Christmas Cheer

Hello and happy Sunday,  doing a drive by post to share another holiday card. I used sketch inspiration from Freshly Made Sketches #744, Recollections pattern paper, a postage stamp die set, created my reindeer girl using a marshmallow die set with  several other die sets! I really had to shop my stash to get this project done. The sentiment came from an ephemera pack from my stash. This is my second Christmas in July card, not sure if I will have time to create others.

I am sharing this card for the Die Cut Divas Christmas in July challenge.

Thank you for your visit, take care and hurry back soon.

CIU #334 - Christmas in July

Hello and happy Friday, let the weekend begin!  Today's card share is my design team project for the Cut it Up challenge blog.  The theme for challenge #334 is Christmas in July.  Once I decided which dies I wanted to use the inspiration for the design of the card came from one that I had previously seen on YT.  I used an embossing folder and a Spellbinder's die set for the icons, a sticker for the sentiment and this card was done!

I hope you will visit the Cut it Up challenge blog for more inspiration, create and share your Christmas in July project.  The challenge starts today and ends Monday, July 21, 2025 at noon PST.

Thank you for your visit, continue to be safe and hurry back again soon!

Happiest Season of All

Hello Thursday, another hot day here in our area.  I am doing a really quick post to share my last 2020 Christmas in July card.  I used sketch inspiration from CAS(E) 382, pattern paper  from the American Crafts Hot Cocoa 6x6 paper pad, a Momenta poinsettia die and a Hero Arts Clearly Kelly stamp for the sentiment; finished the card by adding a few gold sequins!   I am also sharing this card for the Christmas in July challenge over at  the Die Cut Divas challenge blog.

Thank you for your visit, stay safe and hurry back!

Love & Joy Come to You

Good morning, just dropping in to do a quick quick post as I need to get organized and ready for my day.  Today’s card share is my second Christmas in July card where I used a wreath die for the first time.  The SpellbInders build a wreath die was gifted to me over five years ago from another crafter but I was intimidated so I never used it until this week.  The  die set has 8 pieces including the bow, I cut and embossed each piece twice, assembled the wreath and added it to the card using some foam adhesive.  I used pattern paper from an American Crafts 6x6 paper pad that picked  up from TM last year and a Hero Arts stamp that I picked up from a TM store closing sale last Sunday..   My continued goal is try to use my goodies sooner rather than later and reduce my stash.  I am sharing this card for the Cardz TV Anything Goes challenge #119.

Thank you for your visit, stay safe and hurry back soon!

Christmas in July

Hello and happy Thursday, seasonal temps in today’s forecast.  Today I am doing a quick drive by post to share my first Christmas in July card.  I am excited to say that I used something very old and a not so old item from my stash  for the first time when putting this card together.  I used white card stock, a snowflake embossing folder, a Sizzix TH embossing diffuser and the Spellbinders Deck the Halls die set that I  picked up from one of the HL clearance sales.   I think it looks better in person,  the picture does no capture  the Stickles and Glimmer Mist.  I am seeing this card for challenge #424 - Christmas in July over at Shopping Our Stash.

Thank you for your visit, stay safe.  I hope you’ll come back tomorrow, I will be sharing my latest design team project for the  Cut it Up challenge blog.

Jolly and Happy

Hello and happy Thursday, another heat advisory today but not as warm as yesterday!  Today I am doing a drive by post sharing a super quick card that I put together using sketch inspiration from Atlantic Hearts sketch #325.  In keeping with the Christmas in July theme I decided to create a card using pattern paper and a cut apart for the sentiment from the Craft Smith Say Freeze 6x6 paper pad gifted to me by one of my scrappin' besties!  I finished the card off by adding a few Queen & Co Jellies.  I'm sharing this card for the Use Your Stuff challenge #367- Masculine.  I hope I have more time to play this weekend!

Thank you for your visit and I hope you'll return soon.

CIU #178 - Christmas in July

Hello and happy Friday, more seasonal temps in the forecast for our area.  Today I am sharing my latest design project for the Cut it Up challenge blog.  The theme for challenge #178 is Christmas in July and our sponsor is Scrappy Dew.

As much I as I try to step out of my comfort zone it seems as though I can't get away from my clean and simple style of crafting.  When putting this card together, I used the Christmas flower from the sponsor, cut the flower, inked the edges, assembled the layers and added a little glimmer to the center of the flower which is barely visible in the picture.  I used papers from my scrap stash, added the flower with some dimensional adhesive, stamped the sentiment and this card was done!

For more inspiration visit the Cut it Up challenge blog, create your Christmas in July project and share it for a chance to win a prize from Scrappy Dew.

Thank you for your visit, wishing you and yours a wonderful weekend.
