Thursday Musings

Wow, it's Thursday and I am starting to wonder where has the week has gone.  I am so ready for spring but it looks like old man winter is not ready to release it's grips!  Today I am sharing a birthday card that I made for a one year old that recently lost his mother so we decided to send him a care package for his birthday.   Most of the paper came from my scrap stash and the squirrel die cut came from the Birthday Bash cricut cartridge and the sentiment is a  stamp from Hampton Arts.  I am sharing this card for the birthday bash challenge over at Bitten By the Bug2.  Take care and try to stay warm if you live in an area where it is freezing cold.

Happy 5th Birthday

Hello and happy Saturday, the day started off sunny and warm but a rain and hail storm rolled through this evening.  I meant to post earlier but as life would have it I didn't have time.  This evening I am sharing a card that was created using sketch #36 from Paper Play Sketches.   The pattern paper came from a Momenta pad, I cut the bird and the #5 from the Birthday Bash cricut cartridge and used a button brad to attach the sentiment.  I am sharing this card for this week's animal challenge over at Die Cuttin' Divas.    Thank you for your visit and I hope you will come back soon.

Thursday Musings

Wow. It seems like forever since I shared; just way too much going to do and just not enough time!  The holiday weekend went by rather quickly and I worked most of the time but I did take some time off on Tuesday to celebrate our anniversary  with my DH.  Today I am sharing another card that I put together using inspiration from challenge  #278 over at Try Stampin on Tuesday.  I used paper from my scrap stash, two different embossing folders, a few gems and a stamped sentiment and the card was done!

Birthday Bash Cards

Its Monday and I'm excited to share that I finally got some LOs and cards done over the weekend.  Today I'm sharing two cards that I created using the Birthday Bash cricut cartridge, I've decided I need to use more of my cartridges so here goes another scrappin' goal.  The cow card is a birthday card for our nephew who is turning 10 on Wednesday, the other elephant card is being sent to a chld that is going through chemo for leukemia.  Have a blessed week and come back tomorrow for one of my Sea World posts!
