Tis the Season

Hello Monday evening,  nice temps in the forecast for the next few days; I originally meant to share this card on Tuesday but I hit post before scheduling it.  Always so much to do and so little time it seems!  I'm back today to share another holiday card that I created over the weekend, I think this may be my favorite so far!  I used some of Dollar Tree linen cardstock for the base,  a die for the deer and the background woods, and a TPC Studio stamp for the sentiment.  I stamped the sentiment using the Delicata silvery shimmer ink pad, I wasn't really impressed although it was one of the must haves after seeing others use it!  I also used some wink of stellar for the first time, can you see it on the deer?  I'm sharing this card for the any holiday challenge #328  over at Hiding in my Craft Room and the anything goes challenge #22 over at Cardz TV.  Take care and I hope you'll come back again soon.

Sunday Musings

Hello and happy Sunday, the holiday weekend is winding down and I must say I haven't done as much as I had planned!  Oh well there's always today to try to get some things done after church.  I am happy to share that I finally got to work on another LO.  The sketch inspiration came from another one of the challenges posted on the Sketch N Scrap  Bountiful Blessings FB online crop. I used papers from the Authentique Accomplished Collection paper pad,  embellishments and lettering from my stash.  I  cut the camera with my SLICE, I had a hard time taking a picture of the LO, it really looks better in person!  Take care and I hope you will come back soon.

Hugs and Prayers

Hello Thursday, forecast call for seasonal temps in the low 60s today.  I'm back today to share a card that I created recently for someone that suffered the loss of a love one.  I used more paper from the American Crafts Garden Party paper pad, a doily from Studio G, a Hero Arts die and stamp set and some Recollections heart gems. Just Because

Hello happy Monday, the weekend just isn't long enough.  A busy home and work life makes it hard to have a lot of downtime sometimes.  I am trying to get in the holiday mood but for some reason I haven't felt up to it.  I am back today to share another super simple card that I put together using the November card sketch from Stick it Down.  The pattern paper came from the American Crafts Hot Cocoa 6x6 paper pad and I cut the bow with one of my unbranded dies, stamped the sentiment and this card was done!  Wishing you and yours a wonderful week, hope you will visit again soon.

Merry Christmas

Happy Saturday, cold outside just doing a quick driveby post.  Today I am sharing a card that I put together using sketch #109 from Sketch N Scrap.  I was lucky enough to be randomly selected to win their monthly prize for one of the cards that I shared last month!  Today's card came together rather nicely as I continue to shop my stash of supplies.  The pattern paper is from Recollections, the  doily from the JoAnns ms sparkle & co line and I cut the tree using my Silhouette cameo.  The sentiment stamp is from the CTMH Artfully Sent cricut bundle; a gift from Cheryl, another one of my scrappin' besties!  I am on a roll so I hope you'll come back again soon.

Friday Musings

Hello and happy Friday, looking forward to some downtime this weekend or rather maybe not.  Next week is homecoming at my daughter's school and we still need to shop.   Oh well such is life we just have to make the best of it.  Today I am sharing a card that I made using inspiration from this month's sketch #342 over at Die Cuttin'  Divas.  I used papers from the Pebbles Garden Party 6x6 paper pad, stamped, heat embossed and cut the flowers using a stamp and die set  that I picked up on clearance from Hobby Lobby sometime ago.  I threw away the packaging but I think it may have been something exclusive to HL by Richard Garay, the founder of Fun Stampers Journey.  A few enamel dots and a stamped sentiment completed this card that will be going postal to one of the FB card angels.  I will also share this card for the Anything Goes Challenge #20 over at Cardz TV.  Thank you for your visit, wishing you and yours a wonderful weekend.

Cards for Kids

Hello Thursday, more cold weather for us.  Today I am sharing some cards that I created for the FB card angel group or rather it was requested by one of its members.   The request was posted last week for kid cards so I spent some time over the weekend putting these 10 signature simple cards together.  I used a of variety papers, stickers, die cut embellishments and stamps for the sentiments.  I like how they came out and I was able to use some stuff from my stash, used the bike die and reindeer stamp for the first time!  Take care and I hope you'll come back again soon.

Wednesday Wanderings

Hello and happy Wednesday, cool fall temps in our area.  I'm back today sharing the final cards from my One Sheet Wonder project.  The paper came from one of the Michael's hot buy paper pads, stamped two of the sentiments and used my cricut and/SLICE to cut the other three.  The flowers and gems have been in my stash forever, used a punch for the butterflies and my SLICE to cut the embellishment on the bottom right card.  Take care and have a wonderful Wednesday.
