Joy & Cheer

Hello Sunday, the start of a new week; grateful for another chance to do and be better!  Today's card share is one of my Christmas in July projects.  When putting this card together it took lots of turns and a few challenges as I have been working on multiple projects over the holiday weekend.  For this card, I used sketch inspiration from Atlantic Hearts challenge #636, the tree die and pattern papers are from scrapbook.com, and the sentiment came from a Spellbinders stamp set.  So many goodies that need attention in my stash, still working on my hoarding problem of my paper crafting goodies.

Thank you for your visit, take care and continue to be safe.  I appreciate your visit and comments, hurry back soon!

Hello December and happy Friday, let the weekend begin.  Today's project share is my latest design team project for the Cut it Up challenge blog.  For challenge #292 we were to use more than one die, and I used four; the oval, circle, snowflake and the small stitched rectangle for the sentiment.

Sunday Musings

Hello again, back today to share another holiday card that I put together using sketch inspiration from Tuesday Morning Sketches challenge #733.  This signature clean and simple card was created using scraps from the Miss Mary Christmas 6x6 paper pad that I picked up from Hobby Lobby, finished by adding a snowflake cut with a Sizzix 3-D  die; I didn't add a sentiment because of the pattern paper that includes random sentiments.  Another card done that won't require additional postage.

Thank you for your visit, continue to be safe and hurry back soon.

Good morning and happy Little Friday!  Doing a quick drive by post as I sip my morning tea before I get dressed for work.  Today's card share was created after watching several YT videos on how to use the Spellbinders Open House Door die that I had picked up earlier in the year on clearance in Hobby Lobby.  The die set comes with 16 dies and they have add-on sets, I have one in my shopping cart now (smh).  I used an embossing folder to create the brick layer, stamped the sentiment with some white pigment ink, cut the little wreath using a Sizzix die and finished the card by adding some Paper Studio stars! I sharing this card for the Emboss at a Boss challenge #509 over at Shopping Our Stash and  challenge #56 over at Never Before Used Stuff, this was my first time using the house die.

CIU #284 - Create a Scene

Hello and happy Friday, let the weekend begin!  Today's card share is my latest design team project for the Cut it Up challenge blog. This week's challenge was to create a scene, my original idea was to create a beach scene but I ran out of time while trying to shop my stash!

When putting my card together I pulled a Momenta die set, a WeR Memorykeepers embossing folder, a Sizzix die set for the sentiment,  miscellaneous papers and gems all from my stash!    The scene came together rather quickly since the die set included everything that was needed.

Head on over to the Cut it Up challenge blog for more design team inspiration, create and share your project using a die.  The challenge starts today and ends Wednesday, August 23, 2023 at noon PST.

Thank you for your visit, continue to be safe and hurry back again soon.

Christmas in July

Hello Tuesday, today I am sharing two more holiday cards created using the Echo Park Celebrate Christmas 12x12 paper pack.  I created the cards using some embossing folders which aren't really visible in the picture and cut a-parts from the paper pack for the sentiments; though they are clean and simple they look better in person!  I'm sharing them over at Shopping Our Stash for their No Stamping Allowed challenge. Two more cards to add to my stash to use or donate.

Thank you for your visit, take care and hurry back soon!

Be Merry

Hello and happy cold Wednesday morning, I'm doing another quick drive by post to share another card. This card uses sketch inspiration form Atlantic Hearts challenge #503 and a piece of pattern paper from an old Martha Stewart mat pad, some Recollections silver foil paper for the bow, an unbranded die to cut the bow and a stamped sentiment.  I like how this super cute card came together once I got the paper to work for the bow, thinking about it now I should have tried adding a little water to wet the fibers. I even have another die that would have cut the bow already assembled, that's what happens when you have way too much stuff in your stash!  Oh well lesson learned for next time.

Thank you for your visit, stay safe and hurry back soon.

Holiday Greetings

Hello and happy Sunday, the start to a new week and the pace for everything seems to be picking up.  Today's project share is two cards that I created using sketch inspiration from Try Stampin' on Tuesday challenge #584.  I'm just trying to use more of my stash items that have been sitting for quite sometime; the pattern papers came from a K&Co photo mat pad.  The strip behind the banner die was cut using some DCWV Glitzy pastel paper, a stitched banner die, two different letter set dies for the sentiment added some enamel dots and these cards were done.  I will be sharing these non-traditional colored holiday cards with some kids that recently suffered a loss of a parent.
