Happy 90th Birthday

Hello and happy sunny Thursday more nice weather which means more sinus issues for those of us that have allergies.  Today's drive by post is a card created using sketch inspiration from The Sketchy Challenges #173.  I used papers from the American Crafts SparkleBerry Ink 6x6 paper pad that I picked up on clearance last year.  I used two different Spellbinders dies for the sentiment, circle and numbers, finished the card by adding a few Queen & Co. gems.  This card has already gone postal, not sure it will make it to the recipient who celebrates her 90th birthday today.  I am sharing this card for the anything goes challenge #137 over at Cardz TV.

Shaker Card

Hello and happy Thursday, nice weather day today in our area.  I'm doing a drive by post as I'm not really sure why I haven't shared since last Saturday.  This is one of the cards that I created over the weekend for a challenge on a FB group but didn't realize until I was ready to share it I had used the wrong sentiment! The card uses some a sheet of Stampin' Up pattern paper that was gifted to me, cut the scallop frame  and sentiment using some DCWV cardstock , some Recollections shaker bits and a Crafter's Companion die for the sentiment!  I am sharing this card for the Anything Goes challenge #135 over at Cardz TV.

Thank you for your visit, hope you will return soon.  Take care.

Happy 21st Birthday

Hello Wednesday, nice temps in today's forecast so I'll be taking a walk during lunch.. Today's quick drive by post is a card that I created for my daughter to give to one of her male friends.  I always struggle with male cards but I usually just try to change the paper colors and not over embellish it.  I used a sketch from one of my FB groups and some paper from the Graphic 45 Time to Celebrate 6x6 paper pad, stamped a sentiment,  punched a few starts and die cut a balloon and the numbers and the card was done! I'm sharing this card for the Anything Goes challenge #131 over at Cardz TV.

Thank you for your visit, continue to be safe and hurry back soon!

Joy Crafting

Hello Monday, another beautiful weather day in the forecast.  Today I am sharing what should have been my Saturday post but as life would have it I didn't get around to doing it! Today's card share is my last installment for the Joy Crafting with Lady Kre challenge, it was a personal challenge that she extended to the YT and Instagram community.  I recently picked up this Sizzix stamp/die set on one of my Tuesday Morning visits and decided to use it sooner rather than later!  I paired the sentiment with a piece of pattern paper from the American Crafts Jolly 6x6 paper pad, a snowflake die and some enamel dots.  I'm sharing this card for the Anything Goes challenge #127 over at Cardz TV.

Thank you for your visit, wishing you and yours a safe and wonderful week.

Just For You

Hello  and happy Tuesday, stopping in to do another drive by post.  Today’s project share was created using more scraps from my stash and sketch inspiration shared on the Sketch and Scrap FB group where they share different challenges from the blog.  The flowers were cut using a Love Nicole die for the larger one and a Sizzix die for the smaller two.  The sentiment was cut unsung a De’sire die set that I picked up from TM earlier this year and the little gemstones were part of a prize pack.  I am working on cards that will be going to residents in facilities that can’t have visitors right now, I hope to have all 20 done before the end of the week.

Thank you for your visit, I hope you will return soon.  Be safe and stay healthy as you stay home.

Hugs & Kisses

Hello and happy rainy Tuesday, I wanted to stay home in bed but as life would have it I couldn't!  I'm hoping  to share different Valentine's cards everyday this week.so today's card share is one where I used only scraps, not sure which paper pad since the cover had been tossed sometime ago.  This is it for that pad as I won't be using anymore papers from the pad and the remaining sheets will go in the donate pile!  I used sketch inspiration from Sketch N Scraps Monthly FB challenges where we were to use sketch #92, polka dots, hearts and words on our card.  In addition to my scraps of paper I used some heart ribbon, a HL puffy heart sticker and a Recollections rubber stamp for the sentiment.  This was the first time I used that particular stamp!  This card was made, signed and sent on the same day!

Thank you for your visit, hope you'll return tomorrow!

Thank You

Hello and happy Thursday afternoon, cool and windy after yesterday's rain.  Today I am doing a quick drive by post to share a card that I put together using inspiration from one of the monthly FB challenges from Sketch and Scrap.  I am getting ready for a little weekend getaway so I am trying to get as much done as possible.  I am happy to report that used more of the Jen Hadfield paper and epherma which really makes for some clean and simple cards.  I really like this 6x6 paper pad so I might even buy the 12x12 pad for LOs even though I really don't need anymore paper!

Thank you for your visit, I hope you'll return tomorrow for my design team project for the Cut it Up challenge blog.

Take a Chill Pill

Hello and happy Tuesday today's forecast calls for sunny skies, less wind and extremely cold temps.    Today's project share is a get well card that was requested by one of the card angel members. She requested something lighthearted for her father who is a general contractor and recently fell off a roof.   The pattern piece of paper came from the Love Nicole Time Machine 6x6 paper pad, I used  the Recollections Cheeky Modern Pop Chill Pill  stamp and die kit for the sentiment and pill, added a few enamel dots and this card was done!  Although I've had this stamp and die set in my stash for at least six months this was my first time using it!  I'm sharing this card for the Anything New challenge #113 over at Dies R Us.

Friends

Hello and happy Thursday, two hour school delay this morning and cloudy skies in our area today. Speaking of school I'm sharing another LO created for one of Baby Girl's albums.  I am trying to complete at least five more LOs by the end of the year.  This LO uses sketch inspiration from one of the challenges from the Merry & Bright online crop hosted on FB by Sketch N Scrap.  Most of the papers used came from an old paper pad that I picked up in TM a few years ago.  I struggled with the LO sketch but I think that it came out fine, I tried to pull some of the colors from both of their clothing.  The base of the LO has embossed dots, I cut the stitched circles for the title using an unbranded die set, used Love Nicole letter dies, painted the butterfly and added some wink a stellar to the stars.  Another LO done with the exception of the journaling which will be hidden.

Take care and hurry back tomorrow for my latest design team project.

Tuesday Musings

Hello and happy Tuesday, another nice sunny day here in our area.  I am still trying to finish my Mother's Day cards in hopes that I can get them in the mail tomorrow!  Today's card share is one that I created using sketch inspiration from last week's sketch from Clean & Simple Stamping, some Doodlebug Design paper and a Lawn Fawn stamp set.  I used some color pencils and wink of stella on the stamps, this is one of those cases where I think the card looks better in person!  Another card created and going post for the FB card angel group.  Take care and have a great day.

Hello and happy Friday, it's going to be a long day!  I have been awake since 3 AM, got out of bed and went downstairs, not sure why but I am regretting it right about now.  One of the things that I did was put this card together, using this week's skerch from Clean & Simple Stamping.  I used more paper from the Nicole Love Dream Machine 6x6 paper pad along with some embellishments that have been in my stash for a long time.  This card was created for the FB card angel group and will be going postal today.  I am sharing this card for the Anything Goes Challenge #39 over at  Cardz TV.  Thank you for your visit, have a wonderful weekend!
