using sketch inspiration from Tuesday Morning Sketches #750.  I wanted to use a recently created tag that was sitting on my desk so I decided to use it and a another die instead of the oval.  Everything used on the card has been on my stash for some time, this was my first time using the splatter embossing folder.  I shared this card over on IG for the @craftydares, @2crafters1design and the @satmorn challenges. I am also sharing this card for the Spring has Sprung challenge #518 over at Shopping Our Stash.

Thank you for your visit, continue to be safe and hurry back again soon!

Palm Sunday

Hello and happy Palm Sunday, today's card share is another Easter card created using sketch inspiration from Sketch N Scrap card sketch #262.  I used mostly paper scraps, an embossing folder, an EK Success edge punch, cut the basket using an Echo Park die and a KS Crafts die set for the remaining die cuts. Added a stamped sentiment and a few gems and this card was done, I had a hard time getting a good picture; it does look better in person!

Thank  you for your visit, take care and hurry back soon.

CIU #300 - Happy Birthday

Hello Friday and let the weekend begin!  Today at the Cut it Up challenge blog we are celebrating our 300th challenge by sharing our birthday themed projects.

When creating my project I decided to step out of my comfort zone by doing some things a little different from my usual clean and simple style. So off to YT University for some ideas that included using some of my unused stash!  I created the background by inking some clouds, adding some word stamping and finally  some splatter.  I used some TH salvaged patina distress ink and splatter.  I even made my own cloud stencil. Cut the balloons, added some burlap twine, made a bow and added to the card with some adhesive foam. The word happy was leftover from a previous project, added a few gems and the card was done!  I am sharing this card for the Anything Goes challenge #121 over at Crafts Galore  and the monthly challenge over at Die Cut Divas.

I hope that you will visit the Cut it Up challenge blog for more design team inspiration  as we have some guest designers that have joined us for our 300th challenge.  Create and share your birthday themed project, the challenge starts today and ends Wednesday, April 3, 2024 at noon PST.

Thanks for your visit,  take care and hurry back soon.

MFT Monday

Hello Monday, doing a quick drive by post.  I am sharing a card for the March Monday MFT challenge being hosted on YT.  I don't have a YT channel so I will just share over on IG.  I don't have a lot of My Favorite Things products in my stash but I wanted to play along in an effort to use what I have!  I used sketch inspiration from Try A Sketch on Tuesday challenge #642 and misc. papers from my scrap stash.  I used the Full Support die and the Crush Cancer stamp set from My Favorite Things, finished by adding some bling.   This card will go into my stash to be used later.

Thank you for your visit, wishing you and yours a wonderful week.  I hope you will visit again soon.

CIU #299 - Colors of Spring

Hello Friday, let the weekend begin.  Today's project share is my design team project for the Cut it Up challenge blog. I created this mini slim line card for the Colors of Spring challenge #299.

When putting this card I used a Spellbinders embossing folder called Bubble Wrap, it has been in my stash for many years and this was my first time using it.  I am having a hard time parting with stuff even though I am not  or haven't used them.  The remaining die cuts came  from the Spellbinders Open House Door Die Collection.  Finishing by adding some gems in the flower centers.  I am sharing this card for challenge #164 Cozy over at Crafting Happiness and challenge #60 over at Never Before Used Stuff.

Please visit the Cut it Up challenge blog for more inspiration, create and share your Colors of Spring project.  The challenge starts today and ends on March 20, 2024 at noon PST.

Thank you for your visit, be safe and hurry back soon!

Hello Wednesday, I have been trying to share for the last few days but as life would have it I am just squeezing in the time.  Today's card share was created using inspiration from Atlantic Hearts sketch challenge #567 and more miscellaneous papers from my many scraps.  I cut the clover using the Create a Critter  2 Cricut cartridge, used a Fiskars stamp for the sentiment and finished by adding some sequins.  I am sharing this card for the It's Not Easy Being Green challenge #516 over at Shopping Our Stash.

Thank you for your visit, continue to be safe and hurry back soon.

You're a Classic

It's Saturday night and I am back with my second share of the day.  This card was created using inspiration from one of the design team members over on Just Us Girls, the theme for challenge #716 was to CASE a one of their design team members.  Again I reached for papers that was used from recent projects with the exception of the vinyl that I used for the records.  Now that I am thinking about I do have some mirrored cardstock that I could have used.  The stamp and die set is an unbranded set that I had in my stash.  I also embossed the white layer with a sheet music folder which is hard to see in the picture even though I did ink it lightly.  This is one of those cards that look better in person.  I also shred this card for the music themed challenge hosted by 2crafters1 design over on YT and IG.

Continue to be safe and enjoy the rest of your weekend.

It's Your Happy Day

Hello Saturday, it's pouring buckets of rain so I will only go out as necessary!  Hopefully I can get a lot of play time in and schedule some blog post.  I'm doing a quick post to share a card that I created using sketch inspiration from Try a Sketch on Tuesday challenge #641.  I used mostly random papers from my scrap stash, the pattern piece came from a Pink Fresh Studio 6x6 paper pad.  I shared this card on IG for the @craftydares challenge which was to include some embossing and a cupcake.   Another card done, using my stash and ready to go postal soon.

Thank you for your visit, stay safe and hurry back soon!
