 Hello and happy Sunday evening doing a quick drive by post to share a card that I recently created. I used sketch inspiration from Atlantic Hearts challenge #674 and papers sitting on my desk that were leftover from other projects. Cut the flower using a Gina Marie Designs die and stamped the sentiment using a Hero Arts stamp set. Another card done and ready to go postal!

 Hello Sunday evening, doing a quick drive by post before I get ready for bed!  I used sketch inspiration from Atlantic Hearts sketch challenge #662.  The pattern paper came from some miscellaneous papers gifted to me some time ago. I used a Spellbinders label die and a Crafters Companion flower die, some enamel dots and a Stampin' Up stamp for the sentiment.  Another card done and ready to go postal soon!

Tuesday Musings

 

Hello Tuesday, just doing a quick drive by post to share another card.  I created this card using sketch inspiration from Atlantic Hearts sketch #650, and more papers sitting on my desk from other projects.  This weekend one of my friends lost her battle  with breast cancer but today I am sharing this card with someone else that is still in the fight.  My heart is doubly heavy because my husband's 26 year old cousin took his life a few days ago and on this past Saturday I participated in an Out of Darkness, suicide prevention walk.  Life can be hard sometime but yet I remain hopeful.  I am sharing this card for the Word Art Wednesday Anything Goes challenge for weeks #718-719.

Wednesday Musings

 

Hello Wednesday, been awake most of the morning so I am feeling like it should still be Tuesday! Well such as life will have I must press on and get through this day.  During my sleepless night Input this clean and simple card together using scraps of paper, a stamped sentiment and a Prima flower. The sketch inspiration for the came from Atlantic Hearts sketch challenge #619.  I am feeling a bit overwhelmed because of some things going on right now so I'm unable to create/play as much as I would like.  I'm sharing this card for the Anything Goes challenge for weeks #689-690 over at Word Art Wednesday.

Thursday Musings

 It's another Thankful Thursday!  Today's project share is a clean and simple card that I created, the recipient is a male recently diagnosed with cancer.  I thought the flower pattern in the paper was subtle enough for a man.  I used sketch inspiration from Atlantic Hearts challenge #594,  Violet Studio papers, a Stampabilities stamp and some gems.  This card is going postal in tomorrow's mail, still trying to put a dent in my scraps of paper and my unused stash.

CIU #310 - Thinking of You

 

Hello Friday, today's card share is my latest design team project for the Cut it Up challenge blog.  When putting my card together I used mostly scraps of paper, the pattern piece came from the Pink Fresh Studio Some Days 6x6 paper pad, the speech bubble die set is from Photoplay (picked) it up when I went to the Stamp and Scrapbook Expo in June.  Used an old Studio G stamp for the sentiment and added a few Violet Studio gems and this card was done!

Hello Sunday, the start of a new week; best wishes for a wonderfully blessed week.  Today's project share is a card created using sketch inspiration from Atlantic Hearts challenge 572.  I just used miscellaneous leftover papers that were sitting on my desk waiting to be used. I used a Sizzix die set to cut the focal point, a Martha Stewart butterfly punch and a Love Nicole die set for the sentiment.  Another card done,  it will be going postal this week.

I am doing a quick drive by post to share another card, some of my friends are a little under the weather so I wanted to send them some hugs in a card.  I used sketch inspiration from Atlantic Hearts challenge #564, some Paper Studio papers and gems.  The flower is a stamp and die set from Pink and Main;  I used some alcohol markers to color the flower.  Another card done and ready to go postal!

Hello and happy Tuesday, doing a quick drive by post to share another card that I recently created.  I used sketch inspiration from Sketch N Scrap National Card Making Day sketch #1, papers from my scraps stash, a ribbon cut with the  Cricut (Autumn Celebrations), added a flower gem, a ribbon button, stamped sentiment and the card was done!  This is one of those cards that look better in person!

Welcome to the start of a new week, claiming joy and fruitfulness!  Today's share is a card created using sketch inspiration for Sketch N Scrap #250 and pattern papers from the My Minds Eye Blink of an Eye 6x6 paper pad.  I  used a  Stampin Up stamp and die set for  the sunflower, colored with some alcohol markers.  Finished it by adding some gems, another card done and going postal this week!  Still trying to work through using my stash, organizing and de-cluttering.

Hello and happy Thursday, with the start of the weekend not too far away! Today’s drive by post is a card created using sketch inspiration from Tuesday Morning Sketches challenge #725 and pattern papers from the Simple Stories I AM  collection; finished the card by adding some faux pearl gems.  Another card done and going postal to a scrappy friend, wishing her a complete recovery.  I am going to a crop on Saturday; sure hope I can get something done other than socialize!

I used  papers from  a Ki Memories 6x6 paper pad, a WeR MemoryKeepers rose die, a Woodware Stamp for the sentiment and some Paper Studio gems.  The card came together nicely and is ready to go postal when needed!

 Hello and happy early Sunday morning, today’s drive by  post is an encouragement card. The card uses sketch inspiration from sketch  #565 over at Try Stampin on Tuesday. The paper came from the Love Nicole Time Machine 6x6 paper pad, a Studio G stamp for the sentiment and a WeR MemoryKeepers star die. I am so over this paper pad but it is my go to pad when I make male cards. This signature clean and simple card is going postal to a young solder in the Army going through a rough time.

Wednesday Wanderings

 Hello and happy Wednesday, it is cloudy with some rain drizzle in our area today.  I am getting ready to go on a little girls getaway so pray for traveling mercies.   I'm doing a quick drive by post to share a card that I created over the weekend using some plastic wrap and ink to make the background and for the flowers.  I didn't have the type of ink that was suggested on the video that I watched so that may have something to do with the outcome.  It is like the ink smooshing technique but using plastic wrap.  The flower is an unbranded stamp and die set, the sentiment is from the Woodware Birthday Strips stamp set added a few pearl embellishments and this card was done!  I am sharing this card for the Tic-Tac-Toe Challenge #162, I used the middle row going down (floral, free and embellishments.  This is my first time sharing on this blog, head over there for some inspiration for more inspiration.

 Hello and happy Sunday, the start of a new week!  I was able to get a little crafting done yesterday so I am sharing one of the cards that I put together yesterday using sketch inspiration from Shopping Our Stash challenge #468.  Papers from DCWV, a Stampin’ Up stamp, circle dies and a few scattered gems. I colored the bird using a alcohol marker and glittery pens.  Another card done and ready to go postal.

Hello and happy Wednesday,  I should be getting ready for bed but I wanted to share this card.  I meant to share it yesterday but I never got around to doing it.  I created this card using sketch inspiration from Tuesday Morning Sketches challenge #653, papers from several DCWV paper pads, a heart embossing folder some Recollections enamel hearts and a stamp for the sentiment.  I have mixed feelings about how the card came out but I still plan to send it.

 Hello Sunday, mild temps and sunny after yesterday’s snow.  Forgot to change the clocks so I was a little thrown off this morning, didn’t help that I had a restless night.  Today I am sharing a card that I put together using sketch inspiration from Atlantic Hearts challenge #463, pattern paper from Paper Studio, a Stampin Up stamp and die set for the sunflower,  a stitched circle die, a Hero Arts stamp for the sentiment and a few Dollar Tree gems.  Another card done and ready to go postal soon!

Thinking of You

 Hello Friday, I have been trying to post all week but as life would have it I didn't get around to it.  My one word for 2022 is Balance and I am no where near finding it!  Today's drive by post is a card created using Craftsmart white pigment ink and a stamp to create the background before cutting the pieces for the card base.  For some reason I just can't get the ink to dry completely, I always have smudges. The sentiment stamp is an older Stampin' Up stamp and the flower is from Recollections.  I have been working on sympathy cards this week.  I am sharing this card for  challenge #229 over at Creatalicious Challenges.
