Wow, it's Friday, hello weekend! Today's project share is my design team project  for the Cut it Up challenge blog. I have mixed feelings about it and almost didn't want to share it.  The theme for challenge #218 is Point of View and the challenge sponsor is The Cutting Cafe.

I used a camera shaped card file from our sponsor, the yellow pattern piece of paper is from Paper Studio, the glitter paper is from Crafter’s Companion, circle dies and a CTMH stamp for the sentiment completed my card.

Visit the  Cut it Up challenge blog for more Point of View projects, create and share your own project for a chance to win some cutting files from The Cutting Cafe.. The challenge starts today and ends Wednesday, February 10,  2021 at noon EST.

Hello Sunday afternoon, stopping in to share my second post for the day.  Sharing my first Valentine’s Day card for the season using sketch inspiration from Atlantic Hearts challenge #404, papers from the Pebbles Be Mine 6x6 paper pad, an unbranded stitched heart die set and a Craftsmart stamp for the sentiment. Another card done and ready to go postal soon!

Season 2

Hello Sunday, the  start of a new week, a new day to try to do better! I am doing a quick drive by post sharing my first LO for the year. My one word for the year is HOPE and I have high HOPES for my crafting life too. I created this LO for a challenge for one my FB groups using one of the pictures taken when we took our daughter back to school in August (for one week).  The papers came from the Park lane Je ne said quoi 12 x 12  paper pad, Thickers for the title, misc. dies, a lunch and the Cricut CTMH Art Philosophy cartridge to cut the tree.  I finished the LO by adding some splatters (still trying to perfect this technique) so I have mixed feelings about it. day. I am stopping in to share my first LO for the year.  Image sharing this LO for the Anything Goes challenge #132 over at Cardz TV.

Thank you for your visit, continue to stay safe and hurry back.

Celebrate

Hello Thankful,Thursday, I have been trying to share this post for two days!   I'm doing a quick drive by post to share another birthday card using sketch inspiration from Fab Friday sketch #205.  I love the simplicity of the sketch which allowed me to use some of my paper scraps from other projects.  The stamp is one that I picked up on clearance last year from Hobby Lobby.  The card base is from a pack of card/envelopes that have been in my stash forever can’t remember the brand right now. I am sharing this card for the Anything Goes challenge #132 over at Cardz TV.

Thank you for your visit, stay safe and hurry back.

Happy Birthday Wishes

Hello and happy Friday evening, back for my second post of the day to share is another signature clean and simple card. Although I am on a roll with birthday cards I will need to work on a LO soon for a challenge. Everything used on this card was gifted to me from other crafty friends with the exception of the card base and oxide ink used for the stenciled background area. This is my first time using distress oxide ink, I picked up a few colors when Js was having a clearance sale.  The only piece of paper used was a scrap piece of $Tree foil which I added to some foam adhesive before running the die through my Cuttlebug. I finished the card by adding a few gems, so another card is done and ready to go postal. I am sharing this card for the something new challenge #196 over at Always Fun and the all about new challenge #413 over at Use Your Stuff.

Thank you for your visit, continue to be safe as you enjoy your weekend and hurry back!

CIU #217 - Back in Time

Hello happy Friday and welcome to the weekend.  Today I am sharing my latest design team project for the Cut it Up challenge blog. The theme for challenge #217 is Back in Time and the sponsor is Lawn Fawn.

I went back to the 80s and used one of my files from the Silhouette design library, a cassette player/walkman. The pattern layer of payer is from the Project Life Desktop Edition 6x6 paper pad and the cassette tape was cut using the Sizzix Sing it Loud 2 die set.  I still own lots of cassette tapes and may even have a walkman somewhere in my stash!

I hope you will head over to the Cut it Up challenge blog for more design team inspiration, decide to create and share your Back in Time project for a chance to win a $25 gift card from Lawn Fawn. The challenge starts today and ends Wednesday, January 27, 2021 at noon EST.

Happy 21st Birthday

Hello Wednesday, nice temps in today's forecast so I'll be taking a walk during lunch.. Today's quick drive by post is a card that I created for my daughter to give to one of her male friends.  I always struggle with male cards but I usually just try to change the paper colors and not over embellish it.  I used a sketch from one of my FB groups and some paper from the Graphic 45 Time to Celebrate 6x6 paper pad, stamped a sentiment,  punched a few starts and die cut a balloon and the numbers and the card was done! I'm sharing this card for the Anything Goes challenge #131 over at Cardz TV.

Thank you for your visit, continue to be safe and hurry back soon!

Thursday Musings

Hello and happy thankful Thursday, my heart still aches from what happened in Washington yesterday. I will continue to lift our country and the people in prayer. It’s cold now bu the forecast calls for temps in the low 50s today.  Today’s card share is one that I created after watching another one of Natasha’s YT videos.  It is my interpretation of a floating element card, I used strips of paper from the My Mind's Eye Well Hello 6x6 paper pad, a. Spellbinders circle die and a Scrapping Cottage butterfly die, a stamped sentiment and a few gems finished this card, which is going postal today!  I am sharing this card for challenge #149 over at Lil Patch of Crafty Friends and challenge #54  January Anything Goes over at Love to Craft challenge blog.

Hello 2021

Hello Tuesday, seasonal temps in today’s forecast; doing a quick drive by post as I should be getting ready for work. Today’s card share is one created using mostly scraps as I have a hard time tossing leftovers from other projects.  I needed some black and white striped paper so I just made my own, used a doily gifted me several years ago, cut the numbers using a piece of glittery card stock, stamped the sentiment with a Fiskars stamp and finished the card by adding a few sequins. I am sharing this card for the word challenge #565 over at Just us Girls and the Anything Goes challenge #131 over at Cardz TV.

Thank you for your visit, continue to be safe and hurry back soon.

CIU #216 - Winter

Hello Friday and Happy New Year! Today I am sharing my latest creation for the Cut it Up. challenge blog.  The theme for challenge #216 is Winter and the challenge sponsor is CAS-ual Friday Stamps.

This is one of those cards that I struggled with and it changed many times in my head before I finally settled.  I like the end result but I could have done a little better with the ink blending and the height of the snow mound!  I used some glittered paper for the snow after I didn't have the items in my stash to create it.  The little penguin die cuts came from Mary over at Cardz TV and I used the Cricut Graphically Speaking cartridge to cut the sentiment and the snowflakes, added some stickles and this card was done and I like it!  I'm sharing it for the Cardz TV anything goes challenge #130.

I hope you head over to the Cut it Up challenge blog for more inspiration and decide to create a winter themed project for a chance to win a $20 gift certificate from our sponsor.  The challenge starts today and ends Wednesday,  January 13, 2021 at noon EST.

Thank you for your visit, continue to be safe and enjoy the weekend.
