Father’s Day Card

Hello and happy cloudy Sunday, a new day and week; another day of gratitude. Today”s project is a card created using sketch inspiration from Atlantic Hearts sketch challenge #527 and papers from the My Mind’s Eye Hey Mister paper pad.  The metallic piece of paper came from a DCWV paper pad, I used a Sizzix die for the word happy and a Lawn Fawn stamp to complete the sentiment.  Added a few pearl embellishments and this card was done!

Thank you for your visit, continue to be safe and hurry back soon.

The sentiment is a Heidi Swapp puffily sticker, used my new label maker again and a Crafter’s Companion tree die.  I finished the LO by adding different hearts from my stash.  Another project done and more pictures scrapped, on to the next project!

Father’s Day

Hello and happy Sunday, the start of a new week a chance to do and be better.  Today’s project share is a layout created  using sketch inspiration from Sketch N Scrap challenge #230 and some Tim Holtz and Paper Studio papers.  I cut the tittle using the Cricut Artiste CTMH cartridge, to heart die cuts and   some  Tim Holtz  small talk stickers.  I even added some white paint splatters which you can’t really see in the picture.  This layout is done, I was thinking it needed something else but the only other thing that I am going to add is the journaling.

Thank you for your visit and continue to be safe.  I hope you will visit again soon.

Daddy's Love

Hello and happy Tuesday, another hot day here in the Commonwealth.  I love this super simple LO because the attention is drawn to the photos without a lot of what I call competing embellishments!  I used some sketch  inspiration from Organized and Creative Mom, I really like her sketches.  I even used some handmade papers that has been in my stash for a long time; I picked them up from Costco. The title was cut using my SLICE machine, which is still one of my favorites.  I'm sharing this LO for the Anything Goes challenge #55 over at Cardz TV and #24 over at Love to Craft.  Thank you for your visit and I hope you have a terrific day.

Father's Day

Hello and happy Sunday,  it's going to be hot today; baby girl and I are taking a little road trip.  We are going to see my parents and hopefully we will make it in time for church.  Today I am sharing a tile that I did after watching a video from Gift Basket Appeal , I really enjoy watching her YT videos.   I created the card using a Unity stamp (baby girl did the coloring),  and more paper from the Bella Blvd paper pad.  The card and tile both were created as part of the FNCC on Scraps of Color. Take care, enjoy your day and come back again soon.

#1 DAD

Hello and happy Thursday,  warm temps in the forecast for our area today. Just a few days before Father's Day and I have another card that I put together. I was watching one of May May's videos and since I didn't have the punch size that she used I created a totally different card.  I used paper from my scrap stash, a circle punch, a circle die for the matting, a cuttlebug folder, a Hero Arts stamp set for the tools and the Create a Critter 2 Cricut cartridge for the sentiment.  I even did a little coloring!  I am sharing this card for the Die Cuttin' Divas challenge #373 - Father's Day or Masculine, the Super Scraps Saturday challenge #356 over at Hiding in my Craft Room and the Father's Day challenge over at Bitten by the Bug2.

Thank you for your visit and I hope you'll return tomorrow for my very first design team announcement and project!  Wishing you and yours a teriffic Thursday.

Worlds Best Father

Hello and happy Friday, I think we just might get away with no rain today.   Today I am sharing my first Father's Day card for the year, I need to step it up a bit so I can get them done and mailed on time.   I am super excited because I made the card using the CTMH Artfully Sent cricut cartridge which was recently gifted to me by one of my scrappin' BFFs.  I am so thankful for the kindness and generosity of my friends.  The inspiration for wanting to make this card came after I watched a video from Joy over at Obsessed with Scrapbooking earlier this week.  I definitely need some more practice using this cartridge, The manual says you can cut the card at a size 7 but I couldn't so I cut it at 6.75.  I only have the Expression because I prefer  cutting directly from the cartridge.  I am sharing this card for the masculine challenge over at Hiding in my Craft Room.  Take care and enjoy your weekend.

Celebrate

It's the  weekend and my plan is to rest as much as possible.  The school year is winding down and I am so looking forward to a little less running around.   Today I am back to sharing another guy inspired card as inspired by the video hop.  The op ends on Sunday and I have fallen behind so I will not make all the cards.   I used another cut fro the cricut Father's Day along with some corrugated Kraft paper, a Sizzix Tim Holtz  gear embossing folder, some brads and a metal sentiment.

Take care and enjoy your weekend

Easel Card

Hello and happy Tuesday, how was your holiday weekend?  I spent some time with family and friends and  I was able to finish up some LOs that I will share later since they are included in a wedding album.  I will wait until the recipient receives the album before I share. I  also watched more videos and  completed more guy themed cards, I am sharing one of them today.  During the video hop on Friday, Mimi over at  Mim's Mixed Bag shared an easel appreciation card and I created another Father's Day card.  While watching her video I almost decided to duplicate her card but I decided to do another Father's Day card instead.  I followed her instructions and made a 6x6 card, using more scraps of paper along with my  Father's Day cricut cartridge and  Hero Arts stamp. both of these items are  really getting a work-out during this Guy Card Collaboration hop!  I am also sharing this card for challenge #252- any holiday over at Hiding in my Craft Room.

Take care, thank you for your visit and try to stay dry if you are in the path of all of the rain!

Take care, be safe and enjoy your weekend!

Male Cards

Hello and happy Thursday, another warm day with no rain!  I am back today to share one of the cards that I created after watching a Guy Card Collaboration video hop, if you'd like to follow along this is where it starts with  Maymay Made It and it includes a total of 26 crafters sharing male inspired cards.  The series started on Monday but I'm running a little behind since I had to search through my stash for a replacement item for one of the punches that I didn't have.  I had to improvise since I didn't own a word window punch.  I like how the card came together, the inside says "to a dad who can fix anything."  I used the Father's Day stamp set from Hero Arts and the Father's Day cricut cartridge for the tool box cut along with the envelope punch board a Sizzix TH die for the top opening.

Thanks for your visit, stop by again tomorrow for another male card inspired by the video hop!
