Wednesday Musings

Hello and happy Wednesday, the last day of the month and I'm feeling a bit overwhelmed!  Today's card share is one created using sketch inspiration from the Stick it Down July sketch over in their FB group.  The papers came from one of the Violet Studio paper pads, cut the flowers using the scrapbook.com Flower Market die set, added some bling to the flower ceners and a stamped sentiment and this card was done!  Another signature clean and simple card ready to go postal.  I am so far behind in creating my layouts, I really hope I can spend some time scrapbooking over the weekend.

Thank you for your visit, I hope you will visit again soon.

CIU #309 - Clean and Simple

Hello Friday, today's project share is my latest design team project for the Cut it Up challenge blog.  The theme  for challenge #309 is Clean and Simple, even though  this is my signature crafting style this wasn't an easy create.

As my stash of unused items continue to grow I decided to use some dies that I recently purchased from Scrapbook.com, one of their recent bundles. I used the fruit slice cover plate die and the sentiment die with the  outline.  The dies do all the work, nothing else needed!

Now that you've seen my Clean and Simple project, I hope you will visit the Cut it Up challenge blog for more inspiration.  Create and share your Clean and Simple project using a die. The challenge starts today and ends Wednesday, August 8, 2024 noon PST.

Thank you for your visit, continue to be safe and hurry back again soon.

Monday Musings

Hello Monday, doing a quick drive by to post to share a card that has been waiting to be used for some time.   I have had this little die set in my stash for at least two years and this was my first time using it; I really need to resume my no craft shopping ban.  I have way too much stuff sitting around waiting to be used.  In addition to the die set I used mostly scraps of paper and a stamped sentiment from Crafter' Square (picked it up from Dollar Tree on Saturday and used it on this project that was waiting to be finished.

I  am sharing this card for the Anything Goes challenges 657-658 over at Word Art Wednesday and NBUS challenge #64.

Thank you for your visit, take care and continue to be safe.  I hope you'll visit again soon.

Hello and happy Friday, let the weekend begin!  Today I am sharing my design team project for the Cut it Up challenge blog.  The theme for challenge #308 is Christmas in July.  When putting my card together I u plaid piece of pattern paper from a Park Lane 6x8 pad (picked it up n clearance last year, the paper used from the sentiment came from the same pad, i used a Sizzix die set for the letters and the TH Sizzix Christmas Minis Thinlit Die set for the Santa.  Finished the card by using some TH mica stain to add some splatter.  I did get the inspiration for this card from the internet.

Tuesday Musings

Hello Tuesday, doing a quick drive by post to share another 4th of July card that I put together last week.  I meant to share it on the 4th but as life would have it I didn't get a chance to create the post.  I have several dies in my stash that I hadn't used yet so I decided to use the postage stamp die and some paper scraps  from the Pebbles  Americana 6x6 pad.  The die did most of the work so I just added a stamped sentiment, a few star gems and attached it the card base with some dimensional adhesive tape.  I am sharing this card for the inaugural challenge over at A Cut Above and the Shopping Our Stash challenge #525 never before used stuff which in this case was the postage stamp die. I had never used it because I didn't purchase anything else to go along with it.  Maybe one day I'll get some of the accompanying items but for now I'll use it! I like how this card came out; I have already started working on my next project using this die.

Thank you for your visit, take care and hurry back soon. Friday is post day for the Cut it Up challenge blog!

Christmas in July

Hello Sunday, another week and chance to do and be better.  I am doing a quick drive by post to share a card created using sketch inspiration from Atlantic Hearts Sketch challenge #584.All items used have been in my stash for at least two years, the pattern paper came from an American Crafts 6x6  pad called Hot Cocoa and the focal die was ordered online and the label die was from Sizzix.   I used a sticker for the sentiment and added some enamel dots.

Thank you for your visit, take care and hurry back soon.

Enjoy the Little Things

Hello and happy Wednesday and let the mini vacay begin!  Today is my last day at work this week but that doesn't mean I'll be resting and relaxing.  We made plans to paint and try to get my play space in order so I can free up the dining room.

Today's card share was created using sketch inspiration from Tuesday Morning Sketches #763, pulled papers from two different Recollections 6x6 paper pads and a small gold scrap from my stash of paper scraps.  The cupcake was created using a Crafter's Companion stamp and die set, this was my first time using it and it was a process.  I'm not sure when I'll use it again even though it has an ice cream cone on it too, its the trying to find the different inks that made it a long process!  The stamped sentiment is from another Crafter's Companion set, finished by adding a few gems and I like it! I'm sharing this card for the Word Art Wednesday Anything Goes challenge 655-656.

Thank you for your visit, take care and be safe and enjoy the upcoming holiday.  Hurry back soon!

Memory Dex Monday

Hello Monday, looking forward to some down time this holiday week.  This past weekend was full of some unexpected challenges but I'm grateful for God's grace and mercy.  Today's project share is my monthly memory dex card.  When putting this card together I used dies, buttons, twine, stamps, my Cricut and the last scrap piece of paper from that 12 x 12 sheet (I think I used that one sheet of paper on four projects).  This little card used lots of randomness but came out quite cute!  I am sharing this project over on IG for the @2Crafters1Design bear themed challenge and the button challenge over at Shopping Our Stash.

Thank you for your visit, take care and hurry back soon!
