Last Game

Hello and happy Tuesday, nice Fall temps with a forecast of possible rain in the next few days.  Today I am doing a quick drive by post to share a layout using a picture that has been sitting on my desk for some time.  I wasn't going to scrap it because I didn't like the color but such as it is, not sure what happened as I think it was one of the last pictures from my selphy printer.  The picture is one of my daughter and I at a college football game, I decided to add the journaling on the back since it is personal and somewhat emotional.  I used sketch inspiration from Sketch N Scrap #259, the base of the LO is from a Paper Studio paper pack; the pattern paper is a two-sided sheet from Recollections that I picked up from Michaels recently. The other miscellaneous dies, stickers, enamel dots and papers came from my stash.

Thank you for your visit, continue to be safe and hurry back soon.

CIU 263 - Halloween

Hello and happy Friday, let the weekend begin!  Today's card was created for the Cut it Up challenge blog.  The theme for challenge #263 is Halloween and the sponsor is DRS Designs.

I chose to use this adorable pumpkin from our sponsor, I colored it using some alcohol markers; I don't think I'll ever master coloring!  I used papers from the Love Nicole Happy Haunting 6x6 paper pad, a Stephanie Barnard Sizzix dotted oval die set some Jilli Bean Soup enamel stars and a Create Indie stamp for the sentiment. I received that stamp set from one of my scrappin' besties many years ago!  I stamped the sentiment with some pigment white ink, the stamp and ink has been in my stash sitting unused!  Decluttering and organizing has become my life's work.  I am sharing this card for the Shopping Our Stash challenge #456 -Frightfully Delighful/Halloween.

Now that you've seen my card, I hope you will visit the Cut it Up challenge blog for more inspiration, create and share your Halloween project for a chance to win some crafty goodness from our sponsor.  The challenge starts today and ends Wednesday, November 2, 2022 at noon EST.

Thank you for your visit, continue to be safe and hurry back soon!

Thursday Musings

Hello cool Fall Thursday morning!  I actually started this post yesterday morning but here I am finishing it when I should be asleep! This thing called "life" won't allow me as much play time, I don't know why but it seems to be taking a toll and I can't figure out how to balance everything!  Today's card share is a signature clean and simple card created using sketch inspiration from Atlantic Hearts challenge #495, papers from a DCWV Farmstead Harvest 6x6 paper stack, a circle die, one of the dies from the Sizzix Wildflower die set and a Hero Art stamp for the sentiment.  I am sharing this card for the Use Your Stuff challenge #469 Die cuts.

Thank you for your visit; I hope you will come again soon.

For this card I used Newton’s Nook Daffodils stamp, some Doodlebug Designs papers, a stitched rectangle die sett from Pink & Main, a Sizzix banner die for the sentiment and some Bo Bunny enamel dots.

Now that you have seen my cards, I hope you will visit the Cut it Up challenge blog for more gratitude cards from the design team.

CIU #262 - BIG

Hello, happy Friday and welcome to the weekend!  Today's project share is my latest design team card for the Cut it Up challenge blog.  The theme for challenge #262 is BIG and our sponsor is Oddball Art.

I created a mini slimline card using a 6x6 card base and some glittered pattern paper from the DCWV Fun in the Sun paper stack.  The large focal point was a digital image provided by the challenge sponsor is the flower that I colored with alcohol markers.  I cut the banner, stem and sentiment using dies from my stash; finished the card by adding a gem in the flower's center.  I'm sharing this card for the challenge sketch #678 over at Tuesday Morning Sketches.

Now that you've seen my project I hope you will head over to the Cut it Up challenge blog for more inspiration. Create and share your project using a BIG focal point for a chance to win some crafty goodness from our challenge sponsor. The challenge starts today and ends Wednesday, October 19 at noon EST.

Thank you for your visit, take care and hurry back soon.

Breast Cancer Awareness Month

Hello Tuesday, doing a quick drive by post to share a memorydex card created in observance of Breast Cancer Awareness month.  My BCA crafting stash is limited so it seems I reach for the same items each October.  I created this card using a Unity Stamp set and a few flower die cuts made with a Sizzix die.  I can't remember the manufacturer of the pattern paper but I do know that it is from a Girl Power line.  This is just a reminder to make sure you be active participant in your breast health. I will be joining other participants in the Making Strides Breast Cancer Walk later this month, if you'd like to make a donation you can do it here https://secure.acsevents.org/site/STR?fr_id=102946&pg=personal&px=58142731.

Take care and have a terrific Tuesday, hurry back soon.

World Card Making Day

Hello Sunday, WCMD was actually yesterday but I didn't take the time to post as I was busy trying to get as much play time in as possible!  The weekend really goes by way too fast, I can never get as much done as I plan!  Today's project share is a card created using sketch inspiration from Atlantic Hearts sketch #492, papers from the Recollections When Life Gives You Lemons paper pad, a Fiskars stamp for the sentiment, a Sizzix die for the coffee cup and some CTMH sequins.  I made the clip board using one of my unbranded dies.  Another card done and ready to go postal soon!

Thank you for your visit, continue to be safe and hurry back soon!
