Tuesday Musings

Hello and happy Tuesday, I'm back today to share another one of my clean and simple signature cards!  We are in the last week of June with July coming in on Saturday so I decided to put together a few 4th of July cards.  The blue pattern paper came from a Martha Stewart Seasonal pad that I picked up in Tuesday Morning recently, the star was cut using the Summer Celebrations cricut cartridge using a sheet of the white pearl finish linen paper from Dollar Tree, added some glimmer mist to the red layer but you can't see it in the picture and finished the card by adding some mini starts from Nicole. I'm sharing this card for the First and Third Challenge 4th of July challenge over at SOC; the Any Holiday Challenge #306 over at Hiding in my Craft Room and the Cardz TV Card Crazy Crafters Anything Goes Challenge #4.  Thank you for your visit and I hope you'll come back again soon!

Babies Are a Blessing

Hello and happy Sunday, I am back today to share another card.  I created today's card for one of my coworkers, I didn't attend the shower yesterday so I will take her gift and card to work tomorrow.  The sketch inspiration for this card came from sketch #227 over at CAS(E) This Sketch.  I used her colors and theme, a cuttlebug embossing folder, cut the owl from the Create a Critter cricut cartridge and a Momenta stamp for the sentiment.  Wishing you and yours a wonderful week.

Wednesday Musings

Hello and happy Wednesday, the first day of summer and it is going to be a scorcher here.  The heat is real I won't even get into it, I'm counting down to fall and cooler temps!  I'm back today to share a card that I created to include with a small RAK that I  sent to another crafter.   The card sketch and size was from one of the last Mojo Monday's challenges, I was really sad to see  the ending of their challenges. I really like how this card came out,  don't remember which My Mind's Eyes 6x6 paper pad I used.  I'm continuing to use my stash, made a few purchases but I'm back on my no craft spending.  Thank you for your visit have a wonderful Wednesday.

Thursday Musings

Hello and happy Thursday, sunny outside with calls for more rain later today.  Today I am sharing a super simple Father's Day card that I put together using the  1-2-3 Cards You Tube video from Organized and Creative Mom,  she is a Creative Memories representative so she uses their products in her videos. You use one sentiment, two shapes and three embellishments and your card is done and this card went postal today!  I used a kraft card base,  paper scraps from my stash, some flat embellishments, cut the mustache with the CTMH Artiste cricut cartridge and a stamped sentiment.   I'm sharing this card for the Father's Day challenge over at  Bitten by the Bug 2.  Thank you for your visit, please come again soon.

Graduation

Hello and happy Monday, I really meant to share this post yesterday but as time would have it I didn't get around to it.  I really thought I'd have lots of time since DH has been out of town but for some reason I've been busier.  This is the last week in school for the public school localities and the last of the graduation ceremonies.  Today I am sharing a graduation card that I put together for my co-worker's daughter using her school's colors and a star embossing folder that I was recently gifted by one of my scrapping BFFs!  The sketch inspiration came from sketch #225 over at CAS(E),  I cut the cap using the Locker Talk cricut cartridge and the year using the Days and Dates cartridge.  Thank you for your visit and I hope you'll come back again soon!

Friday Musings

Hello and happy Friday, I am so enjoying the mild temps not looking forward  the forecast for hotter temps this weekend.  Today I am sharing a birthday card that I put together after watching one of Mary videos from Cardz TV so I'm sharing it for their Card Crazy Crafters Anything Goes Challenge #3.  I was so tickled that I had everything that she used on her card with the exception of the sentiment stamp!  I really like how it came out and it has already gone postal to the recipient.  I used the All Dressed Up paper pad from DCWV and the Pagoda cricut cartridge for the panda, the googly eyes were in my stash and the sentiment stamp came from one of the stamp sets included with the Artfully Sent cricut cartridge.  Thank you for your visit, have a wonderful weekend.
