CIU #305 - Anything Goes

 

Hello and happy Friday, let the weekend begin!  Today's project share is a layout created for the Cut it Up challenge blog.  The theme for challenge #305 is Anything Goes and I decided to share a layout since memory documenting is what I like to do.

Earlier this month we celebrated hospital week at my job, so I decided to document what we did in our building everyday.  Monday we had doughnuts and coffee, I used Sizzix dies to cut those two items.  This was the first year where we celebrated in what has been stated in such a grand way with lots of food and fun. I used the cricut for the pizza and another die set for the drink.  I am doing very well with my layouts for this quarter!

Celebrate Everyday

 

Hello Monday, happy Memorial Day.  Today's card share is one created using sketch inspiration from  challenge #647 over at Try a Sketch on Tuesday.  I used a leftover piece of pattern paper from a recent project, a piece of  washi tape another scrap piece of paper and a Paper Studio gemstone start (last one in the package).  Finished the card by adding stamped sentiment and a few more stars and this card was done!

Hello and happy Thursday, it has been another week of not being able to get anything shared on my blog.  Today's project share is a card created usking sketch inspiration from Tuesday Morning Sketches challenge #757.  I used mostly paper scraps, a Darice embossing folder, a Globeland die for the owl and a Sizzix die for the sentiment.  I will be sharing this card for the 2crafter1design YT and IG challenge, this week's theme is graduation.

Sunday Musings

 

Hello Sunday, a new week and almost time to get back to work!  It has been raining all weekend so I haven't been as productive! I am doing a quick drive by post as I meant to share yesterday but time just got away.  I created this Father's Day card using sketch inspiration from Atlantic Hearts challenge #577 and papers from two of the DCWV paper stacks.  The sentiment and the hat are from two different Fun Stampers Journey stamp sets, finished by adding some Recollections gems.

CIU #304 -Send Me Flowers

 Hello and happy Friday, let the weekend begin; it has been a long work week.  Today's card share is my latest design team project for the Cut it Up  challenge blog, the theme for challenge #304 is Send Me Flowers.  

When putting my card together I used a piece of paper that has been sitting on my desk for while for the base, cut the flowers using the Sizzix Bold Flowers die set and paper scraps from my stash. Finished the card by adding a stamped sentiment  a Woodware stamp set and a few gems. I'm sharing this card for the monthly Anything Goes challenge #123 over at Crafts Galore.

Thursday Musings

 

Wow, it has been a while since my last post, life has just been lifing!  Today's drive by card share was created using sketch inspiration form Sketch N Scrap card challenge #265.  I used papers and a sticker from the Echo Park Oh Happy Day paper kit. The sentiment came from the Brushed Messages  stamp set from Stampendous; finished by adding a few enamel dots and the card was done.

More morning, more National Scrapbooking Day projects loading!  Doing a quick drive by to share a Mother's Day card created using sketch inspiration from Tuesday Morning Sketches #755.  The papers came from Recollections paper pads, the tulip and butterfly dies came from GlobeLand, cut the vellum oval using a Sizzix (Stephanie Barnard) die, finished the card by adding a stamped sentiment and some gems.  I'm sharing this card for the Mother's Day challenge #520 over at Shopping Our Stash and the 2Crafters1 Design challenge over on IG.

National Scrapbook Day

 Hello Saturday, doing a quick drive by post to share my first make for National Scrapbook Day.  I created this card this morning using sketch inspiration from Atlantic Hearts challenge #575 and mostly scraps of paper from a Simple Stories 6x6 paper pad, this may be the last project using papers from this pad; I'm not sure I can do anything else with the remaining scraps!  This card is done and will be going postal today!

CIU #303 - Add a Sentiment

 Hello and happy Friday and National Scrapbooking Weekend! Today's project share is my design team project for  the Cut it Up challenge blog.  The theme for challenge #303 is Add a Sentiment, the challenge starts today and ends, Wednesday, May 15, 2024 at noon PST. 

When putting my card together I used sketch inspiration from  this month sketch from the Stick it Down (FB) group. The one piece of  pattern paper is from an American Crafts Spring 6x6 pad, I used a Sizzix border die, a flower die and a word die for the sentiment.  Finished the card by adding some Recollections gems and some TH Ranger distress black soot distress spray stain for the splatters!  I'm sharing this card for the Cardz 4 Galz challenge #224, Mother's Day or  any other celebration.
