COVID Cooking

Hello and happy cloudy Thursday evening doing a quick drive by post.  Today’s project share is a LO that I created sharing some of what we have been doing during the pandemic.  We have been cooking more and trying some different recipes.  We recently made bang bang shrimp pasta, salmon cakes and my version of the O’Charleys California chicken salad.  I used miscellaneous papers, stickers for the title, the From my Kitchen Cricut cartridge to cut the apron and my SLICE machine to cut the apple and pan.  I am already working on another quarantine LO, hopefully I will finish it this weekend.

Thank you for your visit, stay safe and healthy.

Just For You

Hello  and happy Tuesday, stopping in to do another drive by post.  Today’s project share was created using more scraps from my stash and sketch inspiration shared on the Sketch and Scrap FB group where they share different challenges from the blog.  The flowers were cut using a Love Nicole die for the larger one and a Sizzix die for the smaller two.  The sentiment was cut unsung a De’sire die set that I picked up from TM earlier this year and the little gemstones were part of a prize pack.  I am working on cards that will be going to residents in facilities that can’t have visitors right now, I hope to have all 20 done before the end of the week.

Thank you for your visit, I hope you will return soon.  Be safe and stay healthy as you stay home.

CIU #198 - Our Beautiful Earth

Hello and happy Friday, let the weekend begin.  Today’s project share is my design team project created for the Cut it Up challenge blog.  The theme for this challenge #198  is Earth Day and our sponsor is Digital Delights by Louby Loo.

I created my respecting nature card by using papers from one of my Ki Memories (Hampton Arts) 6x6 paper pads and one  of my favorite Sizzix die sets.  I used a Love Nicole stamp for the sentiment and added some Wink of Stellar and some liquid pearls.  Although this is one of my favorite die sets this is only my second time using it because it can be a little time consuming, maybe the next time I will make more more than one card using the die. I am sharing this card for the Showers & Flowers challenge over at Double D Challenges.

Now that you have seen my project I hope you will head over to the Cut it Up  challenge blog for more design team inspiration, create and share your Earth Day project.  The challenge starts today and ends Wednesday, April 29 at noon EST.

Thank you for your visit, come back soon, stay safe and healthy.
