Wednesday Musings

Happy Wednesday, mild temps in today's forecast.  Today's quick project share is a card created using sketch inspiration from a challenge posted over on FB in the Scraps of Color Group.  I used papers from the Simple Stories Vintage Bliss 6x6 paper pad which was gifted to me from one of my scrapping besties! I colored the unity stamp with pencils, used a Hero Arts stamp for the sentiment, added a bow that I cut with a non-branded die and the card was done!  I am sharing this card for the Anything Goes challenge #128 over at Cardz TV.

Thank you for your visit, stay safe as you celebrate the holiday and hurry back soon!

Card Sharing

It has been sometime since I shared on my blog but I pushed myself today to get some cards ready to go postal this week.   Today I am sharing a card that I am sending to a child that has cancer and has requested handmade cards.  Several requests for cards have been shared on facebook and posted as challenges on other blogs.

I used an embossing folder for the sentiment, the echo park deer came from the SIL store and was cut with the cameo, a layer of snow, added some stickles and stars and the card was complete. I am sharing this for  week #48 anything goes blog challenge over at Scraps of Color,  I have just one more project to post and I will have participated in this challenge for the entire year!

Hello Sunday

I feel like it has been forever since I shared on blog, at least a week.  Today I'm sharing another card using a sketch from Clean & Simple Stamping.  The sketches are just my style!  I used a kraft paper card base, papers from an Echo Park 6x6 paper pad, my cuttlebug for the embossing the flower and bling center are both from Recollections.  I am gearing up for another busy week but I hope to finish up a LO that I started last week.  Thank you for stopping by and I hope you have a great day and a great week.

Hello Friday

Over at  Stampin' Dymonz Scrap Shack we were challenge to create a card using a diecut, I am always looking for ways to use my stash of goodies and my machines.  It just happens that time doesn't always permit me to complete the projects in a timely manner!  I needed some anniversary cards and of course I"m 'queen of simple' so I made this card using the wedding cartridge, glittered paper and the package from a cricut cartridge to cut the glasses. the stamp is one that I've had forever I think I got it from $1 bin at Michaels and the paper is some that I've had forever and have been trying to use up. Wishing you and yours a happy and blessed New Year.

Hello Monday

Today I've got the "Monday Blues" so I'm just going to get to the point of sharing another simple card that I made over the weekend.  I wasn't able to craft or do much of anything else because I've just got too much going on right now.  So much so I don't want to go to go on our little getaway.  I made this card for another one of Tiare'a sketch challenges.  You can vist her blog at iclassygirl for some inspiration.

V-Card #2

This is my second card for the valentine card challenge over at Scraps of Color. This week's challenge was to create a card using non-tradional colors (no red, pink, purple or black). I used some paper that I picked up in Hobby Lobby, a fiskars border punch and a stamp that I got from the Target $1 zone a few years ago.

V-Card #1

I finally got to do a little scrappin' not much but just a little! I've been working on a LO of my DD's most recent dance routine and I finished this card last night. This is the first in several for a weekend card challenge over on Scraps of Color. The challenge was to use red, white, and black paper only and at least one heart. I cut the double heart from the wedding cricut cartridge and then applied some rub-ons and added glitter.

Hello Card

Photobucket
I created and submitted this card as part of a card challenge over at Scraps of Color. I created it using mostly scraps from my stash and I didn't use my cricut or any stamps! I had to repost the picture because I had inadvertently left something off and I did use the cuttlebug on that small area although you can't see it in the picture!
