Hello Sunday

Its Sunday, the start of another week and today's forecast calls for more high temps.   Lots on the calendar for this week!   Tomorrow starts the beginning of another no spend month, can!t believe Michaels had two sixty percent off coupons last week and I didn't use either one of them!  Sure hope I can get more LOs done, I am actually doing pretty good since I started and finished my mom's birthday album but there's more to do!  Today I am sharing another Mother's Day card that I put together using skerch #494 from  Mojo Monday,  paper from The My Mind's Eye A Happy Heart 6x6 paper pad, some enamel dots and Spellbinders Blooms One.  I am sharing this card for the Freestyle #\299 challenge over at Hiding in my Craft Room.   Take care and have a wonderful week.

Hello and happy Saturday, it is going to be really hot today so my movements will be limited.  I am back today to share a card that I put together using sketch #41 from Paper Play Sketches and paper the My Minds Eye Honey Cake 6x6 paper pad.  I cut the music note from the SLICE Music & Dance cartridge and heat embossed the sentiment which came from one of the ms. sparkle & co. stamp sets from JoAnns.  I am sharing this card for the music themed project challenge over at Cut it Up, the polka dot challenge over at DIe Cuttin' Divas.  Take care and enjoy your weekend.

Sip & Paint

Hello and happy Thursday, high temps are in the forecast for today.  I am excited to share today's project because it is a LO; I haven't completed a LO in a long time!  I used sketch inspiration from sketch #127 from Sketch N Scrap.   I used paper came from one of the Craft Smith paper pads, can't remember the name right now.  I used Thickers for the title, cut the doodle circle,  wine bottle and glass with my cameo and I cut the paint and brush using the Locker Talk cricut cartridge.  I really like how this came out so I am going to try to spend the weekend completing more LOs.  Take care and have a terrific Thursday.

Happy Birthday

Hello and happy Tuesday, more rain in the forecast today.  I'm back today to share a card that I made that will be going postal for someone celebrating their birthday at the end of the month.  I didn't follow a sketch challenge for this one instead I am sharing this card for the color challenge over at CAS-ual Fridays.  The challenge was to use the colors navy, white and pink.  I used one of my Crafter's Companion embossing folders for the first time called Chic, the wreath is a Memory Box die, stamped the sentiment on a Spellbinder's label die for the stamped sentiment.  Thank you for your visit, hope you'll come back again soon.

Happy Monday

It's Monday and the start of a new work week, lots going on.  The weekend goes by so quick but I did manage to get a few cards in the mail and some made to share on the blog this week.  Today I am sharing a Mother's Day card created using card sketch#96 for inspiration from Sketch N Scrap, papers, enamel dots and washi from Echo Park by Lori Whitlock.  I used my SLICE to cut the pitcher and flowers, the SLICE is still one of my go to machines!  I am also sharing this card for the Scraps of Color, first and third monthly challenge and the any holiday challenge#298 over at Hiding in my Craft Room.  Take care and I hope you'll come back soon.

Sunday Musings

Hello and happy Sunday, I meant to post yesterday but time got away from me.  Today I am sharing a card that I put together using sketch inspiration from challenge #218 from (CAS(E).  I really like this sketch so I made two cards using paper from my scrap stash, on this card I stamped a sentiment and added a few gems.  I think it looks better in person,  it was cloudy outside when the picture was taken so it isn't as crisp.  Thank you for your visit, best wishes to you and yours for a wonderfully blessed week.

Happy Mother's Day

Hello Thursday, can't believe how fast this week has flown by!  I'm back today to share my very first Mother's Day for this year and since it is only a few weeks away I really need to step up my game and crank out some cards.  Today's super simple but cute card was created using Mary's sketch #17 (I've used this sketch before) from Cardz TV.   The pattern paper is from the Amy Tangerine Sketchbook 6x6 paper pad, the other papers came from a Momenta pad, both have been in my stash for a while.  The focal point of this card for me is the hearts which symbolizes the love a mother has for her children.  A few epoxy heart stickers and a stamped sentiment completes this card.  Thank you for your visit and hope you'll come back soon.

Sunburst Card

Hello and happy Easter Monday, I hope that you had a wonderfully blessed day celebrating the resurrection of our savior.  I am definitely tired as I went to my parents and helped my mom and had a long visit with one of my friends and didn't get home until after 11 pm.  Today I am sharing a sunburst card that I created using a video shared by Joy from Obsessed with Scrapbooking.  I like how it came out but I could use a little more practice on the technique.  Take care and have a wonderful week.

Happy Easter

Hello and Happy Resurrection, wishing you and yours a wonderfully blessed day.  I am going to visit my parents again today, I don't feel like making the drive and nor will I  arrive in time for church but  I feel like I really need to spend more time with my family. Today I am sharing a super simple card that I just completed this morning, I only made two Easter cards this year so I didn't send any out.  I used  scrap paper from a Momenta 6x6 paper pad, one of my neglected embossing folders, the heart die cur came from the cricut Designer Calendar cartridge, a Gina Marie die for the slop and the sentiment was heat embossed.  I am sharing this card for challenge #283 over  at Freshly Made Sketches and challenge #312 over at Die Cuttin' Divas.  Take care and have a good day.

Hello Friend

It's Thursday and I'm  feeling like I need at least two more days in my work week.  I have been extremely busy, I guess it's good considering the fact that I am so sleepy.  Today I am sharing a card that I made for one of my crafty friends using sketch #40 from Paper Play Sketches.  The strips of pattern papers are left over from another project that I'll share later, the papers are from the Doodlebug take note 6x6 pad that was gifted to me.  The stamped sentiment is from the Cardz TV favorite phrases set, the dress form is a Spellbinders die and the flowers are from Paper Studio.  I'm also sharing this card for the flowers challenge over at Use Your Stuff.  Thank you for your visit, hope you'll come back soon.

Wednesday Wanderings

Hello and happy Wednesday, this has been an extremely busy week.  The weather has been nice but I've been too busy or tired to really enjoy it.  I'm stopping in today to share a card that I put together for one of my co-workers that recently finished her radiation treatments and lost her brother.  I used sketch #492 from Mojo Monday, pattern paper from the DCWV  All Dressed Up paper pad, cut the sentiment using the George cricut cartridge, some Recollections glitter tape and a few sequins and the card was done.  I am also sharing this card for the Super Scraps Saturday challenge #296 from Hiding in my Craft Room.  Take care and enjoy your day.

Happy Sibling Day

Hello and happy Monday, I feel like it has been forever since I shared on my blog!  I have had a very busy last few days so no time for crafting but I did manage to spend some time with family, friends and associates.  Today I am sharing a picture taken of me and my youngest sister taken on Thursday after my uncle's funeral.  It's just the two of us now and sometimes my heart really longs and aches to chat with my oldest sister.  I know that she is looking down and rooting for us as we weather the storms of everyday life.  I am thankful for the time we did have with her.  Take care, have a good day and don't forget to let your family know how you feel about them and cherish the time you have with them.

From the Heart

Hello Thursday, the forecast calls for some bad weather.  Today I am making a turnaround road trip home.  It has been over a week since my uncle (one of my father's brothers) transitioned from earth to his heavenly home and today the family will celebrate his life.  I wasn't sure I wanted to go but I felt I should go to support my father, the relationship with my father's family is different from the one we have with my mother's family.  My father has often said it's his fault because he never made our relationship with his family a priority. So today I am sharing a card that I made for my dad.  I used inspiration from skerch #206 from Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge.  The papers came from the Ready Set Go 6x6 paper pad by Amy Tangerine, the sentiment is a stamp from Stampin' Up and  I added a wood veneer heart to complete the card.  Thank you for your visit and I hope you'll come back soon.

Just a Note

Hello and happy Wednesday, today is my last day at work for this week..  Today's card is one that I really like how it came out but the lighting seems a little off.  I have Melissa from Moe Creations to thank for this card's inspiration.  After seeing her video I decided to use my Wellies die for the first time  and I am sure I will be using it again soon.  I used paper from a Momenta 6x6 paper pad, some stitched rectangle dies, flowers from Hobby Lobby and a punch for the greenery.  I am sharing this card for the Anything Goes Designer Challenge #6 over at Cardz TV.  Thank you for your visit, take care and enjoy your day.

Love

Hello Tuesday, seasonal temps and of course all the other issues that come along with all of the pollen.  Today I am sharing another anniversary card that I put together using one of Mary's sketches from Cardz TV.  I used sketch #12, I am so all over the place I have got to get organized.  I've been so busy working on cards that my LO challenge has been neglected.  The papers used on this card came from the MME Honey Cake 6x6 pad, the sentiment die was part of a set I received from my scrapping BFF for my birthday and the gems from Hobby Lobby.  Take care and have a terrific Tuesday.

Monday Musings

Hello and happy Monday, again the weekend was too short.  A quick driveby post, too much to do and not enough time or energy.  Today I am sharing a birthday card that I put together  using sketch  inspiration from Colours  & Sketches.  I just used some of my scraps of paper from my stash and a stamped sentiment, just a few cuts some foam tape this card was done. It is going postal latter today!  Take care and enjoy your week.

Happy Birthday Cheryl

Hello Sunday, the start of a new week and a beautiful Spring day.  I am back today sharing a birthday card that I made for one of my crafty friends Cheryl, she probably won't receive it until Monday since I didn't get it in the mail until Friday.  I'm sure she won't mind, its the thought that counts!  I used sketch #215 from CAS(E) for inspiration, the birds and swirls cuttlebug folder and a Prima flower.   I cut the stem using my SLICE machine.  I am slowing in my challenge, might need to take some time away from creating.  Thank you for your visit, wishing you and yours a wonderful week.
