Expo

Hello and happy Tuesday, doing a quick drive by post as I need to get out and get my walk in before work.  Today I am finally sharing a layout that, I actually completed two layouts this past weekend!  For this layout I used pictures from a Stamp and Scrapbook Expo that I went to earlier this year, this was actually my first time attending.  I went with a group of ladies from a local scrapbook club! I used blocks of patten paper from the Simple Stories Crafty Things 6x8 paper pad, empherma, stickers, enamel dots and my label maker.  I am sharing this layout for the Challenge YOURself #129 Use Lots of Pattern Paper.

Thank you for your visit, take care and hurry back soon.

Sweet Treat

Hello and happy Tuesday, doing a quick drive by to share one of my most recent layouts.  I have been on a quest to scrap me more as I'm usually the one behind the camera.  Today's LO is one that I created using pictures taken during a summer celebration at work; I called it Friday Fun Frenzy!  I had fun just chillin, trying to lift the morale of the hospital staff!  I used papers from an Echo Park and stickers from an Echo Park paper pack, some dies, enamel dots and I even pulled the felt hearts from a bag that was sitting in my stash.  I like it and it helps me complete  another LO toward my quarterly goal. I'm sharing this for the Challenge YOURself  #117 - Life Balance, fun work celebrations help with work balance!

Thank you for your visit, hope you will return soon.  Take care and continue to be safe!

Happy New Year

Hello wintry weather Monday, I have been trying to post for the last few days but I just didn't get around to it.  I have a lot going on and I'm just trying to live a less stressful life of gratitude.  Today's project share is my first completed LO for 2022, I actually started it on New Years Eve but didn't finish it until New Years Day.  The pattern papers came from an old Recollections paper pad, I cut the ornaments using the CTMH Cricut Artiste cartridge, fuzzy cut the little tree from a sheet of paper from the pad and the snowflakes are stickers from Paper Studio.  I have some journaling on the back but I will probably at least write the date on the front before I put it in the book.  I am sharing this LO for the Anything Goes challenge #96 over at Challenge YOURself.

Thank you for your visit, stay safe and hurry back again soon.

Celebrate

Hello Monday night, it has been a few days since I shared; I was busy creating LOs for a Halloween crop event.  Today I am sharing one of the LOs that I created using a picture taken last month at one of my college roommates retirement party.  We had so much fun and  I was glad to see some friends that I hadn’t seen in a few years .I used pattern paper from the Park Lane Classic Chic 12x12 paper pad and Recollections foil cardstock.  The dress and shoes were cut using the Forever Young Cricut cartridge,  a Sizzix die for the sentiment and an unbranded die set for the balloons. Added the splatters using water color paint, some twine and brads that have been in my stash for years. I am sharing this layout for the Challenge YOURself #94,  Black and White plus one other color.

Thank you for your visit, I hope you will return soon.

CIU #233 - Favorite Sketch

Hello Friday and welcome to the weekend.  Today's project share is my latest design team submission for the Cut it Up challenge blog.  The theme for challenge #233 is favorite sketch, I chose to do a layout since I am really behind; I love the sketches over at Sketch N Scrap so I am using their layout sketch #27.  The challenge sponsor is STAMPlorations and she is offering a $20 gift certificate, they have some great crafting supplies.

For my layout I used pictures that I took recently during one of my self care walks, for over a year now I have tried to walk at least 30 minutes per day.  When putting my layout together I used pattern papers from the WE R Memory Keepers 12x12 Jet Set paper pad, cut a walking silhouette with my SLICE machine,  cut the clouds with a Tonic die,  and added some stickers from the Simple Stories I AM collection.  The Hang in There sitting on the clouds was cut using a die from our challenge sponsor and the alphabet  lettering used for the main title has been in my stash for many years.  I am sharing this LO for challenge #92 - Taking Care of You over at Challenge YOURself.

Now that you have seen my project I hope you will visit the Cut it Up challenge blog for more inspiration. Create and share your project using a sketch for a chance to win a gift certificate from  STAMPlorations, don’t forget to use a die on your project. The challenge starts today and ends Wednesday, September 8  at noon EST.

Thank you for your visit, wishing you and yours a wonderful weekend.

RVA Scrappers

Hello Friday afternoon, let the weekend begin!  Today’s project share is a LO using sketch inspiration from  Challenge YOUrself #79.  I like visiting their blog because their challenges requires you to scrap yourself which is something that I rarely do.  I used a picture from the October 2019 meetup of my local scrapbook club,  we  haven’t seen each other since February  due to the pandemic.  I used misc papers, dies and embellishments from my stash.  I cut the witch from a sheet of pattern paper, und the Accent Essentials Cricut cartridge to cut the scallop borders.  I like how this LO came out, l hope I can get a few more done this weekend.  I am sharing this LO for the Anything Goes challenge #120 over at Cardz TV.

Than:you for your visit, I hope You will return soon!  Be careful and stay safe.

Twinning

Hello and happy Monday and Labor Day!  Today's project share is indeed a labor of love as baby girls grows into a young woman it really tugs at my heart!  I used a picture that was taken of us in July as we had decided to dress alike at a family event.

I used sketch inspiration from a grid challenge  shared by Organized and Creative Mom.  I used mostly scraps of paper from my stash,  the Fantastic Fonts, Going Places and the 50 States Cricut cartridges.  The embellishments are from Me & My Big Ideas, Recollections, Amy Tangerine and Jillibean Soup.

I am sharing this LO for the Mother - Daughter  challenge#56 over at Challenge Yourself and the challenge #384 - What Makes You Happy over at  Die Cuttin' Divas.  One thing that makes me happy is documenting my family's history by scrapbooking.

Thank you for your visit and I hope you have a wonderful week.
