Love You Much

Hello and happy Tuesday, it's my son's birthday and since his card has already gone postal I am sharing another Valentine's Day card instead.  I hope he enjoys his special day and I pray that God continues to bestow bountiful blessing upon him everyday.  I used Mojo Monday's sketch #482 for inspiration, and it's on Tuesday and I've used the sketch already!  The pattern paper from a Recollections  With Love 6x6 pad, a doily, cut the heart using my SLICE machine, picked the stamp up on clearance from HL last year and added a few Recollections enamel dots and this card was done.  I am sharing this card for the any holiday challenge 286 over at Hiding in My Craft Room.

Just Because

Hello and happy Monday, still not feeling up to par but I'm pressing on.  We have some wet weather in the forecast today with some snow flurries in some areas north of us.  Today I am sharing some post it note holders that I made as a thank you gift for an event that I attended on Saturday.  I watched Markisa's video over at Sweet Papery Treasures for inspiration for this project, she is an awesome crafter.  All items used for this project was in my stash with the exception of the mini pens which came I purchased from Office Depot.  I am sharing this project for the no cards allowed challenge over at PDE Linky Party.  Take care, stay warm and be safe.

Loss of a Pet

Hello Saturday, we are back to winter temps after a few days of milder temps!  It's the weekend, what do you have planned?  I am going to a sip and paint gathering with some of the ladies from one of the organizations that I belong too.  I will spend the rest of the time with family, chores and of course I hope I get to play.  Today I am sharing a card that I put together for someone that recently lost their pet, I used sketch inspiration from sketch #196 from Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge.  The papers came from my scrap stash, I cut the paw using the Mickey and Friends cricut cartridge and used a Hero Arts stamps for the sentiment and this card was done!  Thank you for your visit and I hope you'll come back again soon.

Camping Trip

Hello and happy Friday.  Today I am sharing the final LO for our daughter's freshmen year in high school.  One of the school's requirements for graduation is that they attend a week long camping trip.  I tell you we struggled with this requirement since she does not care for extended outdoor activity but she made it and made us proud because we didn't get a call saying we needed to come get her!  The experience was good but I am not sure she'd it again.  I used mostly stickers to embellish the LO and I cut the little fox with the Create-a-Critter. cricut cartridge.  I am so happy to have finally finished documenting some of her school memories from last year!  Take care and thank you for your visit.

Tag Time

Hello and happy Saturday, I was up until about 1:30 this morning and I have been awake for several hours trying to go back to sleep.  It's Saturday I need to be asleep but since I can't I grabbed my iPad to share this post!  Today I am sharing a tag, one of the projects that I was working on last night/this morning.  When I saw challenge #9 over at Perfectly Created Chaos, I went straight to my scrap stash and started working on some projects.  Using black and white and one additional color can generate lot of projects so I will be sharing more.  On the tag I used pattern paper from Paper Stack, a few enamel dots, heat embossed the sentiment and an envelope cut using the Doodlecharms cricut cartridge the tag was done.  I am also sharing this tag for the PDE Linky Party challenge #156.  Thank you for your visit, I hope you have a wonderful weekend.

Friday Musings

Hello and happy Friday, cloudy and rainy in our area.  Today I am sharing a birthday card that I put together using inspiration from sketch #386 over at Tuesday Morning Sketches.  I used paper from Teresa Collins Urban Market 6x6 paper pad, cut the word happy using the Create-a-Friend cricut cartridge, stamped the word birthday on a banner that I cut with my cuttlebug and a few AC wood veneer stars completes this card.  Two of the layers were cut using Pink & Main stitched rectangle dies and looking at the picture I need to be mindful of my die placement!  Take care and enjoy your weekend.

You Fill My Heart

Hello and happy Thursday, another day of mild winter temps (not too cold).  So much going on, can't seem to get caught up or catch my footing.  Today I am sharing a card that I put together using sketch inspiration from challenge #31 over at Paper Play Sketches.  I used some studio G paper from my stash along with some pattern paper from one of the 6x6 that I received in RAK recently.  I'll note the name later as I will be using it to make more Valentines Day cards.  The stamp is from a Recollections set (I think) and the mini hearts were punched.  I am also sharing this card for challenge #106 -Add a Heart  over at Crafty Gals Corner.  Take care and have a terrific Thursday.

Dance LO

Hello and happy Sunday, this weather is wreaking havoc on my sinuses.  Today I am sharing another LO created for my daughter's high school album.  I really like how it came out and it brings me just a little closer to finish her 9th grade LOs.  The LO usues pictures taken as she was dropped off for the homecoming dance, she didn't want me to really go inside.  I cut the dressform and balloons with my Expression,  the letters came from Tuesday Moring and the flowers from Recollections.  I am sharing this LO for the Buttons, Bling and Brads challenge #326 over at Lasting Memories,   Everything used on the LO including the buttons and bling had been in my stash for a while.  Thanking you for your visit,  wishing you and yours a wonderful week.

Holiday Weekend

Hello Saturday, I slept in a little this morning since I was up well past midnight and I am still feeling like I need to be in bed!  We have a wintry mix in some areas but not so much here so we won't be in the house all day like last Saturday.    I need to get moving so I won't be rushed when I have to go out today.  Today I am sharing another birthday card that I put together using sketch inspiration from sketch #204 from  CAS(E).   I also used one of the Richard Garay stamp/die sets that I picked up on clearance at HL earlier this week, Studio G pattern paper, sequins and a sentiment.  Take care and enjoy your holiday weekend.

Hello Thursday, first day of school this week due to inclement weather, unseasonably warm temps today and my daughter has early dismissal (teacher work day)!  Today I am sharing another birthday card, I have been using my scraps and being inspired by clean and simple sketches.  I put this card together using sketch #103 from Fab Friday, paper from an almost done Pink Paislee 6x6 pad, stamp and a dimensional flower from Paper House; everything used has been in my stash for sometime!  Take care and enjoy your day.

Get Well Soon

Hello and happy Wednesday, another inclement weather day for the children in our school district.  We had some rain in our area over night and the temps are above freezing so they should be able to go back to school tomorrow.  Today I am sharing a get well card that I put together for my neighbor using sketch inspiration from  Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge  #194.  I used more paper scraps from my stash, a Pink Bow Tie stamp, MS edge punch and a few gems and a few gems and I had another signature and clean and simple card done.

Yesterday was my birthday so I went to Hobby Lobby with my DH after suggesting he go there for some vigal candles.  I am happy to report I spent less than $10 on clearance items.  I bought items to use on projects I am or will be working on soon!  I received some goodies for gifts so I didn't need to purchase anything and neither did I watch the craft show on HSN.  Thank you for your visit and I hope you'll come back soon as I strive to spend less and create more!

Hello and happy Tuesday, more snow so no school again today.  Today I am sharing another card that I put together using inspiration from card sketch #89 from Sketch N Scrap, I used more paper from my mountain of scraps,  an embossing folder, a banner, circle and scallop circle die.  I know that I sometimes forget birthdays  so I made this card  to add to my stash! I seem to be doing okay with my challenges so far this year, it is only the 10th day so we'll see where I am next month this time!  I am also sharing this card for challenge #283 - Freestyle over at Hiding in my Craft Room.  Thank you for your visit and I hope you'll come back again soon!

Volleyball LO

Hello Monday, we still have snow so no school today.  We did not go out  of the house at all yesterday,  when I wasn't eating or lying down I played!  Today I am sharing my first LO for 2017, I have the same goal as the last few years; one LO per week!  I am also back on my challenge of spending less or rather only buying what is needed.  This LO uses pictures from one of our daughter's volleyball games last fall.  After taking the picture I realized I should have added her number and the name of the team they were playing.  I used Thickers for the title and Recollections, Studio 112 and Life's Little Occasions stickers.  The  paper is from the DCWV High School paper stack which by the way includes sports pages but not the ones I need!  Another memory documented, on to the next!

Snow Day

Hello Saturday, we are having a snow day today not a lot of movement in my house!  I thought I'd feel up to really scrapping today but I am moving slow.  In honor of our first snow of 2017 I just finished this card using sketch #478 from  Mojo Monday.   I used miscellaneous papers from my scrap stash along with some stickers from a Me & My Big Idea pack that has been in my stash for a long time and  a snowflake that was gifted to me!  I have got to put a dent in my stash because I starting to feel really bad.  Oh well moving right along, I did commit myself to several challenges so maybe that will help.  Take care and enjoy the rest of your weekend.

Scripture Art Journal

Hello Thursday, most everyone around here is all abuzz because they are calling for some snow in the next few days.  I'm not looking forward to it so I am in denial or maybe I'll get to stay in since I worked all through the holiday season!   Today I am sharing my first page from my 2017 scripture art journal, I joined MayMay's Hide His Word in my heArt FB group in 2015 but did not complete my journal so I am starting again this year and hoping that I will follow through.  I still need to do my cover but  that is not what is most important to me right now.  I used a cut from the Silhouette store and just added some stickles.  Take care and be safe.

Best Wishes

Hello and happy first Wednesday of 2017, I meant to share yesterday but as life would have it I didn't get a chance to post.  So today I am sharing a totally different project from the one that I had plan to share yesterday.  I need several birthday cards for this month so last night I decided to start making them, I started out with a sketch but ventured in another direction.  The cake is a sizzix stamp/die from Stephanie  Barnard (I think) and the sentiment is a Hero Arts stamp.   I used paper from the Echo Park Celebrations 6x6 pad  that I picked up from TM when one of my crafty friends spoke about its usefulness!   I am sharing this card for this week's Freestyle challenge over at Hiding in my Craft Room.  Take care and I hope you are having a wonderful Wednesday!
