Hello and happy Friday and holiday weekend!  Happy Birthday to Rowena one of my college roommates. So what's on your agenda for the long holiday weekend, I hope to get some much needed chores done, purging and organizing of my craft supplies.  I also have a paint and sip birthday celebration on my calendar for tomorrow evening.

Today's card share was created using sketch inspiration  from The Paper Players #542 and papers from a Ki Memories 6x6 paper pad, a Sizzix stamp and die set from one of my many HL clearance hauls.  Finished the card by adding a few Pink & Main heart enamel dots.  Another card done and ready to go postal, I really have to do better with getting my cards in the mail in a timely manner!

Father’s Day

Hello Wednesday, hot and humid in our area today. It has been a while since I shared but it was for a good cause.  I took a few days off work and went to visit my son in Pittsburgh, my daughter and I had a really nice time so stay tuned for some LOs.

Today I am sharing a card created using sketch inspiration from Atlantic Hearts sketch #422, pattern paper from the Love Nicole Time Machine 6x6 paper pad, some unbranded tool dies and a Hero Arts stamp for the sentiment.  Another clean and simple card done and ready to go postal!  I am also sharing this card for the anything goes challenge #141 over at Cardz TV

CIU #226 - Nature

 

Hello and happy  Friday, great weather in the forecast as I'm headed out of town.  Today's project share is my latest design team project for the Cut it Up challenge blog.  The theme for challenge #226 is nature and the sponsor is STAMPlorations.

This is another one of those projects that I struggled with what I wanted to do, I  decided to use a stamp set that has been sitting in my stash unused for at least two years.  The base paper is from the 49 & Market Sky Mini Collection 6x6 paper pad, an unbranded tree stamp, used a sentiment die from the challenge sponsor. I used Amy Tangerine dies for the snow mound and bird. This is one of those cards that I have mixed feelings about how it came out.

Hello and happy Tuesday, sunny and warm temps in today's forecast.  I'm doing a quick drive by post to share another 81/2 x 11 created for one of my daughter's albums.  I used sketch inspiration from the Stick it Down May single page LO challenge, more CTMH papers and some wood veneer letters for the title and embellishments.  I'm sharing this LO for the Cardz TV anything goes challenge #140.

TMS #605

 Hello Saturday, I am posting from bed after having a extremely busy work week and staying up until 1 AM this morning making this card.  I used sketch inspiration from Tuesday Morning Sketches #605, scrap papers from my stash and pattern papers from a Crate Paper 6x6 pad.  The flower is a Crafter’s Companion die, the center button is from a Paper Studio bag of buttons gifted to me many years ago  and the sentiment is a Ms Sparkle & Co stamp.  I am glad that I have been shopping my stash, now if I can just stop adding to it.  Another card done ready to go postal so I will spend time today getting some cards addressed for the mail.

Hello Thursday, clear skies and mild temps in today’s forecast.  I have been really busy week at work so my playtime has been limited because when I get home I am exhausted.  Today’s card was created using sketch inspiration from Atlantic Hearts  Sketch #420, papers from a really old Crate Paper 6x6 paper pad, a Crafter’s Companion stitched hexagon die set, a Hampton Art stamp for the sentiment and a Recollections rhinestone heart sticker.  Another card done and ready to go postal.  I am sharing this card for the Cardz TV Anything Goes challenge #140.

Hello and happy rainy Monday, yesterday was beautiful I had a wonderful Mother's Day.  I went to visit my mom on Saturday so I could have a day of rest and relaxation which I really enjoyed.   I am doing a quick drive by post to share a card created using sketch inspiration from Sketch N Scrap card challenge #193.  I used scraps of paper from the Ki Memories  Growing Garden 6x6 paper pad, sad to report the final scraps are being tossed.  I've got to get this paper hoarding under control!  I also used a Sizzix die for the flower, a Woodware stamp for the sentiment and a few gems/faux pearls from Recollections.

CIU #225 - Mother’s Day

 Hello Friday, let the weekend begin!  Today’s project is my first ever eclipse card created for my design team project over at Cut it Up  for challenge #225,.  The theme is Mother’s Day and the sponsor is CAS-ual Fridays Stamps.

When putting my card together I used a piece of pattern paper from a DCWV Year Round paper stack,  a piece of ribbon for the bow (used the cheater method), a Momenta alphabet set and some foam for dimension.  The next time I might use the multiple paper cuts instead of the foam. The card base is a piece of Paper Studio heavy weight card  stock.  I like how my card came out but I feel there is room for improvement.

Sympathy Card

 Hello Saturday, more nice temps with the possibility of some rain at some point today.  Today I am doing a quick drive by post to share a sympathy card created using sketch inspiration from Atlantic Hearts sketch #418 and papers from the Simple Stories Vintage Bliss 6x6 paper pad. I used a Sizzix small label die, a Gina Marie flower die and a Recollections stamp for the sentiment.  Another card done and ready to go postal when needed.  I am sharing this card for the Anything Goes challenge #139 over at Cardz TV.  Today is also National Scrapbook Day, I hope to come back and share another project later.
