CIU #282 - Look Up in the Sky

 

Hello and happy Friday, looking forward to getting a lot done this weekend.  Today’s project share is  my latest design team project for the Cut it Up challenge blog. This week’s theme is Look Up in the Sky, I created a mini slimline card.  I used scraps of paper from my never ending stash of scraps, an Echo Park kite die, some stitched cloud dies (recently gifted to me from another crafter) and a Sizzix stamp for the sentiment(first time using it). I inked the clouds and added some dimensional adhesive to the sentiment. I really like how this card came together, makes the perfect encouragement card.

Wednesday Musings

 

Hello Wednesday, time really does fly.  I am awake but wish I was asleep, meant to share yesterday but as life would have it I wasn’t able.  Today’s card share was created using sketch inspiration from sketch #245 over at Sketch N Scrap.  The papers came from the Damask Love Girl Power paper pad, added some flowers from my stash and a stamped sentiment and the card was done!

Celebrate

 Wow, it has been a week since I shared, way too much going on and to top it off I don’t feel well.  I have to push through and get going about my day.  Today’s card was created using sketch inspiration from Tuesday Morning Sketches #714.  The  plan is to create as many holiday cards as possible this month.  The pattern paper came from the American Crafts Hot Cocoa 6x6 paper pad, the wood veneer trees have been in my stash for years, used a  Crafter’s Companion die set to cut the triangles; stamped the sentiment and added a few gems and the card was done!

CIU #281 - Hello Sunshine

 

Hello and happy Friday, welcome to the weekend.  I have been feeling a little under the weather so I haven't posted much this week; I feel like I'm falling apart!  Today's project share is a super simple but cute card created for the Cut it Up challenge blog.  The theme for challenge #281 is Hello Sunshine and because I couldn't find the die that I originally planned to use I had to re-think my project.  I used a sheet of paper from the Photoplay Summer Daydreams 6x6 paper pad, a Crafter' Companion window die, a Pink & Main die for the sun and a Sizzix die for the sunglasses.  Finished the card by adding a few enamel dots and a Hero Arts stamp set for the sentiment.

Hello and happy Saturday, still cloudy and overcast in our area today; we may get some showers later. Today I  sharing a card created using sketch inspiration from Tuesday Morning Sketches challenge #712, used more papers from the Heidi Swapp Old School paper pad.  I cut the butterfly using an older Spellbinder's die set, used a Hero Arts stamp set for the sentiment and finished the card by adding some Stampin' Up gems.  Not sure you can see it in the picture but I did add some spray walnut ink to the butterfly.  I am sharing this card for the June Anything Goes #143 over at Crafting Happiness Challenges.

Good morning rainy Thursday first full day of Summer.  Doing another drive by post to share a card that I created using more of my stash!  I used a Honey Bee Stamps Cover Plate to cut the word Happy to use as the focal sentiment.  Stamped the word birthday using a Paper Studio stamp, added a few sequins and this card was done!  I am sharing this card for the Shopping Our Stash challenge #499 Sentimentally Yours. I still have lots of unused items that I need to used so I can decide whether I should keep them!
