Wednesday Musings

Hello Wednesday, where does the time go? This month, this year it’s just passing like a whirlwind! Today’s project share is a card created using mostly random scraps of paper from my stash,  trying to be more intentional about using my scraps. I even used an old textured card base from a box of Hot Buy cards from Michaels, one flower is from Fun Stampers Journey and the two are Paper Studio (spare parts; all items that have been in my stash for a number of years.  Added a few gems and a stamped sentiment and this card was done!

I am sharing this card for the Word Art Wednesday Anything Goes for Weeks 748-749 and Cards Galore Anything Goes monthly challenge

Thank you for your visit, take care and hurry back soon.

Tuesday Musings

Hello and happy Tuesday, mild temps in today's forecast. Doing a quick drive by post to share a card created as part of a swap that I spent the weekend finishing.  The theme was Fall and I used my postage stamp die as my focal point. I had mixed feelings about some of the cards that I created but I really liked this one!  I did some inking, stamping, die-cutting and added some Recollections fabric flowers.

I am sharing this card for the Anything Goes monthly challenge over at A Cut Above, challenge #177 over at Double Trouble and the October Anything Goes challenge over at Cards Galore.

Thank you for your visit, take care and hurry back soon.

CIU #312 - What's in Your Garden?

Hello and happy Friday, although it was a short work week it has felt longer.  Today's project share is my design team project for the Cut it Up challenge blog; the theme for this challenge is What's in Your Garden.

I love sunflowers, they just seem to make me light up; I like that they grow tall and stand out!  For my card I used a sunflower die, a leaf and stem die and a dotted oval die for the stamped sentiment.  The plaid paper is a sheet from a Simple Stories fall themed paper pad and the sentiment came from a CTMH set gifted to me from a coworker.  I made this card with one of my scrappin' besties in mind so it will be going postal later today. I am sharing this card for the Anything Goes challenge #127 over at Cards Galore.

Now that you've seen what's in my garden I hope you will visit the Cut it Up challenge blog for more inspiration, create and share your project.  The challenge starts today and ends Wednesday, September 18, 2024 at noon PST.

Thank you for your visit, continue to be safe and hurry back again soon.

World Card Making Day

Hello and happy Sunday, as life would have it I am redoing the post that I started yesterday!  I created this card yesterday morning using sketch inspiration from Tuesday Morning Sketches challenge #727, pattern papers from two different My Mind's Eye 6x6 pads.   The stamp and die set is from from Concord & 9th. This trying to use my stash his becoming more of a challenge each day!  I am sharing this card for the October Anything Goes Challenge over at Cards Galore.

Thank you for your visit, wishing you a wonderful week.
