Before and After

 Hello and happy Tuesday, another mild weather day in the forecast.  Today's project share is a scrapbooking layout that I created using sketch inspiration from Sketch N Scrap sketch #266. I used miscellaneous papers, used the remaining hexagon gem from a package that had been in my stash for a long time, cut the gifts using the Cricut Art Philosophy cartridge and added a few email dots. The letters for the title came from two differ alphabet sticker packs.  I think it looks better in person, it was foggy outside this morning so I had a hard time trying to take the picture!

Sunday Musings

 

Hello and happy Sunday and the start of a new week.  It rained most of the day yesterday and today has been seasonably cold.  Today I am sharing a card that I put together using sketch inspiration from Atlantic Hearts challenge #513. I used  papers from  a Ki Memories 6x6 paper pad, a WeR MemoryKeepers rose die, a Woodware Stamp for the sentiment and some Paper Studio gems.  The card came together nicely and is ready to go postal when needed!

CIU #272 - Clean and Simple

 

Hello and happy Friday, let the weekend begin!  Today's project share is my latest design team project for the Cut it Up challenge blog.  The theme for challenge #272 is Clean and Simple which is what I do best!

I created my card using sketch inspiration Tuesday Morning Sketches #696, papers from the SEI Juliette 6x6 paper pad, a Spellbinders pocket die, a Stamp of Life stamp for the sentiment and some Bo Bunny enamel dots. I made this card for one of my friends that recently had surgery; so I am sharing this for the The Paper Players Get Well challenge #628.

Tuesday Musings

 Hello and happy Tuesday, special election day so I walked to the polls and voted and got in a morning walk.  Today's card was created using sketch inspiration from Try Stampin' on Tuesday sketch #594,  more papers from the My Mind's Eye Fly A Kite  6x6 paper pad, a Mama Elephant stamp and die set, a Crafter's Companion edge die and some gems.  Another card done and ready to go postal! I am sharing this card for the Anything Starting with the Letter B over at Shopping Our Stash challenge #490.  B is for Birthday and Bear.

Happy Heart Day

 

Hello Tuesday and Happy Valentine's Day! Just doing a drive by post to share my card using sketch inspiration from Sketch N Scrap card sketch #235.  I used more papers from the Honey Bee Stamps Hugs & Kisses 6x6 paper pad, cut the jar using an unbranded jar  die, used some Recollections silver cardstock and vellum for the top.  Finished the card by adding a stamped sentiment (heat embossed),  some enamel hearts and a heart gem!  Although this wasn't the original plan when I started the card I still like the outcome!  I am sharing this card for the Crafts Galore Challenge 108 - Anything Goes.

CIU - #271 - Hearts

 Hello and happy Friday, I'm off work today going to see my dad; he celebrated his 82nd trip around the sun on Wednesday!  Today's card share is my latest design team share for the Cut it Up challenge blog Heart themed challenge #271.  

When putting my card together I used sketch inspiration from Tuesday Morning Sketches, sketch #694; papers from the Honey Bee stamps Hugs & Kisses 6x6 paper pad, a Sizzix dotted heart die set by Stephanie Bernard, a stamp for the sentiment and some Bo Bunny enamel hearts.  I like the simplicity of this card and it is going postal today!

Hello Wednesday and Happy 82nd Birthday to my dad.  I'm sharing the card that I sent to my dad but it really looks similar to the one that I made last year.  When putting the card together I used scrap pieces of paper from the My Mind's Eye Hey Mister 6x6 paper pad, the My Favorite Things Dad die and a Woodware stamp set.   Another signature clean and simple card done!

Hello Monday and Happy Birthday to Baby Girl; our daughter is celebrating her 22nd trip around the sun today.  I'm sharing a card that I put together for her using a the Sizzix thinlit die called Floral Cake that I picked up on clearance from HL.  It was originally $19.99 and I only paid $1.99, when I got it I hadn't remember seeing it on the shelf before!  I just used a DCWV card base and miscellaneous scraps along with a few gems!

Just a Note

 

Hello and happy cold Thursday, woke up to snow flurries that have since melted away.  It has been unusually cold in my office today even though I have on my space heater.  Today's super cute card was created using sketch inspiration from February's card sketch over at Stick it Down.  I used a piece of pattern paper from an older Stampin' Up 6x6 paper pad that was gifted to me a few years ago, a Sizzix postage stamp die, some heart stickers from Paper Studio (that I picked up last year) and a Hero Arts stamp for the sentiment.  I sharing this card for the Love is in the Air challenge #489 over at Shopping Our Stash.
