Monthly MDC

Hello and happy Monday, today I doing a quick drive by post to share my monthly memory dex card.  I used an older Sizzix embossing folder for the web on the base, and a variety of dies for other elements of the card.  I used a punch for the little patch of leaves and my usual CTMH stamp set for the calendar.  I don't usually do alot of Halloween creating so most of my projects would be on the cleaner side.  I am sharing this project for challenge #531 - Leafing it up to You over at Shopping Our Statsh.

Thank you for your visit, take care and hurry back again soon.

Memory Dex Monday

Hello Monday, looking forward to some down time this holiday week.  This past weekend was full of some unexpected challenges but I'm grateful for God's grace and mercy.  Today's project share is my monthly memory dex card.  When putting this card together I used dies, buttons, twine, stamps, my Cricut and the last scrap piece of paper from that 12 x 12 sheet (I think I used that one sheet of paper on four projects).  This little card used lots of randomness but came out quite cute!  I am sharing this project over on IG for the @2Crafters1Design bear themed challenge and the button challenge over at Shopping Our Stash.

Thank you for your visit, take care and hurry back soon!

December Memory Dex Card

Hello and happy Wednesday, today I am doing a quick drive by post to share my last monthly memory dex card for 2023.  I am in a dilemma as the year is ending and I have to make a few purchases because I'm going into 2024 on a no craft spending plan; the only exception being adhesive!  I have way too much stuff and I must use it or part with it! I created this project using two items that I had never used before.  The gingerbread die is from Momenta and was added to my stash last year and the pattern paper is from a pack that which I received in the mail on Monday from winning a giveaway on YT.  I'm sharing this project over on the NBUS challenge #56 for the second time this month!

Thank you for your visit, continue to be safe and hurry back soon!

Winter Crafting

Hello and happy Monday, doing a quick drive by post to share some winter themed projects.  I created an Artist Trading Card (ATC) and a MemoryDex card using items from my stash.  When putting the ATC together I used a snowflake embossing folder, a Spellbinders die for the snowman, and a Cardz TV stamp for the sentiment. Finished by adding some gems and some faux snow from Dollar Tree!  The base of MemoryDex was cut with a die, cut the snowflake with a Szzix die, the ice skates using a Spellbinders die, the bow is a Papertrey Ink bow.  Finished by adding another Cardz TV stamp for the sentiment and some gems.  I am sharing this project for the Winter Fun challenge #488 over at Shopping Our Stash.

Breast Cancer Awareness Month

Hello Tuesday, doing a quick drive by post to share a memorydex card created in observance of Breast Cancer Awareness month.  My BCA crafting stash is limited so it seems I reach for the same items each October.  I created this card using a Unity Stamp set and a few flower die cuts made with a Sizzix die.  I can't remember the manufacturer of the pattern paper but I do know that it is from a Girl Power line.  This is just a reminder to make sure you be active participant in your breast health. I will be joining other participants in the Making Strides Breast Cancer Walk later this month, if you'd like to make a donation you can do it here https://secure.acsevents.org/site/STR?fr_id=102946&pg=personal&px=58142731.

Take care and have a terrific Tuesday, hurry back soon.

ShowTimeTuesday

Hello and happy Tuesday, doing a quick drive by post to share my latest memorydex card.  I recently finished a 10 week memorydex class and I have only completed a few of the assignments; the good thing is I can go back at my leisure and do them.  In keeping with my clean and simple style I created this BCA memorydex card  using  some paper from the My Favorite Things Buffalo Brights 6x6 paper pad, stamped and heat embossed the word HOPE using a stamp set from A Muse Studio, a Sizzix alphabet die set, a pink glittered foam ribbon  and some Bo Bunny candy dots. I created this for  a challenge over on the Scraps of Color FB group but it also works well for my October memorydex card.  I'm sharing this for the Anything Goes challenge #152 over at Cardz TV.

Thank you for your visit, I hope you'll return soon.

Hello Summer

Hello and happy Thursday, hot and humid in our area today.  Where have I been, what have I been doing and why haven't I posted on my blog.  As I've said before life happens and sometimes you just can't juggle all of the balls which means things just aren't in synch.  Today I am sharing a quick project that I put together since we are approaching mid month and I need to be working on July's memory dex card.  It is another super simple project but it is at least providing a little distraction for me.  I am happy to report that I will finish the in class portion of my certification this week which should give me back some of my playtime!  I'm sharing this for the Anything Goes challenge #144 over at Cardz TV.

Thank you for your visit, I hope you'll return soon.  Take care and be safe.

April Showers MemoryDex

Hello rainy Monday morning, doing a quick drive by post to share my monthly MemoryDex card.  I really like how this one came out as it is one of the few times the end result came close to the plan I had in my head!  I use a pattern piece of paper from a  DCWV paper pad along with other misc. scraps of paper from my stash (I really just need to toss  those scraps).  I cut the grass and tulips using the Artiste and Walk in my Garden cricut cartridges, used a SU punch for the umbrella, stamped, colored  and fuzzy cut the boots and the bee.  Added the bee and boots with dimensional tape and doodled the bee line with a sharpie, both were requirements elements for the challenge.  I'm sharing this for the Anything Goes challenge #138 over at Cardz TV.

Thank you for your visit, continue to be safe and hurry back again soon!

Memory Dex and Post Card

Today's project share is a Memory Dex and Post Card created for a challenge hosted by  Shanta on her YT channel and blog Creating From My Heart. I used papers and cut aparts from the Simple Stories Hey Crafty Girl, a kit I received from one of my scrapping besties! I used Sizzix dies for the typewriter, scissors and dress form and the Crafter’s Companion Sew Lovely set for the thread spool. She wanted to receive them by tomorrow but I know that the way the post office has been operating she probably won't receive them until sometime next week. Another signature clean and simple project done and another challenge entered!

Thank you for your visit, hope you'll return soon.

Fall Memory Dex

Hello and happy Wednesday and first full day of Fall, I meant to post yesterday but as life would have it I didn't get a chance.  Today I am doing a quick drive by post sharing a MemoryDex card that I created for one of the challenges during  a recent zoom meet up.  I created the card by stenciling the background with some distress inks, added some Fall themed emphera and coffee cup that I cut using the Sizzx Spring Icons die set that I picked up on clearance from HL recently.  This will be going postal this weekend along with some other just because mail!  I am sharing this project for the anything but a card challenge over at Sisterhood of Crafters.

Thank you for your visit, continue to be safe and hurry back!

World Kindness Day

Hello and happy World Kindness Day!   After our first sighting of snow yesterday and the drop in temperature I pulled out the big coat, scarf and gloves this morning!  Today's project share is something new for me but not new to the industry.  I am sharing my very first memory dex/rolodex card.  One of my scrappin' besties suggested that we do a December daily so off to YT for some ideas before I commit to another project.  After watching December Daily Memory Dex Spinner  I have decided that I am going to do this for my December daily but not with the spinner I am making a box; so stay tuned as I prepare for this project.  So for my first run I decided to do a Fall themed card since that's what I am working on now.  The rolodex card is a file from the Silhouette store, I used  misc. scraps of paper, stickers and a Darice tree die and this project was done!  I am sharing this project for challenge #382 over at Use Your Stuff and challenge #513 over at Just us Girls.

Thank you for your visit, I hope you'll return soon, stay warm.
