Thursday Musings

Hello Thursday as I started this post yesterday but as life would have it I didn't get it done.  I have lost my drive for my selfcare journey; I need to get back on track.  I'm doing a quick drive by post to share a card that I created using sketch inspiration from Atlantic Hearts  sketch #604.  I have mixed feelings about it but its done and will be going postal soon.  Everything used has been in my stash for a bit with the exception of the piece of Crafter's Companion Christmas Rose paper.  I heat embossed the sentiment and added a few gems to the wreath which you can't really see in the picture.

Thank you for your visit, continue to be safe and hurry back again soon.

CIU #317 - Favorite Color(s)

Hello and happy rainy, welcome weekend.  Today's card share is my latest design team project for the Cut it Up challenge blog.  The theme for challenge 317 is Favorite Color(s) and one of my favorite colors is purple.  I wanted to use purple and red but it didn't come together so I chose purple even though in certain light it looks blue.

When putting my card together I used sketch inspiration from Atlantic Hearts challenge #603 and a 41/2 x 61/2 card size.  I cut the cone flowers using papers from the DCWV 6x6 mat stack and the buffalo plaid layer came from a My Favorite Things 6x6 paper pad.  Finished by adding a stamped sentiment and a few gems and this card was done!

I hope you will visit the Cut it Up challenge blog for more inspiration;  create and share your own project using your favorite color(s).  The challenge stats today and ends Wednesday, November 27, 2024 at noon PST.

Thank you for your visit, take care and hurry back soon.

Wednesday Musings

Hello and happy Wednesday night, been trying to share all week.  When putting this card together I used sketch inspiration from Sketch N Scrap #277 and  miscellaneous papers from my stash.  This was the first time I used the cup die set and it has been in my stash for over a year.  The sentiment came from a CTMH stamp called A Sip, added a few enamel dots and this card was done.  I am sharing this card for the Shopping Our Stash challenge #534 - Time for a Hot Drink and the monthly Anything Goes challenge over at A Cut Above where I was last month's winner!

Thank you for your visit, continue to be safe and hurry back soon

JOY

Good morning, hello new week a chance to do and be better.  Today's card share was created using sketch inspiration from Atlantic Hearts sketch challenge #602 and  papers from a Park Lane Nice List 6x8 paper pad.  I cut the flowers using one of TH Sizzix Brushstrokes flower die sets, an Impression Obsession die for the frame, stamped a sentiment and added a few Spellbinders embellishments and this card was done.  It came together well but  it took some time putting the flowers together, I have several poinsettia dies but wanted to use a different flower.

Thank you for your visit, continue to be safe and hurry back again.

Faith Over Fear

Hello and happy Thursday evening doing a quick drive by share.  Today's card share was created using sketch inspiration from Tuesday Morning Sketches #781,  papers from scrapbook.com, an unbranded die set and stamp set for the sentiment.  The pattern paper is so pretty,  I let it do most of the work!  This card will be going postal this weekend to someone recently diagnosed with cancer.  I'm sharing this card for the Anything Goes challenge #673-674 over at Word Art Wednesday.

Thank you for your visit, continue to be safe and hurry back soon.

Sunday Musings

Hello Sunday evening, doing a quick drive by post as I am just getting back home from a visit to my parents.  When creating this card I used sketch inspiration from Tuesday Morning Sketches #780 and some very old paper from my stash!  The tea dies are from Jaded Blossom and the sentiment is from a Fiskars stamp set.  I think the card came out great and I used it for the Crafty Dares and  the 2Crafters1Design challenges over on IG.

Thank you for  your visit, take care an have a wonderful week.
