Make a Wish

Today's drive by post is a card that I created for a challenge hosted over on Instagram.  This crafty dare challenge was to include postage, a number and at lest three layers  The pattern papers came from a DCWV paper pad, I used a postage stamp die set and other die sets for the sentiment, the number 4 and the balloon.  Finished the card  by adding some Spellbinders gems.  This super cute card will be going to my girl friend's granddaughter.

Thank you so much for your visit, continue to be safe and hurry back again soon.

CIU #324 - Tie it Up

Hello and happy Friday, it has been a winter weather week.  I have worked from home the past two days but it’s back in the office today.

Today's project share is my project for the Cut it Up challenge blog, the theme for challenge #324 is Tie it Up.  We were to use string, twine or ribbon.  When putting my card together I went through my stash looking for a Spring themed paper pad, I pulled out a very old American Crafts 6x6 paper pad called Spring and used two different patterns, cut a vellum oval using a die and a Darice die to cut the flowers. I tied a bow using a piece of ribbon that i received in a swap recently, stamped and die cut the sentiment using a Spellbinders set.  The gems used for the flower centers were included in the swap as well.  I am sharing this card for the Anything Goes challenge #248 over at Lil Patch of Crafty Friends.

Now that you've seen my Tie it Up project, I hope you will visit the Cut it Up challenge blog for more inspiration; create and share your own project.  The challenge starts today and ends Monday, March 2, 2025 at noon PST.

Love You a Ton

It's Saturday morning and I should be still asleep but there's just too much going on that I can't really rest well  So I am up organizing and make more of a mess!  Today's card was suppose to be shared yesterday but as life would have it I didn't finish the post so here it goes today!  I created this card using sketch inspiration from challenge #663 over at  Try a Sketch on Tuesday.  I used more scraps for the strips from a really old Stampin' Up paper pad that was gifted to me many years ago.  The hippo and sentiment is  from the Stampin' Up Hippest Hippos set.  I tried more coloring but now that I'm writing this maybe I should have colored the hippo a different color.

Thank you for your visit, continue to take care and visit as time permits.
