Happy Birthday Rachelle

Hello and happy Sunday doing a drive by post to share a card that I created for one of my crafting friends. I am not sure why but I almost forgot so she'll be getting her card late. I created the envelope shaped card using the Spellbinders Envelope of Wonder die set.  l used a MS punch for the butterflies and added gems to some of the flowers and stamped the sentiment. This is one of those sets that requires time and patience; not sure when I will use it again!

I shared this card over on IG for a shaped  card challenge and for the Tic Tac Toe challenge #299. I used the right diagonal row (insects, gems, free).

Thank you for your visit,  continue to be safe and hurry back again soon.

CIU #206 - Shaped Card

Hello Friday, let the weekend begin!   Today’s card share is my latest design team project share for the Cut it Up challenge blog, the theme for challenge #206 is Shaped card and our sponsor is CAS-UAL Fridays Stamps.

As the start of school nears I decided to create an apple shaped card which is a file from the Silhouette Design store.  I really need to use my toys more but it is so hard when you have so much stuff in your stash!  I couldn’t find the a bright red piece of paper that I wanted to use so I went to an old paper pad, the DCWV Grade School paper stack which has been in my stash for a long time.  I cut a small tag, added the stamped sentiment using a Recollections stamp, attached it to the card with a little piece of twine and the card was done!

Now that you’ve seen my project, I hope you will head over to the Cut it Up challenge blog for more design team inspiration.  Create and share your shaped card for a chance to win a $20 gift certificate from our sponsor. The challenge starts today and ends Wednesday, August 15, 2020 at noon EST.

Thank you for your visit, stay safe as you enjoy your weekend.
