Family Dance Party
Happy Friday, I am so sleepy. I came into work late because I volunteered at my daughter's school and now I'm ready for a nap! Today's LO is another LO for our reunion album and it is of our Saturday Night dance party! I also submitted this LO for a challenge posted over at Stampin' Dymonz Scrap Shack. The challenge was to complete a LO using only three colors of paper, a tag with a stamped image and a diecut. All items used were from my stash that included three different cricut cartridges, an old stamp from the $1 bin at Michaels, some ribbon, a border punch and a button

Hello Friday
The weekend is here and I've been busy as a "bee" so I haven't had much time for scrappin' which isn't making me very happy. I'm gearing up for another family reunion (sorta) next Saturday and since I'm in charge of decorating I probably won't have a chance to even start scrappin the pictures from the last reunion. So today I'm sharing another card that I made this week. One of my friends recently purchased her first home so I made this card for her. The inspiration for the card was from a sketch posted on Okieladybug's Scrap N' More. All the paper was from my scraps, the sentiment from one of the studio G $1 bin stamps and the key was cut using the Gypsy Wanderings cartridge. Have a blessed weekend.

Family Ties
This is the first LO that I created using pictures from a recent family reunion in Chicago last month. I also created this LO for a challenge posted over on the Cricut MB. I cut the butterfly using the wrap from a cricut cartridge and colored it with alcohol inks; this was my first time using alcohol inks. These pictures were taken for the Saturday evening banquet where the requested attire was African. I used pictures of my DD, DH and MIL.
