Hello

Hello Tuesday, it's going to be a long day I have been awake since about 3:30 am.  Today I am sharing a LO using a picture taken last March at a community service project.   We were about to leave and decided to take one last picture, I'm glad because some of the other pictures taken during the event did not come out too good.  This is one of those true less is better LOs, I didn't want the picture to get lost since that's what matters most!    The papers and embellishments came from  my stash are from several different companies.  The LO looks better in person because you can see the small details better.  Take care and enjoy your day.

Love

Wow, it's Monday already I need another weekend day what happened I didn't get everything checked off my to do list!  Today I am back sharing another card that I created for the card angel group on FB.  I made this card for a couple that recently adopted their third child, as I read that love is another word for adoption.  Skerch inspiration for the card came from sketch #276 over at Freshly Made Sketches.  I found the mostly used paper kit that I used to make the card while I was looking for something else, the sentiment was one of the stickers in the kit and the heart was something I didn't use on another project.   Oh well off to the races, wishing you and yours a wonderful week.

Happy 5th Birthday

Hello and happy Saturday, the day started off sunny and warm but a rain and hail storm rolled through this evening.  I meant to post earlier but as life would have it I didn't have time.  This evening I am sharing a card that was created using sketch #36 from Paper Play Sketches.   The pattern paper came from a Momenta pad, I cut the bird and the #5 from the Birthday Bash cricut cartridge and used a button brad to attach the sentiment.  I am sharing this card for this week's animal challenge over at Die Cuttin' Divas.    Thank you for your visit and I hope you will come back soon.

It's Your Special Day

Hello and happy Thursday, another nice day here.  I am back today to share another LO that I created earlier this week as part of an online crop.  I have been able to complete several LOs which means I am current on my 2017 LO challenge.   This LO uses pictures taken of our daughter on her birthday last year, yes I don't scrap in order so you may see some LOs from years ago!  We started off  that day by going out to breakfast and  later she went out to dinner to celebrate one of her friend's birthday that was the reason for the change of clothes.  She  actually celebrated her birthday with friends the next day at Dave and Busters, I haven't decided whether I'm going to scrap those pictures, I may just put them in an album.  Everything used on this LO has been in my stash for quite a while.  Take care, hope you'll stop by again soon!

Happy Anniversary

Hello and happy Wednesday aka hump day!  We have cooler temps and cloudy skies so that means I won't be in a hurry to go outside for anything.  Today I am sharing an anniversary card that I put together for one of my friends that will be celebrating her anniversary next week.  I sure hope I follow through with getting it in the mail so that it can arrive on time.  I used sketch #485 from Mojo Monday and some American Crafts paper that I picked up in Tuesday Morning last year.  The stamped sentiment is from the Verve Wishing You stamp set.   I also used some twine, sequins and  hearts that were cut from the Beyond Birthdays cricut cartridge.  Take care and have a wonderful Wednesday.

Hello and happy Tuesday, nice temps again today but not as warm.  Today I am sharing the explosion box birthday card that I made for my daughter's 16th birthday.  I wasn't able to get really good pictures of the inside so I am just sharing the inspiration layer and the top.  I used some paper that had been in my stash for a while along with misc. stamps and embellishments.  I am sharing this card for the Anything Goes Designer Challege #3 over at Cardz TV.  Thank you for your visit, hope you have a wonderful day doing whatever brings joy to your heart.

Just a Note

Hello and happy Friday, this post is going up late but oh well!  Today I am sharing another card that I put together for the Love is in the Air online crop on FB.  I used pattern paper from the Becky Higgins Project Life Desktop Edition  6x6 pad, I cut the heart using an Amy Tangerine die (Scarlett), the circle with my Expression and the sentiment is a stamp from Crafter's Companion.  Can you tell I added some dimension to the top layer?  I am so pleased to be using my stash and not buying any crafting stuff!  I am sharing this card for the challenge #304 - Valentine Colors over at Die Cuttin' Diva's.  Wishing you and yours a wonderfully blessed weekend.

Happy Valentine's Day

Hello and happy Tuesday, so do you have big plans today?  Well as for me it'll be work, we actually went out on Sunday to Valentine's Day brunch and I've received my roses already too so I'm not expecting anything today!  Today I am sharing a card that I put together using Mary's sketch #18 from Cardz TV so I'm sharing it for their Sketch Designer's Challenge #2 Valentine's Day.  I used more pattern paper from the Recollections With Love 6x6, there are just a few sheets left and I don't know what I'm going to do with them because I'm ready to be done with that pad! I cut the stitched heart with one of the dies that I ordered from China, the stamp used for the sentiment and the enamel dots are from Recollections also.   Take care and enjoy your day.

Hello Monday

Monday already, what happened to the weekend?  Its cold and windy outside, nothing like the warm temps we had over the weekend!  Today I am sharing another LO that I created this year, I haven't been able to keep up with my LO challenge for this year.  Actually I am behind on all my challenges but I am still creating which is good.  Last month our daughter surprised us by saying she wanted to go take the test to get her learner's permit to drive,  I am not sure what changed because she had been saying she didn't want to drive.  So of course I had to scrap this milestone, sketch inspiration came from Sketch N Scrap's sketch #122, used random papers, and embellishments from my stash.  The mixed title included stickers and part of a cut from the Silhouette online store.  Another memory documented, have wonderful week.

Hello Friday

Hello and happy Friday it's the weekend!  Do you have exciting plans or will you just enjoy some rest and relaxation.  As for me I am going to just stay in as much as possible so I can try to get some chores done so I can  play and make sure my Valentine's Day cards go postal tomorrow!  Today I am sharing a card that I put together using sketch #389 from Tuesday Morning Sketches.  I am sharing this card for the red, pink plus one additional color challenge over at Hiding in My Craft Room.  The card came together rather easily, I used the Darice hearts and arrows embossing folder, a piece of ribbon, and a few embellishments and the card was done.  Take care and enjoy your weekend.

Happy Birthday Dad

Hello and happy Wednesday, we are still enjoying unseasonably warm temps.  As matter of fact we broke a record yesterday when the temps passed 71 degrees but cooler temps are in the forecast for tomorrow.  Today is my father's 76th birthday so I am sharing one of the cards that I made for him.  It is another one of my signature clean and simple cards where I used paper from my scrap stash, a cut from the Father's Day cricut cartridge and some embellishment dots that I think is from the Nicole line at ACMoore.  I am sharing this card for the Cardz TV Anything Goes Designer's Challenge #2, if you are looking for some great inspiration you should head over to their blog!  Thank you for your visit and I hope you'll come back soon.

Happy 16th Birthday

Hello and happy Monday, today we are celebrating the 16th birthday of our daughter.  I know that this post should have been up but as life would have it I just didn't get it all together.  We had a very busy weekend as her social calendar can be jam packed sometime.  We decided to keep her celebration to a minimum this year.  Since she didn't have school today we spent the day hanging out and enjoying the nice temps.

Whatever Wednesday

Hello and happy hump day, we have nice temps for the last two days but the forecast calls for me seasonal temps soon.  Today marks the start of Black History Month but I celebrate not only in February but everyday which is one of my main reasons for scrapbooking!  So today I'm sharing a male birthday card that was inspired by sketch challenge #142 over at As You See A Challenge.  I embossed the blue layer with a Darice embossing folder but decided to use the debossed side, added some twine, a few gems and a stamped sentiment and this card was done!   Thank you for your visit and I hope you'll have a wonderful Wednesday.
